Tranquil stay in Coupeville

The bed was very comfy. The view and hot tub were outstanding. The neighborhood is tranquil. There are lots of interesting things to do nearby and good restaurants. We will come and stay here again.

Upstairs unit renters were noisy.

Relaxing

It was a cozy den. The hot tub was great. Loved the short walk to the beach .

You could hear everything that was going on upstairs. The fuses box tripped 3 times over the weekend and it was not located where we could get to it. When we arrived the carpet was not vacuumed.

beautiful view

the location and view were awesome. the space was great, comfortable, clean.

the parking situation is very tight, especially for an SUV. Also, there is another unit above this one. and the fact that the people renting it sounded like they were wearing cement shoes, and constantly walked back and forth, back and forth, until 10 pm at night, was disturbing to us, as we are early to bed early to rise people. I sign should be placed in the upper unit alerting people to be considerate of their downstairs neighbors. it was VERY LOUD. V.E.R.Y. L.O.U.D.

Decent for short stay

Overall decent place to stay, mostly clean. They provided a lot of amenities including books and board games.

Parking was difficult and cramped. Listing doesn’t state clearly that the room is at the bottom. They advertise it as a room suitable for 3 guests but the sofa was not very comfortable to sleep on. Throw blankets on the couch had not been properly cleaned, there were stray hairs including some on the towels in the bathroom. The place is overall much older looking than the pictures.

Lovely location. Unable to locate trail to beach.

A couple of large spiders were there to greet us when we entered!

Pleasant

no breakfast, location was fine, everything was fine with one exception, cleanliness

you could make sure that room was cleaner, espeically the couch/sleeper bed and floor, bathroom cabinet, also sheets in closet to be used for sleeper couch where damp, we did locate another set of sheets for sleeper couch, but when we went to make up sleeper couch bed and unfolded it was very dirty, etc. but we located a vacuum cleaner in closet so was able to vacuum up but we shouldn't have to do this, also noticed that area behind/under couch was very dirty with (we noticed b/c you have to move couch to makeup the sleeper couch, also when in the bathroom went to put our toiletries in cabinet and the shelves had not been cleaned so saw remnants of prior guests on shelves, so this then made us question all other areas of the rooms, very disappointed w/cleanliness, espeically considering during this COVID time period and the large cleaning fee we had to pay, I would only recommend this place with reservations on the cleanliness plus not sure why someone would put damp sheets in closet to be used? that's added to our concerns.
