This cozy cottage is the perfect location—just a 5 min walk from beautiful Stover’s Point beach! Despite being located near a popular beach, the neighborhood was very quiet throughout the day and night, and the neighbors are very friendly. We loved sitting out on the porch with our dog each day, relaxing to read a book, or enjoying a nice meal in the shade of the big oak tree. Heather was very helpful and responsive to messages. Of note, if you’re planning on using the pullout couch, we’d recommend bringing a mattress topper, but otherwise it was clean, comfy, and cozy. A fabulous spot to enjoy the Maine coast!

We enjoyed our week in this cozy, updated family cottage near the end of Harpswell Neck. The pine floors and interior walls and the many Maine decorations added to the experience. Good bed, kitchen and deck. Fine communication with owners. Pretty, peaceful Stover’s Point Preserve is a short stroll with ice cream, good seafood, good hiking, and Brunswick just a short drive away. Highly recommend for a single or couple wanting a bit of an old timey experience on the midcoast.

The property location was excellent. Quite neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Some suggestions: move the American flag to the other side of the entrance. Where it is located makes it hard to get in and out of the front door.
More than one cast iron fry pan would be helpful for those who want to cook rather than go out to eat every night.
There is no space/closet to store things. Some reconfiguration of the kitchen storage might provide more counter space for coffee maker, microwave, and cabinet space. Other than what noted we loved our stay, love Harpswell, and love Maine!!!!!!

My husband and I love this home in Harpswell--it is in a beautiful, out-of-the-way location: quiet, pet friendly, and with very nice neighbors. The home is small but has everything you need to be comfortable during your stay (including a well equipped kitchen!) There are interesting and delicious restaurants in Harpswell as well as in Brunswick. We are already planning to return next year.

My small dog and I spent most of June at this cottage and really enjoyed the cool temps and daily walks to Stovers Point. Best time to walk was sun up and sun down, fewer people at the point and your dog can be off leash. Highlights were Brunswick Farmers market every Tues and Fri , Erica's Seafood, Giant Stairs and Wild Oats Bakery in Brunswick. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally friendly. The cottage provided all my needs for cooking. Internet was excellent, streamed everything on my tablet. A new mattress would be a nice addition. Really enjoyed our stay, the most relaxed I've been in a long time!

Overall very nice. Not much in the way of TV channel selections and the bedroom and bathroom pretty small. No real storage area for luggage.

I loved the location of this little cottage. The easy walk to Stover's Point with my dog was by far the highlight. And it was a good home base for other adventuring too.
The cottage itself is full of Maine charm but could maybe use a fresh coat of paint and a few other updates. Overall it was cozy and very comfortable to live in for the week.

We loved our stay in this cottage. It is just perfect! Neighbors were friendly and quiet, and it was a walkable area for our pups. There is lots of privacy which we enjoyed. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and nearby restaurants are tasty! We will definitely be back.

This cabin was perfect. I stayed here with my partner and dog, and it's walking distance to a beautiful beach preserve, and in a very quiet neighborhood. The host was extremely communicative and easy to work with. I'd definitely stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Harpswell. The cottage is a short walk from Stovers Beach. Our lab enjoyed playing in the water and we appreciated the beautiful scenery. The cottage itself is small but well equipped for two persons. We hope to stay again next year.

The owners John and Heather were friendly and down to earth. They left their numbers in case we had any issues and there were none. We had a very pleasant stay with our two grandchildren. This little cottage in a quiet neighborhood is the perfect size for two, but a little cramped for four. Still, it met our needs for our budget. The beach was an easy walk around the block. A nice and affordable place to stay.
