About this apartment rental
Easy Convenience and Stress Free - A beautiful ground floor unit steps from the pool and the ocean boardwalk; this beautiful ground floor condo is thoughtfully designed to be a romantic retreat for two or a fun spot for the family. Sit on the patio while directly overlooking the pool. The condo is tastefully decorated with beachy décor. The fully equipped kitchen with beautiful granite countertops comes with a drip coffee pot and a Keurig machine. The dining area features an expandable table with barstool seating 6. A stackable washer and dryer makes this condo your home away from home. The primary bedroom comes with a king size bed and private bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen and twin bed that is also a trundle bed! The third bedroom, or the “Crow’s Nest” is perfect adventure for the little ones with one bunk bed and one twin bed. A second bathroom is located off the guest bedroom with hallway access too. There is an electric grill on the patio.
All the condos are equipped with private WIFI and have TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom. We provide initial toilet paper, trash bags, bath soap, and dishwasher powder. Guests are advised to bring supplementary items if needed.
Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool, children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Head indoors to our clubhouse where we have a heated indoor pool, brand new work out room, racquet ball court, and a dry sauna.
The beautiful, white, sandy beaches are just a two-minute walk from buildings 1 and 2 and a three-minute walk from building 3. The beaches are accessible by car with just a short drive north to the Dondanville Road Access.
Only a 15-minute drive away is historic downtown Saint Augustine, where there is no shortage of shopping, dining, or fun activities for people of all ages. Check out the towns many historic attractions or hop on the Trolley’s to see it all on the go! You can purchase tickets to many of Saint Augustine’s attractions here in the office!
Saint Augustine has no shortage of kid friendly entertainment! Check out the Alligator Farm or the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum here on the island or head downtown for the Pirate and Treasure Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum for some good old fashion family fun!

This was our third time staying at Colony Reef. We have stayed in two other condos and this was by far the nicest and most well appointed one. The only real issue we had was the small dining table for a unit that slept 9. Overall, a great stay!

This property is in a great location, just steps away from pool and close to beach walkway. Furniture in the unit was very comfortable and lots of outdoor seating. Only drawbacks were the screen doors both front and back didn't work properly and there were about 6-7 lightbulbs out in the place. Otherwise, I would have given this place a 5-star rating.

The facilities at Colony Reef Club made for an easy and stress-free vacation with the adult kids. Pool was wonderful and hot tub comfortable. 1105 had very nice patio furniture along with an ice cold AC. I’d like to have much better mattress in the master king given its gold status but the coffee maker worked so maybe we broke even.Bottom line——. I’ve stayed in many,many units over the decades but this one is a great ground floor choice.

Unit 1105 was wonderful! Nicely decorated, clean, great location. Colony reef club is also well maintained and is in a great location. My only complaint would be some late night noise. There is security after hours, but I wasn’t sure how to contact them to complain. It was sporadic and not terribly bothersome, but was the night before we left and we were trying to get a good night’s sleep!

The overall experience was fantastic. Location was perfect. Beaches wonderful. Amenities at condo were great for kids. Unit itself adequate but needs some TLC. Bring what you need since condo supplies nothing. We flew in so it was difficult to bring what we needed for beach. Spent unnecessary money on supplies. Then we had to leave it all behind or throw it away.

Cons - listing says newly renovated, property was dated and small.

We had a great time! The amenities were in great condition! My only complaint was the dampness in the condo. Towels and hanging clothes never dried even things that were dry felt wet the next morning. Other than that it was the perfect location with easy beach access and only 15 min from downtown! We had a blast and will definitely be back.

Condo for Feb & Mar. The only disappointing experience was spring break with lots of people monopolizing the hot tub in a not very efficient manner - 10-12 people sitting around the sides makes it very uncomfortable for anyone to get in and out or to even sit and relax. Went on for about a week - more monitoring during this time would be helpful. There's room for everybody but groups sitting there for hours at a time effect everyone else's experience. Can't wait to come back for 2018!

I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the previous reviews but it was incredible. There were plenty of dishes to accommodate our group of 11, a washer and dryer, even small kitchen appliances like a blender and coffee maker. The only thing it needed was more towels! Would absolutely stay again! Indoor heated pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, beach front, and an outdoor pool that is lit up under the water and can be seen from the living room and bedroom

It was my idea of a perfect beach location; a short and easy walk to both the beach and pool that was just right outside our back entrance, and both within view. It was also exquisitely decorated in a relaxing beach theme throughout which played a big part in our decision to rent.

The condo has everything you need from cooking, leftovers, washing and even beach chairs and toys! It accommodates guest well with 6 beds! I love the proximity to the pool and beach. The outdoor furniture was very nice and comfortable as was the living room. Initially, I was disappointed that the cute blue sectional had been replaced with brown leather which isn’t nearly as cute as the photos. Also, the wide angle lens makes the rooms appear larger, but that being said, the place grew on me and was extremely comfortable! The cleaning crew before our arrival left the shower dirty and there were dusty lamps and the floor against the baseboards weren’t completely clean. I’m on the rather clean side, so I just took care of it. I’d stay there again. It was the best family vacation ever with my daughter’s family. Thank you Colony Reef!

Wonderful, this small complex is perfect. The location of the unit was just perfect for my family and young children, hop away from pool and short walk to beach!! We were always drawn to Myrtle, but after this stay we are hooked. The property could use a little TLC, there was broken chair on balcony, and a few odds and ins inside unit that were worn or just needed to be refurbished. Nothing that made our stay less enjoyable!! The unit is great for a family and we had plenty of room to spread out! We will be back for sure!!! If I could have one major negative it would be the boardwalk to the beach!! it is in DIRE need of repair, the decking is very uneven and worn, some gaps were wide enough my 3yr old's foot could slip in, get this fixed and the property will earn 5 stars in my book!

This property is in a great location to the beach access and outdoor pool, we are very glad we chose this unit as we had little ones with us and it made it much easier to come back to the condo quickly. The property was decently cleaned, had to move a dresser to get something dropped, and it was dirty behind it. Bedding, towels and surfaces were all clean. It would have made the trip more convenient if we would have had more than 1 bath towel per person and if beach towels would have been provided. We flew to FL so didn't have the luxury of packing those items. I know salt water/air plays havoc on things close to it, but the master bedroom ceiling fan was extremely loud as was the washing machine. We came specifically for a concert at the amphitheater and the location was great for this, as was our day trip into the town of St Augustine. The location is very central to a lot restaurants and grocery stores also.

Vacation of good. The unit had issues. We thought it was not rented before we came in due too not being that clean. Dust everywhere. Sand on all floors. Bathrooms had hair and lots of mold in tub area. Some Lites weren't working. Along with master ceiling fan. Dishwasher didn't work half the time. Good unit. Just the up keep could have been better. Overall I would stay there again.

Perfect property on ground floor next to pool and easy access to beach. With a multi-generation family stay, the condo suites all ages. Tastefully remodeled and user friendly especially the kids room with bunk beds. The condo even supplied board games, boogie boards and beach chairs. We enjoyed shore fishing on the beach, wonderful restaurants in and around St. Augustine and putt putt golf.

Location of this unit is ideal
Having a ground floor unit steps to the pool and a short walk to the beach was ideal. The pool area was very nice. The unit itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and there were beach chairs and pool toys. The location on A1A was convenient for our activities. We would stay here again.

Great unit- perfect location
Everything was great for our stay at this ground floor unit at Colony Reef. We had everything we needed. They even had beach chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella for the beach. We left 2 zero gravity chairs to add to their offerings. I have hip issues so I can’t sit low to sand. Hopefully others can enjoy. Our only suggestion is the master bed needs replacing. It is to hard!! I think with a better mattress this is a perfect rental unit!

Amazing get a way
Had a great time with the kids and grand kids. Easy access to the pool and beach. Close to shopping and dinning. Would definitely stay again.

Looks can be deceiving
We had to clean once we got there. Fingerprints everywhere.. dust . Sand all over the top of the washing machine. Light in spare bath was not working. Maintenance and an electrician had to come. Toilet banged against wall, maintenance had to come to fix that. Back sliding door would not stay on track. It’s unfortunate when you have to spend time from your vacation waiting on staff to come fix problems... with no compensation from management. Up side ? It’s an excellent location.

Excellent stay and very comfortable condo!
The Colony Reef Club was an ideal location for our spring break. Condo 1105 was very comfortable, very clean and up to date with decor and amenities. Proximity to the pool and beach couldn't be topped, and it's just far enough away from the main action of St. Augustine Beach. The beach was beautiful and plenty of space for all of us to maintain distance. I would highly recommend this property for families.

The trip went Great. Only negative was the pillows in the master and guest bedrooms were terrible. Recommend replacing them. The Kitchen was fully stocked. Furniture in living room was good. Overall Great experience. We will be back.

Easy access to the beach and grassy common area
Great accommodations for a family of 5 and ground floor.
Boogie boards were there however don't count on them just in case. No beach towels. One toilet paper roll per bathroom, no paper towels.
