This cozy cottage is the perfect location—just a 5 min walk from beautiful Stover’s Point beach! Despite being located near a popular beach, the neighborhood was very quiet throughout the day and night, and the neighbors are very friendly. We loved sitting out on the porch with our dog each day, relaxing to read a book, or enjoying a nice meal in the shade of the big oak tree. Heather was very helpful and responsive to messages. Of note, if you’re planning on using the pullout couch, we’d recommend bringing a mattress topper, but otherwise it was clean, comfy, and cozy. A fabulous spot to enjoy the Maine coast!

We enjoyed our week in this cozy, updated family cottage near the end of Harpswell Neck. The pine floors and interior walls and the many Maine decorations added to the experience. Good bed, kitchen and deck. Fine communication with owners. Pretty, peaceful Stover’s Point Preserve is a short stroll with ice cream, good seafood, good hiking, and Brunswick just a short drive away. Highly recommend for a single or couple wanting a bit of an old timey experience on the midcoast.

The property location was excellent. Quite neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Some suggestions: move the American flag to the other side of the entrance. Where it is located makes it hard to get in and out of the front door. More than one cast iron fry pan would be helpful for those who want to cook rather than go out to eat every night. There is no space/closet to store things. Some reconfiguration of the kitchen storage might provide more counter space for coffee maker, microwave, and cabinet space. Other than what noted we loved our stay, love Harpswell, and love Maine!!!!!!

My husband and I love this home in Harpswell--it is in a beautiful, out-of-the-way location: quiet, pet friendly, and with very nice neighbors. The home is small but has everything you need to be comfortable during your stay (including a well equipped kitchen!) There are interesting and delicious restaurants in Harpswell as well as in Brunswick. We are already planning to return next year.

My small dog and I spent most of June at this cottage and really enjoyed the cool temps and daily walks to Stovers Point. Best time to walk was sun up and sun down, fewer people at the point and your dog can be off leash. Highlights were Brunswick Farmers market every Tues and Fri , Erica's Seafood, Giant Stairs and Wild Oats Bakery in Brunswick. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally friendly. The cottage provided all my needs for cooking. Internet was excellent, streamed everything on my tablet. A new mattress would be a nice addition. Really enjoyed our stay, the most relaxed I've been in a long time!

Overall very nice. Not much in the way of TV channel selections and the bedroom and bathroom pretty small. No real storage area for luggage.
