The breakfast was exquisite! Seasonal fruits were delicious, fresh sweet orange juice, breads, special butter and marmalades plus a variety of main dishes to choose from that had great presentation and very tasteful.
Some maintenance needed for the lock on the entrance door to our room (Filandia).
More illumination or lamp in the shower.
Improvement in the gardening around our terrace area by picking out the dry leaves.
Letting customers know the pebbled terrain so not to bring high heals, instead comfortable flat shoes.

The concept of being disconnected to all. The slow food & the 5 star service.
Breakfast included simply the best
We had some issues with our booked room still this was taken care of.

Everything
Maybe the only negative things was you needed to be careful of privacy... especially in bathroom... Blinds needed to be down at all times in there..

Really nice pool and facilities. You have to get lucky with the staff, some are great (like Paula) and have decent English but others are not so good. The additional trips were fun but did cost quite a lot. The stay and food was good value for money.
The staff that don’t speak English actively avoid you and it’s communication is very hard. Prior to our stay communication over WhatsApp was also very difficult. After we checked out the hotel has also send us multiple bills via email. On checkout I asked many times if we had paid everything and they said yes. Again down to the poor staff that this has happened.

amazing rooms, facilities and location, you literally feel like you’re living in your own slice of jungle, but with a warm shower and a soft bed.
food was very expensive and disappointing for the price. it felt like we were being looked down on by everyone (guests AND staff) for not fitting in with their usual ‘influencer’ clientele

The hotel is far from the main road. It is a very peaceful place surrounded by trees. The hotel is protected by guards so it is definitely safe. There is room service. The staff speaks English very well. They can organize taxis or tours to nearby attractions.
The rooms are in separate small buildings (one or two rooms per building). We shared the building with another suite (room) and our neighbors were listening to terrible music all the time. I could not relax and enjoy nature around me in that noise. The food in the restaurant is not very good. Also because of the location, it is not easy to travel from the hotel to tourist attractions (not all taxis agreed to take us back to the hotel because it was 'too far'). It was raining a bit during our stay and water was all over the floor in our room we asked room service to clean it and they did it very fast. There are no mosquito nets in the windows which is a bit annoying.

Great location. Incredible views. Restaurant was great. Spa and pool beautifully designed, and again with great views (which you get to use after attending a class or if you book a treatment). Recommend booking room with the private hot tub. Stunning furniture in the rooms. Waterfall shower was awesome, with the sides of the room opening up to give great views.
Plenty on offer near the hotel in terms of activities eg coffee plantation tours, hikes into the Cocora valley. The hotel could make it easier to book these e.g. by having them on an app, so that you can browse what’s on offer when you arrive, and then facilitating the booking process. The reception are very knowledgeable about all the options, and they do give you ideas, but in terms of making it easier if you only have limited time, this could be improved.

The Hotel is stunning! The views and the facilities are really nice, I also tried the Spa and had a wonderful massage, food is really good and I can only recommend the cocktails!
Attention to detail! Overall the hotel is really nice and the staff warm and friendly BUT I found that when we encounter any problem the staff was unable to sort it out, their response is to politely excuse themselves and leave it as it is. For example one of our room blackout blinds didn't work and the hotel was unable to sort nor provide an alternative, same with our safe and the AC control (which ran out of batteries and took them over a day to sort). It's those small details that make the difference and can make a hotel just "good" vs "excellent".

Fabulous location, nice gardens. Breakfast is good.
The rooms look good but the only thing separates you from the next room is some metal sheet doors with zero sound proofing, you can hear everything. It is supposed to be a tranquil place to relax but I couldn’t sleep for my 2 nights there. First I had to listen to the crowd partying, shouting and laughing in the room next door, then I had to listen to their drunken snoring all night. The lounge music is very loud at reception, you can hear them in the premium rooms so neither myself or my friend in another room could rest in this place at all.
I ordered dinner, they sent me the wrong thing and they sent it cold.
Ordering drinks at the bar or food from the restaurant is an absolute ordeal, staff does not speak any other languages apart from Spanish. Getting a simple soft drink took 45 minutes both evenings. The rooms are extremely badly lit with only a few mood lights, the shower had no lighting at all. The water was lukewarm at best in the shower. My entrance door was stuck on my room, the handle falling apart. It’s extremely overpriced for what you get, your premium room is really only an over glorified hut.
