Some of the facilities, clean room , location, good view
The small tv, bad drinks at the pool bar, jacuzzi not working , poor quality food, broken bathroom light, broken bathtub
8.0 / 10.0
The location, facilities, food & most of all the staff.
Our room 701 was noisy during the night. Not quite sure what or where the noise was coming from, maybe due to the staff access area which near our room.

Excellent , the staffs , the buffet style with varieties of choice, clean , western and Asian culinaries with lots of choiced of pastries and bread too beside Asian food.
The room is spacious with the beach view. Garden and the lay out is beautiful, lots of pictures hang on the wall had told us that once upon a time the hotel was a heritage International hotel and was visited with manny worlds leader..
The air condition seems and old ducting ,which need to be in service. I notice it when I had an allergic on the first night. But it was solved when I asked the front office staff to help me purchasing the claritin tablet for me.I recovered soon , i did not use much Aircondition to minimise this ptoblem.

Beautiful surroundings, an oasis in otherwise devastated Sihanoukville. Lovely, big ocean pool, superb restaurant, large room. Wonderful original '60s style. Great ocean views from room. Superb breakfast.
The bath tub was rather small.

an oasis of peace and beauty hidden away from the ugliness for which Sihanoukville is infamous
it was all good. only improvement could be better local fruit at breakfast and more variety at the Sunset restaurant

beautiful location, large grounds and amazing ocean infinity pool. The villas are beautiful and there were not many guests so staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the complementary buggy service that drove us to a delicious buffet breakfast each morning
the property is under repair, so there is some maintenance work ongoing but has huge potential when the repairs are complete

I have stayed at this hotel several times. Despite needing a facelift, it retains some mid century charm and has beautiful gardens and a lovely beach for a city hotel. It is also a great place to overnight if taking a ferry to Koh Rong since it is so close to the port departure area. The staff are very good and helpful, and the food is good, but not great. The air conditioning in the room worked very well and the infinity pool is nice.
The lighting near my bed was inadequate for reading.
The rooms need to be modernized (more electrical outlets for example) and overall they are looking a little run down.
It would be easy and inexpensive to put the numerous lovely historical photos of the property and its distinguised visitors into new and more protective frames under glass that helps prevent fading by the sun. Right now they look cheap and uncared for, which is a shame, given the interesting and important history.
When we entered our rooms, (with two staff members who helped us with our bags) there was an old room service tray on the floor in front of my room door, and by the next day it had not been picked up. In fact, I took it down myself and gave it to the kitchen.

the location and the surrounding atmosphere
the bathroom and the aircond, spending a 470$ for a poor air conditioner room

Overall, the hotel is very interesting, the staff is great, everything else is like everywhere in Cambodia, decent cleanliness, breakfast is great, the hotel restaurant is good. Beaches and pools flawless. overall, we were satisfied, the architecture of the hotel is very interesting, but it has lost its luster since it opened, but this hotel can still be recommended..

Staff were nice except the staff member that stole money from my locked safe in my room.
Location far from everywhere. Hotel very old and faded. Money was definately stolen from my room. Some of the advertised features of hotel not going.Shuttle to town for example. Very disappointing.

Its not our 1st visit so the Infinity Pool continues to be amazing - though lacking post-COVID menu and service. In general the facilities have deteriated during 2y of COVID and there needs to be a general refresh and repair - especially the pool table.
