Very relaxing and homey atmosphere.. Jan is lovely

No breakfast but The apartment is lovely clean and comfy. The proximity to the beach is great also walking distance to Speightstown is muy convenient. Surprisingly quiet for a place so close to the road. All in all a great experience and property

Wonderful

Our fridge was stocked with breakfast items upon arrival which was very helpful and convenient. We were greeted warmly by a staff member when we arrived and all through our stay, the owners were frequently present and always accessible for assistance or just conversation! We also enjoyed socializing with the people who were staying in the adjacent apartments. Sungold is a very laid back and friendly place.

Fabulous apartment in a great location, short walk to the beach.

The apartment was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. A large balcony and spacious living area, location was very close to the beach and great connections to other areas of the island, local transport was easy . Fab

The bed in my room in front of the window and no headboard, the pillows were very thick but these were very minor things

The special little hideaway in the heart of Speightown.

I love this property. The owner was a gem. Janlyn was so accommodating as we had missed flights dates change she really help us figure it out and enjoy a great family vacation Anniversary/ Birthday celebration. Lovely place my mother-in-law loved it.

Perfect

Close to our favourite beach and town it was a magical few days. Lovely pool to dip in and keep cool. Apartment was modern, cozy and well equipped. Wonderful honour bar by the pool so you can relax with a drink after a hard day at the beach. All amenities (supermarket, bars, beach and bus terminal) are within a 10-15 minutes walk.

Well equipped apartment. Good location- close to the beach and town. Friendly staff. Good housekeeping.

Apartment was clean and comfortable but felt dated. Pool area could do with more maintenance.

Very pleasant staff, nice rooms, ac works well. Very nice apartment. Overall a really nice experience.

Pool needs to be maintained and cleaned, if you are a couple keep in mind if you pay for two rooms you only get one. Doorknobs lock us in and out a couple times.

Superb hosts, fantastic location, great facilities.

Our whole stay was amazing and much of it was due to Jan, Gary and their family who couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly and helpful. Jan’s recommendations and advice were exceptional. The property is beautiful, clean, comfortable and everything is there for your convenience. The outside area with pool, bbq and shaded seating is a real bonus. We highly recommend Jan and Gary’s apartments. We received the warmest of welcomes and were made to feel like family. It was like home from home and we hope to return in the future.

The apartment certainly worth the money i paid and I’ll stay there again if I go back to Barbados.

First of all, I liked the location. It is just a 5min walk from a beautiful beach. At first we were a bit surprised that the beach was not crowded but then we really appreciated it because we could snorkel from the beach by the pier and see lot of fish and turtles. Other beaches were full of Jetsky and motorboats and as a result nothing to see there really. Second, the apartment was very cute and had everything one needs to cook. The house is located just a short walk from the town and there are tons of places where you can eat and buy groceries if you want to eat at home. The owners are great people. They are very welcoming and helpful.

The a/c in the bedroom was set to a certain temperature. I could not control it. There was only one a/c by the way. The living room didn’t have one. But the lack of the second a/c wasn’t a big problem since we were not in the apartment during the day anyways.

Very good

Gary and Jan were very helpful in accomodating our early check-in and Gary showed us the sights of Speightstown when we arrived.

The property was just over a 10 minutes walk from Speightstown but there was limited accomodation available in the centre.
