The location and the architecture in general, very wild and jungle!
The service and the facilities were not great, only 2 sup boards and 1 kayak available, breakfast was quite limited, some staff didn't speak english well, the room was not very clean
4.3
Location is fantastic with a very remote feel, but easy to reach by speedboat that the hotel can arrange. The beach is great with white sand and lots of palm trees. Breakfast was perfect, we loved the air-conditioned tents and had an all-round fantastic stay. Would definitely come again. The hotel team were extremely helpful and made the whole experience absolutely enjoyable.
We didn’t love the food options for dinner but there are other resort restaurants within easy walking distance that provide enough options to keep it interesting.
4.3
good location by the beach
too expensive for the services offered- rooms need renovating
food portions ridiculously small and expensive; hotels there take advantage of no alternatives reg food
typical tourist trap

I would say it is the best resort at the specific beach on Koh Rong. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was good but a bit pricey. The rooms have a great style. Very cool Pool area.
- The beach area is not too clean and in general there are a lot of soulless hotels/resorts (Tamu is definitely one of the best)
- WiFi wasn’t working to good as they are using a bunch of different routers without mesh network
- Our room was very dark and had an akward smell. Everything seems to be a bit „old“

staff were incredible and location was perfect
due to the storms the Pierre went on and off a lot.

On the beach which was Amazing! This was a surprise birthday present and it couldn't have been better: we had a free upgrade to a sea front Room and thé staff was so wonderfull on making me a birthday cake and Sing It for me :) All the staff was super friendly, smilley and kind! A place to return to! Thank you!!!

the hotel has a charm of its own, with a beautiful surrounding and offers “ Glamping” at a top level. the staff is extremely helpful.
4.3
We were in Batamo for 4 days and three nights and we just felt like home there. The stay was above expectations and worth every shekel we paid. Power in glamping style at the highest level. The tents are clean and have everything they promised in the booking. We closed with breakfast and the food was delicious, there was a buffet every morning and a dish you could order. The vegetables were fresh and the coffee there was excellent. And the staff was just amazing, pleasant and welcoming. The manager of the place took care from the moment we arrived until the moment we left and even after. She is pleasant, charming and made our vacation better. In conclusion, we enjoyed every moment and we highly recommend it! ❤️

Spectacular effort by the staff, led by the girl at the reception whose name I did not catch, to make the stay memorable!
Great beach
great jungle and wave noises over night ( but... read below )
The concept of tent inside a shack is interesting... for a day. Then less so:
- modest "furniture"
- entering/exiting means scratching the head on the entrance zipper which, I am sure, can not be cleaned properly, so rubbing heads with previous visitors... felt like sleeping on a used pillowcase
- open sky bathroom looks nice but requires bug spray for every visit.
The gorgeous jungle and beach noises were covered in the evening by loud music form a nearby property
We did come in the middle of rain season, but...
- the beach was dirty, paths covered with weeds, many lights not working...
- the food choice was very limited, cooked and delivered on diner, not restaurant level

Best hotel in all of Cambodia’s islands!
The hotel is perfectly located in a beautiful and peaceful beach. Absolutely everything invites the guest to immerse in the relaxing island life.
The tents are spacious, very clean and provided with AC, hairdryer, hats and beach bag among others.
The common areas are very nice, with a large pool area and a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy some really delicious food (big shout out to the chef, she is amazing!). Breakfast is absolutely perfect, with a wide range of à la carte choices as well as a continental buffet.
But what really makes this hotel stand out is the people that work here. All of the staff is very helpful and nice, always with a welcoming smile. They would make your stay here even more perfect.
The stay here was an absolute pleasure, so I highly recommend choosing this hotel for your vacation in paradise.

Tamu is an incredible place to stay on Koh Rong if you’re looking for a calm, private stay with great beach access. The rooms are very comfortable, though of course being in the midst of nature you can expect visits from insects and other wildlife from the neighbouring jungle. The best thing about Tamu: service staff and hospitality was top notch. Even before we arrived, they were so helpful with ensuring we didn’t miss the last ferry to the island, and to get to the beach safely with a large taxi. We rented a scooter from the hotel as well and it was very convenient to explore around the island, especially with the staff always happy to help with directions or advice on getting around. They don’t try to sell you boat trips or equipment as well.
Pagoda beach is occupied only with other resorts, with no minimart or standalone restaurants available.
4.3
Relaxing environment and compared to the other resorts on the same beach we liked the more 'jungle feel' (incl the additional shade). The tent was luxurious and gave and extra dimension compared to a regular hotel room. Food was great as well and staff was helpfull
Don't forget the musquito spray. Pool could be cleaned more often but swimming in sea is nicer anyway(!)

loved how rustic and natural Tamu was. Although the concrete rooms were cheaper, these seemed the better rooms for us! Nina was an amazing help and guided us through our stay. I had her on WhatsApp and she helped me with everything!
The food wasn’t as good as everything else. We hoped to eat lunch and dinner more at Tamu but found it was either really quiet or better quality food elsewhere.

Recliners near beach are good, loads of trees in resort which is quite good , pots for cleaning feet are quite innovative - music is quite nice in restaurant which makes for quite a good ambience
Restaurant staff (guy) was quite unresponsive and discourteous. Buffet options were already limited and on top of it, the items such as milk/bread for the buffet breakfast were often not refilled once they were over. The breakfast time is supposed to be from 7:30 but often it won't be available until 8. Even for lunch and dinner are very limited, even when the hotel was in full occupancy and after first day we had to go to the nearby restaurants so that we do not have to eat the same thing over and over. No one in the staff across the hotel had put on a mask. No covid-19 protocols were being followed at all, which was not the case with the other nearby restaurants such as Anaya and Sweet Dreams where staff was putting on masks. Options for food are much better in Anaya and Sweet Dreams , which are right next to Tamu, on the same beach.
Even though Anaya and Tamu have the same owner and we also stayed in Anaya, everything in Anaya is much more professionally handled and it just seems that the staff in Tamu doesn't care at all.
Washrooms in Tamu were full of cobwebs, which could be easily cleaned. There was lizard poop on one of the towels so we put it on the floor, and went outside. Meanwhile the room cleaning staff came and picked it and placed it back on the shelf for reuse, without even removing the poop. This clearly shows that the room cleaning staff literally does not do any cleaning at all.
We stayed in the Sea view deluxe room - while booking it says that sea view is there but there is just 1% sea view, that too, you have to stand on your toes outside the tent, to find a small teeny tiny portion. If informed so, we would not have booked this room. And on checkin the staff says that the sea view is partial as the trees have grown up , which is funny as trees do not grow in a week. The hotel should clearly mention that the sea view is very partial.

Very nice stay. Room was clean and maintained. Especially hamack before our room was nice place for relaxing. The whole staff is very helpful and kind.
In front of Tamu is probably the most beautiful part of Pagoda beach. They have private part full of greenery and plants which is the only one like that at Pagoda beach.
No fridge at room.

The concept is great, everything was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. The food was also very good, and overall everything the resort provided was really entertaining and high quality. The location is beautiful. Imo, if you order the taxi truck to another location on the island, it’s a fun ride.
Fishing boats can be quite noisy early in the morninh, but we didn’t really mind, the rumbling of the engines can put you back to sleep quite fast again and we were waking up very early anyway to go see the sunrises which are really beautiful. So no real struggle for us.

We stayed in a beach “luxury tent” which was nice and clean but certainly not worth $190USD a night for what you get. Especially so as there is little to do around the resort and absolutely nothing else in the area
The staff were friendly and helpful
They also gave us a bottle of prosecco on arrival which was very nice
Was right off the beach which was pretty but not the best on the island and the speedboat takes you almost directly to the resort its just 200m away
Not good value for money, for $190USD in South East Asia i would have expected luxury and it was just nice-ish
The food was bad, on our fist day i had the chicken fried rice and i had food poisoning the whole next day, not saying it was this but I didn’t really eat any other high risk foods that day nor the day prior to arriving
We ate the free breakfast pancakes which again was 2 very small pancakes one of which I had to sent back because it was cold. Not what you would expect from a $190 room rate
On another occasion we got corn on the cob as a snack which was to salty to finish (and i adore salt)
On our last night we dined there giving the dinner menu a chance, my partner and I got the bolognese which was by some miracle both watery and oily
I wouldn’t come to Koh Rong again because of the lack of activity and entertainment but if I was to come i would probably stay somewhere else

Tamu has the most beautiful location on Pagoda beach. The resort is very well decorated with lots of style. The tents are a nice experience and the bathroom outdoors is super nice . The beach has enough sun beds and shade . Nice pool as well.
The staff is sweet and help you where possible even when there English is not that good all the time.
The restaurant could be better. And there is construction going on on both sides of the resort .
The beach as Tamu and most other resorts on the same strip are kept clean , but the rest of the beach is full of plastic, which is a problem in Cambodia everywhere . Hopefully all the resorts at pagoda can join forces to keep the beach clean in its entirety and not just in front of the resorts . They need to do this on a daily basis and not once or twice a month; just a thought !

Everything was very good. From staff, food, rooms. Only the best for them. We had a really great stay on a nice peacefull resort. Recommendations for everyone!!!
