Dirty towels were left in washer, couch was dirty, 4 forks in drawer, 3 hangers in entire unit, window blinds were a mess, we checked out as soon as we could. Owner obviously does not care.

The location is great, although hard to find the actual unit since there are 4 main buildings in odd shapes/layout and units on all sides. The buildings aren't well marked and if you're looking at night the only markings are on the doors. I didn't see any signs identifying the buildings or where to walk for certain units. Parking was non-existent on Saturday evening but opened up Sunday evening. Upon checking in there was only 1 key in the lockbox and there was only 1 parking pass (should've been 2). The place is really dated. The dining table is a small, wood, "folding" table that wasn't real sturdy. The kitchen looked to be recently remodeled and was the nicest part of the place. There was only 2 of us so we didn't use the kitchen or the dining table. The living room is a hodgepodge of furniture (the whole place is) that looks like each piece was picked up at a different garage sale. Nothing was grimy or dirty but most things were very cheap looking or feeling. The love seat was good as was a cushioned chair but the futon was setup as a couch and wobbly. No idea what it would be like to sleep on that. There are no paintings or wall hangings...just nails or nail holes where some used to be. The TV was small by today's standards but adequate plus there was full cable which was excellent. There was a balcony with no furniture and like the review above stated the patio doors frost over when it's cold. The view is directly to another building that isn't far. It's easy to see in theirs and for them to see in yours (curtains were there to block views).
The bathroom was clean and nice. A basic counter, shower/tub/curtain setup. The shower rod was hanging at an angle and was hard to straighten since the internals seemed to be rusted. The towel hook on the back of the hollow core door was pulled from door so we couldn't hang anything on it. The door has a round dent/crack on the outside which was across from the one bedroom door that had a huge hole punched in it and a big crack. It looks like someone got mad or in a fight and hit the door and then kicked it in. The venetian blinds were broken with sections missing. A broken lamp was in the closet. There was a single bed, a nightstand and a dresser. All very cheap and mismatched. The other bedroom had a bigger bed and I don't remember the furniture since I didn't sleep in that room.
We rented this last minute since there wasn't anything else available that was reasonable due to the music festival being in town. If budget is your main decision point then this place is clean and acceptable for the location (assuming they fix the damage). If budget isn't your main driver then definitely look elsewhere.

Great location, but demand that they upgrade their furnishings and amenities in the condo! The mattresses were awful. The bedding was dirty. The blinds were shredded so light poured in earlier than we would have liked. The kitchenware was cheap. Single ply toilet paper and very low quality towels. This company should be ashamed of taking money from people and treating them like this.

Comfortable and convenient location.
This property was comfortable. We did have a problem with the TV (only one channel). Took three days to get resolved. Property management did not come when called each day. My husband resolved the problem by using our own Xfinity account to troubleshoot. Location is a walkable distance to base of mountain and is on the bus route. Beware if stairs are an issue, unit is on second floor, no lift and a considerable distance from parking lot.
We enjoyed the environment and short drive to downtown area. There were two moose one day on the grounds outside our unit. Very cool!
Minimum amount of dishes/silverware. Unit is not air conditioned, only slider and two windows could be opened. Very warm when above 90 degrees. Only two box fans provided.
We did enjoy our stay. So beautiful in Steamboat!

Don't plan on a shower!
The place was clean, which was good, but not very welcoming. Access to washer/dryer super helpful. Our biggest complaint was no shower. As soon as the shower got warm enough to get in it would stop. Definitely an inconvenience with a family of 4 trying to get to a baseball tournament every morning. There were lots of fees attached (seemed much higher than others we have stayed in in the same area), so not the best value. I had wondered why it was still available when I booked which was a little late. It is a good location, but we have stayed in much better places in the past.

Feel overpriced for what it is...
Booked the week of Christmas and paid WAY more than this unit was worth.
The location is walking distance to the slopes. The condo is in an old complex and is kind of a maze to get to but they give you good instructions for parking and accessing the unit. Probably not a good rental for someone less than agile.
Master bedroom, comfortable bed with dark curtains in the master. No mattress cover on the bed so the only thing between you and a communal mattress is 50 count, stained sheets. At first I didn't think the sheets had been laundered and asked for replacements. I had to call Vacasa and they called someone local and they said the sheets were clean. There was a brown stain on the sheets that looked like someone had wiped dirty hands across the bedding, very off-putting. Should never have been put on any bed. Vacasa said there should be extra sheets in the closet. The extra sheets fit a full size bed and the master was a queen. Plenty of space to put away your things. A box fan that you can keep on at night because the walls are paper thin and you'll want some constant noise.
Extra bedroom: A teens perspective is that the bed is comfortable without a mattress cover and no curtains so it is super bright in the mornings. It also had a fan in the closet.
The kitchen had anything you could want (unless you're a coffee lover. There was a tiny little coffee maker that had something crusty all in the pot and on the maker.) as far as plates, cups and cooking utensils even had a pizza cutter which was nice.
The living room had plenty of seating. The pullout sofa felt like the springs were slinky's which is pretty normal for a pullout. The sliding glass door must be single pane or maybe this is normal for CO but they would ice over (on the inside) and it is cold for someone on the pull out. The living room had dark curtains too. You'll probably leave those shut the entire time as you are facing about six other apartments' windows.
The bathroom had almost no water pressure but a heater for the bathroom and a couple of towel racks.
A laundry room inside the unit was really great to have.
The carpet seemed clean and the other floors were cleaned well but some things could have used some more attention.
