The Bungalow is cosy self-contained cottage set in the garden at the rear of main house. Comfortably sleeps 2 adults + 2 children with one bedroom (queen bed) and a double bunk next to the living area or 4 adults if suits.
The bathroom includes a spa bath.
The living area has sofa, dining table, TV, DVD and the basic kitchen has electric hotplates and microwave.
Gas barbeque and shared laundry available.
The bungalow is absolutely pet friendly and well-behaved doggies are encouraged, by arrangement - no extra charge! Your garden is securely fenced and our local beach is dog friendly too and just an easy stroll away.

Despite arriving on one of the wettest weekends in a long time, Alison and Gary's care and concern to ensure we stayed comfortable and dry was really lovely. Their bungalow was cosy, homely and had such lovely touches of fruit, brekky items and treats for the dogs. The backyard is secure for the pups and visited by so many different beautiful birds. The location is wonderful - walking distance to restaurants, shops, beach etc. We had a really cosy chilled time. Alison and Gary made us feel so warmly welcomed and we'll be back with the hope of more sun than rain next time 😉

Ally & Gary are lovely hosts, giving you privacy but also offering any help you may need. The Bungalow has absolutely everything for a stress free stay. It’s in a fantastic location, quiet, yet very close to gorgeous doggy friendly beach and main shops etc. wry comfortable and very large secure garden as well. We loved it and will be back. The Bungalow was a fantastic place to stay for our recent family holiday. Alison and Gary were so welcoming and kind. The Bungalow was perfectly located, within walking distance to Moona Moona Creek, Huskisson Beach, and the town itself. Having breakfast food, bread, milk etc provided was a lovely touch, and we loved the visits from many birds.

the Bungalow is a great place to stay in Husky, the hosts provide a clean place which was big enough for 4 of us for a 4 day 3 night stay, they provide extras like breakfast food to help yourself too, books, bedding, info on what to do and they communicate well. And two of the days were over 30 degrees and the design of the place meant we barely had to use the fan, good sized yard perfect for the dog, your own entrance and parking all a short stroll to the beach and walking paths, would stay again for sure, great value

Our dogs were very happy to be able to share our break in the warmer weather.
And the granddaughter loved the bright and colourful bungalow. She kept wanting to return there instead of exploring the area. Best of all, she loved feeding the friendly birds.

I bought my parents and dog to stay in this gorgeous fully self contained bungalow. So close to the beach and Main Street. Had heaps of food and breakfast items which was fantastic and my dog enjoyed the fenced in yard. Highly recommend and will be back 😃

Alison and Gary were lovely hosts. We arrived to food at the Bungalow which was great as it meant we didn’t have to go out to the shops.
There is everything you need in the bungalow such lovely touches and things to explore. My son loved feeding the birds out of his hands and enjoyed watching them each morning.
Even our dog Lilly was made to feel welcome with her own treats and bowls.
We have booked again as we had such a great stay in a lovely part of the world.

Great spot for people and dogs!
I loved staying at The Bungalow. Ollie (my dog) and I were made to feel really welcome. The place is very homey and cosey and Alison was very generous in the little ‘extras’ she provided. Ollie had a big yard to roam and play in, and was welcome inside as well. And it’s a couple of minutes walk to a beautiful dog friendly beach.

A wonderful getaway spot with delightful hosts
The Bungalow is a warm, cosy, welcoming home away from home. It has everything you could need and more, with so many considerate little extras including food for hot breakfasts, snacks, tea, coffee and milk. Allison and Gary are delightful, thoughtful hosts. They made us and our little pug dog feel so very welcome. We will certainly be visiting again.

Cosy place with very helpful owners
We had a lovely long weekend in Huskisson at The Bungalow with our puppy. It had a very homey feel and the owners were very friendly and generous with breakfast supplies and snacks. We loved the birdlife and the location close to beaches, walks and playgrounds. Our puppy loved exploring the garden.

We landed on our feet - what a lovely place !
We landed on our feet at Huskisson when we found The Bungalow, a pet friendly, self-contained, comfortable cottage in a secure backyard also with a spa bath that was bliss.
We had a really great restful time “recharging the boilers” while the local wildlife entertained us.
We left out seed and we’re rewarded with visits from crimson rosellas, king parrots, rainbow lorikeets, parakeets and brush bronze wing pigeons. However the kookaburras liked the bread scraps that we left out for the possums, so we gave them chopped apple after sunset. The possums are active at night and the kookaburras welcome the dawn, with the rest visiting during the day after that.
All the wild life there we found quite tame, so moving slowly nearby didn’t frighten them away.
Our 4 year old Labrador, loves the water, so a daily short walk to visit the beach was a must do event.
Our hosts Alison & Garry are very helpful with email contact to provide information beforehand, as well as being welcoming and supportive during our stay without being intrusive.
Huskisson is surrounded by history, places of interest and outstanding food venues. We used Huskie as a base for trips to different provadores, apairists, olive farms,and vineyards. In a week we feel that we have only scratched the surface, and there is so much more to see, taste and do that we will have to come again.

The Bungalow was perfect for our mini break, being within easy walking distance of both Huskisson and Vincentia. Our dogs had a great time walking on the beach.
Watching the birds on the feeding tables was very entertaining.
Alison and Gary made us feel very welcome.

My Mum and I had a great week @ The bungalow as did my little pup. Owners are warm and friendly without being intrusive. Love the care taken to add little extras for our stay. Easy walk to the beach and also a little further but still easy walk into Husky.

Relaxing stay - genuine pet friendly
This is the very first property where we have been given no requirements for our furry family member holidaying with us. You wouldn’t know this from the quality of the property, however.
The backyard was fully fenced and secure. This was of great benefit when travelling with our dog. We would have made more use of the outdoor space ourselves had the weather been more favourable.
This property is extremely well located - 2 minutes walk to the beach (Huskisson beach, pet friendly), 1km walk to Huskisson and not much more in the other direction to Vincentia.
The property itself was very well appointed with juice, bacon, eggs and yogurt even provided among many other items in the kitchen. All of the appliances we used worked well.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bungalow and look forward to visiting again in the future when we are in the area.

Great place in great location
We stayed at the cottage for a week and really enjoyed our time there.
Alison and Gary are great hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was well provisioned on our arrival with snacks and breakfast sorted out for us. Our Labrador was warmly welcomed too, with treats for her as well.
The beach is a short stroll away and dog friendly too as a bonus. Husky is about a 15 min leisurely walk away. So the location is spot on.
While the cottage is out the back of the main house, you have your own driveway and a privacy screen seperates you as well. There is a sizeable garden area for you or your pooch to enjoy so you do have privacy . Your hosts are up for a chat though if you do so wish.

My partner and I stayed in Ali's bungalow with our 15-month-old puppy. It was fantastic and just what we were looking for. There was plenty of room and so many special touches that made it a great stay. The location is great too - easy walk to the beach and town. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

I don't want to say how good this property was in case it gets booked out. Alison and Gary are the best hosts I've ever come across, they have all your needs met, all the special touches you would not of thought about. They love your fur babies and are great hosts. Beach was probably 300 metres away, located half way between Huskison and Vincentia shops. 6 out of 5 stars

Beautiful little cottage
My partner and I stayed in Alison and Gary's cottage for our 4-year anniversary and it was just lovely. The yard is gorgeous and full of birds and possums, and the yard easily contained our energetic young staffy cross. There is a dog-friendly beach just a five minute walk away! Overall a great experience and excellent value, we'll be going back 😁

Alison is a thoughtful and generous host. The little house is well set up, the yard is great for the dogs, and the location close to beaches and some wonderful walks.
The fridge was stocked with treats + there were dog bowls with a welcoming container of doggie treats + many a container of human treats too! Very thoughtful and extremely generous.
Alison and Gary were welcoming hosts, non-intrusive and ready to make recommendations when asked.
Highly recommend The Bungalow for an escape to the beauty of the south coast.
