Petit cottage proche de la mer, dans un ancien village de pêcheurs. Un peu désuet, mais confortable. Proche de Culloden et d'Inverness. Le village de Nairn est mignon, et la plage, à deux pas, est grande et belle.
4.7
Lovely little cottage with parking, very cosy and comfortable.
4.7
Lovely cottage set in beautiful location. Very clean. Terrific host, we left keys behind and Joyce very kindly posted them on.
4.7
Good location for the beach
Spacious rooms
Really quiet
Information not sent in advance so we didn’t know the location of the cottage, how to get into it, the parking, etc. Joyce was able to share over the phone but make sure you have all of that in advance.
Welcome pack had limited information, instead of a simple step by step guide for the heating you need to find and then read the manufacturer guide.
Asked to strip the beds, that wasn’t mentioned in the description or in recent reviews so be aware of that.

Lovely cottage, cosy and fully equipped. Great location very close to the sea.
4.7
Lovely spacious cottage. Close to beach and local amenities.
Although street is very narrow there is parking straight opposite cottage so not a problem.
4.7
Perfectly situated cottage with parking that was great base for us before the Coast to Coast Race which started just around the corner. The beautiful beach was literally minutes away, as were some great cafes and coffee shops.

Everything, except the central heating, it was cold in the evening and we couldn't get it to work, no instructions.
No heating

The cottage is cosy & comfortable ideally situated close to the beach & centre of Nairn
we have stayed at the cottage on several visits to Nairn
& will return again, fort george & Loch Ness are a short drive
Joyce is friendly & helpful should you need anything

Location is great, 2 mins walk to beach. A couple more minutes into town.
Off street parking was essential as Society Street is exceptionally narrow!
Lots of downstairs space too.
Maybe a fan? Being an old stone built cottage it holds the heat really well lol!
The low ceilings are well sign posted, but really tall folks may struggle a wee bit.
4.7
Lovely place, with everything you would require to make your holiday comfortable.
Location perfect - just a short walk from the beach.
Joyce was very responsive to emails and queries.
Nothing!
My husband & 2 teenage boys are very tall, so they had to be cautious of the lower than usual doorframes. Not a problem if you are average height 😀

Location is great - tricky to find but worth it - such an easy walk to the beach and to restaurants The cottage is very well equipper , new kettle spotless kitchen appliances and great bathroom!!!
Double bed is small and so is the ground floor room and bed - the twin beds are good
not an issue for many but we are quite a tall family so lots of feet poking over the edges!!!
but certainly not an issue overall the cottage is delightful

Seagulls nesting on roof caused us interrupted sleep very noisy

Very quiet area and close to the beach. Tidy property with a little private garden and off street parking.
The shower grout was black in places.

No TV in all rooms for kids

The beach!
No complaints :)

The cottage was beautiful. My husband, friend and I stayed there for 5 days and have a lovely stay. There were two days that we stayed in the house because of the rain. It was lovely.
The doorways were short and the front door was a bit hard for my husband and friend, who are on the bigger side, to get in and out of. Minor inconvience.

The cottage had a lovely feel, well cared for,a home from home.
My husband was a little nervous on the wooden stairs in case he slipped.

Spacious rooms and a stone's throw from the beach. Kids were in awe of the books and DVDs provided. Even thou we brought our own books they opted to read a 'house book'
We loved it so much that the kids have already requested a return longer visit
