Clean, great bar area, perfect location, friendly staff.
Temperature in room on very cool night. Couldn’t control heat. Hotel set temp at 19c. (66F). Made for uneasy rest at night
4.7
Breakfast excellent, bacon to die for yummy.
The personal touch was second to none especially providing TV to watch football game with cosy log fire.
Cleanliness faultless.
Struggling to think.

Spacious room with fabulous sea view in amazing location. We loved the whirlpool bath and four poster bed. The bar, dining room and garden were all beautiful. Short walk to the beach through the garden. Great pizza delivery service for dinner.
We would have preferred tea making facilities in the room rather than the machine in the corridor. Bathrobes would have been appreciated for going out to the corridor to make drinks. Breakfast was very adequate but not outstanding. Fresh fruit or pastries and better quality jams would be nice.
4.7
Really good location right on the beach, lovely views from the breakfast room and all breakfast food well cooked. Would recommend and stay again.
Coffee machine outside our room unfortunately was quite loud and did wake us in the morning as early rising guests used it, no other complaints though.

The property is big, beautiful, clean & tidy! Modern decor with nice personal touches. Views are incredible across the water! Lovely little bar area & breakfast was very nice! Again with incredible views! Really pleased we chose here to stay for the weekend!
We were in the bunker, whatever room was above us was very loud one morning, lots of banging and running around. Apart from that, there is nothing we didn’t like.

Excellent studio apartment. Fully equipped with 2 ring hob, combined microwave oven, large fridge freezer, all the cooking utensils crockery cutlery and glass ware provided. Super king bed tv wifi and a beautiful private patio and private entrance. Along with fabulous gardens to sit in and direct access to beach. Breakfast is included which was lovely and the breakfast room is beautiful with sea views. My husband did not want to come up for breakfast and our wonderful host offered to take a plate down to him. The service and friendliness of the hosts was superb.
Nothing.

It was really pretty and in a stunning location. It was also immaculately clean and the staff were very friendly. There was a lovely honesty bar with views out to sea which was a gorgeous place to hang out.
Very little choice for vegans at breakfast, although the owner had some mushrooms fried up for us specially in oil, instead of butter, so we didn’t starve.
4.7
Gorgeous building in the perfect area with great staff and grounds.
4.7
Invernairne is a spacious detached period property, beautifully and sympathetically presented by the owners.
Nice people with a high quality service ethic.

Very friendly. Much socialising in bar in evening. Staff very organised and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. Hotel very clean.
Could not find anything to be critical of. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The four room suite on the upper floor was perfect for our group size, and a very comfortable set of rooms. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The breakfast was very good. The bar lounge was very cozy spot for an after dinner drink.
The steep stairs.

the owner put a breakfast bag out for me as i had a very early start next day.

Was poor for dietary requirements. Although I only booked the night before. Maybe they would have provided if given notice.
Was an average breakfast.
Loved the old fashioned prunes and grapefruit.
Mattress was very soft for our comfort.
4.7
Wonderful old property with fantastic bar area and buffet breakfast
Bed uncomfortable and pillows flat without alternatives in the room (we stayed in Brodie Room)
4.7
A lovely guest house/hotel which was much larger than anticipated with excellent friendly service. Superb location with lots of parking, a very pretty garden with a pathway straight down to the beach, with a lovely walk straight into the lovely town of Nairn within a few minutes. The communal rooms were really excellent - the lovely light dining room (with fantastic breakfast) was an amazing contrast to the beautifully wood panelled lounge and bar area. Lovely sea views from both rooms.
4.7
everything was first class
absolutely nothing
4.7
Beautiful setting, convenient parking at door, lovely decor
only negative was the lounge setting was so conducive to having an evening fire going but there was none so that was only disappointment. Felt it didn’t promote guests mingling as we experienced other places same type on our trip
4.7
Large spacious room Firthside on the ground floor, Invernaine is also in a lovely area of Nairn. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Special mention for the breakfast chef who made me perfect poached eggs to order every morning of our 4 night stay and was cheery and chirpy about doing it - seems to enjoy his work, which was lovely. The lounge bar is a truly gorgeous space for guests to use - full of character, warmth and colourful touches. We also had fun palying the little putting green every day.
Our room though tastefully decorated was rather drab overall, which became a bit draining. We wished it had some of the character and design touches of the lounge area. We wish too they had been clearer about the beach path being steep and inaccessible for anyone but the very fit. This property is not "on the beach" - it is neaby but actually only overlooks from quite a height above other houses below. Also, for largely holiday guests, the latest breakfast being 9.15am was too late for us and slightly spoiled our relaxation.
