Amazing cabin. Beautifully designed with everything you need.

All good (ate elsewhere but available menu looked nice, would like to try whenever I stay again).
Not any great problem but wasn't sure how to speak to proprietors during one-night stay e.g., what's the drill checking out first thing. Able to catch someone in the morning though when they were attending to an ASDA van delivery.

It was all warm and cozy, In the heart of nature, perfect for relaxing from the city

The room was lovely and clean and the bed was super comfortable with lovely bedding
Had a very restful stay. A little noise in the early evening from the rest of the house but this would be unavoidable and certainly not excessive.

Ok bullet points a go go!,
-Location is very cute- very close to local pubs within a very short walking distance
-bedding and bed very comfy!
- fridge in room
- The animals in the garden are wonderful, very cute
i wanted to treat my partner for his birthday at a quiet chill place as he is a teacher and deserves some restbite. They were aware of this as i advised them after booking the room via booking.com
-Rescue dogs downstairs barked at the slightest noise when moving around the room in the morn
-Their cat rested it's cute self on my partners car bonnett, many scratch marks - Whomever replied to my partners message didn't express any real empathy and didn't apologise.. and just said ' naughty cat' and they hoped it would polish out...
- Breakfast is expensive!.. we went to a cafe 10 min walk in the village, very tasty vegetarian breakfast for half the price
-on the last morning i sent a message asking for replenishment of tea and sugar, one hour later i get a response but it was too late as we were leaving to check out- again no apology
- The room was not serviced on our first day!??! - when we returned from our scheduled day trip the bed had not been made, the room and not been swept, hoovered or services wiped down. For the cost of the room I found this V disrespectful.
- no dairy free milk available in the fridge?! - suggest that you provide some in a little jug with cling film on top.. assuming people like black tea and coffee is bad hosting.
-Room cleanliness- Black mould around bedroom window...! and evidence of black mould in the bathroom on the ceiling above the shower. Pretty disgusting that this had not been treated and cleaned considering the money charged for the room.
- shower was looked luxurious but the temperature fluctuated whilst in use
- crack in ceiling over bed which could easily be patched up and repainted over..,
- dressing gown had NOT been cleaned and looked like someone previous had wiped their snot/bogeys on it
- coffee machine didn't work, just gave out hot water when the pod was installed
attention to detail is lacking- they care about animals, and making money.

The breakfast was delicious, we ordered sausage sandwiches to the room and they were cooked perfectly, with really nice bread. The smoothies and juice were great too, super friendly staff brought it up to our room and asked us exactly what time suited us best. Couldn't ask for any more.
Honestly, I can't fault our stay.

Very comfortable room. clear instructions re where it was and how to get in etc
Corridors smelt a bit of dogs. The room didn’t though.

Really nice and warm property, special place to be in, very romantic.
Only thing I'd say could be improved during our visit was the floor could be moped a bit better as after just few steps barefoot our feet were dirty but it didn't look like the floor was dirty which is strange, but this is just a minor thing, you've got all the stuff there to clean it if you want.

Comfortable room. Quiet location. Friendly but unobtrusive owner. Various vegan breakfast options and interesting associated books available to read.
Good shower. Very comfortable mattress. (Meant to ask Jaqui the make)
Liked pretty much everything. Tried fry up breakfast. Very tasty but maybe a little expensive (even accepting ingredients not cheap) - so only had once.

Nothing. I booked a few months ago for me and my family as we were wowed over by the pictures of the log cabin and the animals. We are not vegan, but we are very careful about eating meat infront of vegans and we have a lot of vegan friends. We initially thought we were booking the log cabin as these were the pictures we saw online but we were shown 2 small rooms instead. The animal sanctuary had massive rats running around and we've recorded video evidence of this.
Let me start by saying, I know this is a Vegan retreat but let's not dress it up for what it actually is, which is a dictatorship behind closed doors. I met Jaqui the manager on arriving and informed her that we've bought slices of ham, cheese and some milk for my 6 year old son for breakfast as he is a picky eater due to his autism. This went on deaf ears as the only thing she heard me say was "meat items" and proceeded to lecture me on bringing meat to her rat infested vegan sanctuary, and started sharing her thoughts on how pigs are our friends and how she cried when she saw them getting slaughtered. Ok, that's still fine as she has her own feelings and views and we have ours, let's not tread on each others toes here. I did my duty to inform her of what we have brought with us and the reasons why. We decided not to open the ham slices or the cheese or the milk out of respect for her and just kept the items in the mini fridge just so that they don't go bad as we were booked to stay for two nights.
The following day whilst we were out, I got a text from Jaqui to inform me of how "shocked" she was to find meat and dairy items in the fridge in our room even though i'd told her already. She said she was there to do room service, but in reality she was only there to spy on what we put in the fridge. It was empty on arrival so there was no need to get restocked. She removed my autistic sons food and left it in a bag by the door to rot! This is a violation of our privacy and disgusting behaviour. This is not a dictatorship! I asked her to kindly put the bagged food inside the fridge so it doesn't spoil and she refused. She insisted that I write her a review as she felt she had done nothing wrong. Please tell me what is right about touching peoples private belongings and removing them when you could've just wrote us a note to tell us to get rid of it?

A warm, comfortable place to stay with quirky touches and a great view of the garden and all the animals.
What is not to like?!

Very clean, nice big room, lovely vegan brownie on arrival, lovely space for the animals very nice owners.
The food was tasty but pricey £15 for fry up but you didn't get an awful lot for your money, I also had to text owner to ask for breakfast and wait a while for a response (day 2 we waited 2 hours for breakfast) and pillows were very uncomfortable.

We were upgraded to a massive suite which gave us lots of space and privacy. It was lovely to wake up to meet all the rescue animals they provide homes for. We are not vegans but thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast they provided. We would stay there again.
It was quite pricey though we can understand that it is not a cheap place to maintain.

Brilliant accommodation, great people. Just want we needed, somewhere to relax and recharge our batteries.
