Lovely apartment in a great area.

Nicely decorated, lovely big bed, great shower. Nice easy walk to Oulton Broad.

Outside is quite industrial but nice view of the river and boatyards from the back.

Room for improvements

Nicely refurbished apartment

The constant noise from the flat above,day and night!,needs soundproofing,creeky noisy floorboards, you hear every movement from people above you including when there constantly using the toilet during the night,or watching TV until late

Did the job, was nice but could do with a tweek here and there.

The apartment itself was lovely and comfortable, with a great shower, the garden was lovely, the bed was comfortable. Tea coffee suger biscuits loo roll towels all provided which is nice. Everything well equipt in the kitchen although didnt use it much! I would come again for a short stay as very conveinient for where i needed to be.

The floor of the flat above was not soundproofed, so sounded like a herd of elephants were up there. The place although clean overall, was dusty in parts, chopping boards stunk, dirty cups, small hole in quilt cover and stain on pillow case, only saying as such a high charge for cleaning shoud rate 100%. I asked for 2 double beds, got a sofa bed which was great but no bedding for it, did manage but not ideal. Also on the week day as on an industrial road, very noisy

Exceptional

We liked the size of the apartment, plenty of room , very cosy. The bed was comfortable with a lovely view of the boats in the small harbour. The garden was a lovely sun trap and we enjoyed our breakfast outside every morning . Location is very good, close to all amenities, there is a lovely park and small free museum and some nice restaurants. We especially liked the Third Crossing restaurant for their fish dishes, you can see the restaurant from the back garden ,across the water but you need to drive to it. Lowestoft beach is only 15min drive away , it was a very nice promenade ,we also felt the cost of drinks, food and kids things were cheap . We would recommend staying in the apartment and if we cane back, we would use it again.

Second stay, good location, hope to return.

Location, good value, clean, modern facilities, lovely shower, and nice garden view to Oulton Broard, As I was with my mother with disability, pleased accommodation on ground floor level. Main bedroom space very large. Sofa bed fine in main living room.

Not much kitchen equipment very basic, for example lack of bowls for serving food, and very small fridge. Only two tea towels and not very water absorbent. Adequate number of bath towels, with no spares, could do with extra, particularly to wipe up any water that went on floor after shower. It would be very useful if shower had a safety rail to hold, otherwise shower vert good. No blankets available for main bed, and sofa bed, this would have helped because cold at night. No instructions for use of oven, or room heating system. Helpful if light outside property, because hard to find at night for the first time, particularly because Sat Nav Directions do not exactly match location of property.

A lovely stay on the Broads

It was dog friendly, and very close to lovely walks around the Oulton Broad. It backs onto a marina, has a lovely long garden, in which we sat on sunny days. It had everything we required in the property, and it was lovely and warm and cosy.

The garden could do with a gate, and the fence repaired, as our dog was keen to escape!

excellent place to stay for a few days

Just perfect for 2 people. comfortable bed and sofa. great location with lots of places nearby to eat and walk the dog. parking was a bonus- the upstairs apartment wasn’t occupied, so there was no competition for a space. felt quiet and secure. nice bit of garden overlooking the boatyard. would be nice in the better weather.

the air freshener was so overpowering, I had to put it outside for the duration. garden is open at the bottom, so not secure for a dog that likes to wander. it’s a long garden though, so not an immediate danger.

Quiet peaceful and worth the money

Nice clean property ground floor room lovely found the stairs a bit steep would not suit anyone with any form of physical Dissabilty Warm and fairly comfortable

The property is located on a industrial estate which was quite a suprise the view of the harbour from the back was lovely but the front although ok is a put off for me

Lovely accommodation but needs to address some H & S issues.

Good location, but needs a light outside the house to highlight Compass Accommodation Board and door number, not clear after dark, the Sat Nav for post code brought to wrong part of the road. Overall the property very good, clean, with modern facilities.

I was with my elderly mother and information not clear that accommodation on first floor and attic of property. The stairs to the property would not meet Health and Standard standards, not sufficient banister rail to grip while going up and down stairs. Also step on 1st floor from kitchen to living room quite high for disabled and elderly better if was a slope for ease of access. Bathroom good but needs rails to hold onto in shower. Apart from H & S issues the accommodation was lovely with very spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds.

Exceptional

We loved absolutely everything. From the moment we arrived we were extremely happy. We had flat 1, it was lovely and clean, smelt beautiful as soon as you walked upstairs. The facilities were perfect, beds very comfortable, view was lovely, local area was great for exploring with two young kids. You are right in the middle of everything, 10mins from Pleasurewood Hills, 10mins from Lowestoft beach, local takeaways just down the road, 20mins from Africa Alive, lovely play park just over the railway crossing from the back gate...we are looking at booking again for next year. The communication from the owners was exceptional, from the time of booking up until the day we left. We can not find any faults what so ever....❤️

Perfect place to explore Suffolk coast

Apartment was tastefully decorated. Spacious bedrooms with great views of estuary. Lots of attention to detail. Kitchen very well equipped. Good quality bedding and towels. Loved the addition of a pedestal fan in each bedroom - great addition in any summer. Spotlessly clean throughout. Highly recommended

Noise from lower flat was quite intrusive. Could smell cigarette smoke as windows were open and somone smoking outside. Shelf on door of fridge was missing

Lovely apartment, in close proximity to shops and bars. Great garden for the dogs, we had a perfect 3 night stay.

The apartment was lovely, it had everything we required and was great for the dogs.

The only minor point is the garden didn’t have a gate at the bottom which meant it wasn’t secure for the dogs. It didn’t matter as the dogs didn’t go to the bottom but it would have been piece of mind if we knew the dogs couldn’t get out.

Exceptional

Very clean, spacious, quiet, well-equipped and well-presented accommodation. Ideal for a short stay. We enjoyed the sightseeing boat trip from the top of Oulton Broad (5 minutes' walk to the boat, leaves at 11am) and the Indian restaurant (turn right at the top of the road, walk 5 minutes, near the garage) was great.

Nothing really to criticise. The location is a little quirky - or at least not obviously touristy - as you go over a level crossing and past various commercial premises to get to it, but they don't produce any noise or disturbance to worry about, and the views from the property are of the garden and marina.
