Nicely decorated place; parking obstructed by owners large car & there isn’t a kitchen!

Guest house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The dining room again was presented. A little croissant is left for you on arrival.

I filtered the search on booking.com for a self catering place to stay and chose Rockleaze as it was advertised under this heading however guests have access only to a shared microwave and a mini fridge which is located in a shared dining room. You are advised to leave your rubbish and dishes on the dining table for the owners to collect when they are passing. I appreciate it is summer but my bedroom was cold at night and the duvet was quite thin. Traffic outside of the bedroom at the front of the house was pretty noisy but other rooms may be quieter. The owners park their large car on the drive which sadly makes it very difficult to park your car. I was told to park my car around the back on a main road! Again I specifically selected a guest home with free parking. I sadly shan’t be stopping here again.

Nice hosts, close to Aerospace Bristol

Most friendly hosts. Location just around the corner for visiting the wonderful Aerospace Bristol museum (Concord!) and also for professional visitors of the Aibus company, Rolls Royce and GKN. Still free parking available.

Guesthouse experience

Very clean and organised. Own key so no concern returning from the centre of the city at midnight. Very quiet house and easy to sleep.

Multiple knocks on the door to come in and clean-room before 10am checkout. Our first time in a Guesthouse so not used to this.

Affordable, welcoming stay in Bristol

Great price, friendly and welcoming hosts. Gave me a run down of the area for food and supermarkets. Free parking which made sure I wasn't blocked in. Comfortable bed.

No body wash or shampoo so had to use their hand wash.

What a lovely homely place! Run by such nice couple, very friendly and accommodating. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated, to the smallest details. The wallpapers, bedding, curtains, and the decor - everything has been selected in great taste and with guests' comfort in mind. And it is spotlessly clean! Will stay again, and definitely recommend.

Lovely quiet and comfortable stay

Lovely room and good location for work. Amazing host. Had a nice amount of tea, coffee and milk in the room.

I would have liked some shower gel but that’s only because I forgot to pack my own.

The free parking although this was very limited.

The property listing did not mention that the room had shared toilets and bathrooms. If I had this information I would have stayed elsewhere.

Thank you for a lovely stay.

The owners were friendly, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I slept soundly on a lovely bed. I was upgraded to a double room from a single. In the morning I was treated to a nice coffee and a croissant, It is a hidden gem. Would recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay

Great location, only 20 mins walk to the hospital. Variety of shops like kfc, subway and pub and other dining alternatives. Warm cosy room and hot water for a lovely shower.

Room cosy and was warm, the temp dropped that night, so maybe have a blanket in draw for extra warmth if required.

Friendly reception. Comfortable room. Great value for money and perfect location for me.

I booked a non-en-suite room, however en suite rooms are available. A bit of traffic noise on the road outside might disturb light sleepers.
