An absolutely beautiful property, charming and individual. Also, spotlessly clean so you could settle straight in and relax. The proximity to the market was delightful, so you could make a cup of coffee and sit and watch all stalls and locals shopping. It was lovely to be met by Linda who explained everything so well (in English), and was very kind and available by WhatsApp if we needed anything.
Unfortunately, on two out of the four nights we stayed there was loud music banging out in the street and people partying at the cafe opposite the main bedroom window until 12.30am one night and 12.45am at he other. It was impossible to sleep through. However if you like that sort of thing, it was all great spirited and convivial so I know some people would love it. I was just praying it would stop by 11.00pm/11.30pm!

The apartment is absolutely stunning. It is located right in the market and is surrounded by great restaurants and the historic centre is a short walk away. The apartment is outside the ZTL zone sand there is parking nearby.
Linda was fantastic and so helpful with suggestions of places to eat and visit.
I highly recommend a stay here.

The staff are amazing at Casa Sabir! Incredibly helpful and the nicest people. And the apartment itself is just perfect!
It couldn't have been more perfect!

The apartment is elegant, with very high ceilings and quality appliances. It is on the first floor, next to the morning fruit and vegetable markets of Ortigia, perfect for shopping. Pierpaulo was lovely and very prompt to respond to any questions. He provided suggestions for food and sightseeing. A delicious sandwich shop/deli is a block away on the corner towards the sea and the 5 euro hop on hop off bus leaves from the seawall two blocks away. There is a coffee machine and ground coffee provided, and a washing machine. No teapot, but we made do. Other than that, here was a very good selection of kitchenware supplied.
The noise from the market setting up may bother very light sleepers, but the apartment has double-glazed windows, and most noises are blocked out. And the mattress is very comfortable - best of our trip so far!

The apartment is beautiful. Modern function with a mix classical and contemporary design. Location next to the market is perfect for buying fresh food or just having a wander. All of Ortigia is easily accessible by foot and the rest of Siracusa is just over the bridge. Best of all, the hosts are very welcoming and very helpful with suggestions on how to enjoy the best of Ortigia and Siracusa. Can't wait to go back.
Nothing not to like!

Host was wonderful. He gave us tips on things to see, places to eat, how to get around. Apartment was beautiful with very well equipped kitchen. Fun to cook in with food from the market. Kitchen separates bedrooms for privacy, comfortable beds. The market was a great experience with so much to see and eat. Sandwiches at one end of market were the best! Location above market really added to the experience as well as being easy to access rest of area. Also easy access to bus stop for tours to near by ruins. Island is small enough that all is within comfortable walking distance.
I was not a big fan of the sink in the second bathroom. I kept bumping my head on the spout and could not close the drain when washing my contacts! It did look great though.Directions for using the washer/dryer in english would be helpful.
