Excellent convenient home away from home.

The location was terrific. Only 2 easy blocks to walk to the centre of the town. The use of the washing machine and clothes airer were much appreciated. Heating was very good and easy to use. I also loved having the use of the cooking oil and condiments that were in the cupboard.

I had arranged for an early check in as my ferry docked at midday. I did some grocery shopping. The rain was quite heavy by this time. When I arrived at the accommodation there was noise coming from inside., and the key lock was open already. I knocked and the cleaner came out. She hadn’t been told of my early arrival. I showed her the email confirming my time. She apologised, but asked if I could come back in 20 minutes or so. So I walked round in the rain. But everything else was great.

Good Stay, can recommend for easy going people who don't expect The Ritz

Location and easy access to amenities I can recommend this as nice place to stay, not romantic one though...We had 15 yo with us:):)

Attention to detail with cleaning... clean overall, but room for improvement ... Nothing Major though:)

Terrible

Great location. Close to harbour and town. Parking space a real bonus

Filthy apartment. Bed not changed from previous guest. Utensils dirty. Floors thick in corners with dust and hairs also along skirting boards too. Kitchen floor had food stains. Shower head mouldy. Rusty dirty sink plug. Bathroom sink taps dirty. Bathroom bin not emptied. Had to sleep on sofa bed which was broken covered with a towel which did seem to be clean. Settee broken and covered with extra cushions. Decor very tired I asked for a partial refund but was ignored and the owner then marked my stay through booking.com as if I hadn't turned up at the property so I couldn't complain further through booking.com itself. Absolute rip off. I have lots of photos to show how horrible it was. Luckily only had to stay 2 nights and rest of holiday was amazing. Goodbye booking.com

Left early, never going back

Kitchen was well stocked. Quiet and good location

Apartment is on street level so no privacy. It seems like an old apartment. Dated. Place smelled odd and it was hard to breathe in there. Do not recommend for people with lung issues etc. We suspect mold issue but we are not sure. I had a rash on my body the next day. Floors were dirty (clean socks got dark very fast). Very tiny place. Do not understand some calling it spacious in the reviews. Sofas need a clean and so do the pillows. They smelled. The whole place needs a lot of TLC. We were booked for 3 people but no beddings for the sofabed. Bedroom linens were dirty- visibly!!! Also the cupboard door was broken and there were holes in sofa blankets etc. We left early after the first night altaugh booked for 2 nights. Worst accommodation experience ever.

Location terrific.

The hosts were great. Great communication about the apartment before and when we arrived. Had a couple of issues and they were fixed straight away with no problems. The location is second to none. A 5 minute walk and your at the ferries, the train, the bus, Tesco, Aldi and Lidle and in the centre of Oban. You can’t beat it. We had parking but on the weekend it filled up and we did have to park outside but lucky it was late so we did not have to pay for parking. The kitchen had everything we needed with a washing machine. There was an iron and ironing board. A big deep bath was appreciated.

It was very small. We had to leave our luggage in the sitting room as us and the luggage could not fit in the bedroom. We also had to leave our toiletries in the kitchen as no shelving in the bathroom. The bathroom needs better venting as after a few days it started to smell (no window). We turned the oven on to preheat and when we opened the oven door the unit filled with smoke setting off both smoke alarms. We did not use it again. As with the other comments it was very dusty especially on the skirting boards and under furniture. No view at all. Photos of outside attached. It is a very warm unit but not much natural light gets in. I don’t think it was worth what we paid but in saying that our exchange rate is very bad.

Great location & host!

Enjoyed our stay here very much. The location was so convenient & quiet, the apartment was comfortable & it was great to have a washer & a little kitchen. Such an easy walk to the Ferry Port & the town, it’s a perfect place to stay for a couple. The host was very helpful & quick to respond to questions.

Good base for exploring Oban. Walking distance to lots of shops, cafes & ferry terminal.

Great location and nice flat if you are needing a base in Oban near to the ferry. Good secure parking. Tea/coffee/milk provided. Shower was great. Perfect for 1 adult 2 young kids.

Feel it could have been a bit more clean, dust seemed to gather in places. Sofa bed is not the most comfy. The blinds in the living room aren’t great for the guest sleeping on the sofa bed, not black out (my child was a bit uneasy) Maybe needs a little TLC for the price.

Good place but needs some TLC

kitchen was good and it was super clean and bedding was clean as well and also nice location!

The general conduction could be improved like putting in a dishwasher and putting up new blinds for warmth also get and new bathroom with walk in shower and make it wet room also a new sofa bed.

Great location and apartment with all necessary inclusions for a comfortable stay.

Location was wonderful. walking distance to town. Kitchen well stocked with all the basics.

As an asthmatic there were too many dust collection soft furnishings like fluffy cushions and shaggy floor mats. If any money were to be spend on the apartment I would start with a new mattress.

Very good

The owner left some milk and sugar etc which was very kind and convenient as we only stayed one night and would have bought our own otherwise:) Apartment was clean and in a good location as it is close to the town centre. They also left very helpful instructions and a folder with things to do!

We couldn’t get the fireplace to work which was the only thing.

A nice choice to stay in Oban. Better for two people than three. Good value. Recommended.

Truly great location. Walkable to anywhere in the city within minutes. Cute decor, well stocked. Parking onsite or nearby. Fair price. Excellent communication from host.

Pullout was really uncomfortable, so much so I ended up sleeping there instead of our daughter. Pretty tight for three people.

Disappointing

It was close to town and the ferry.

For the price, compared to other places we have stayed, we were disappointed! It said it was wheel chair friendly! But I struggled and I use a crutch. In cupboards and under furniture was not overly clean.

Great location, in centre of Oban. 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Shower good quality and powerful. Kitchen area nice. Only stayed one night and it did the job perfectly. Reasonable price.

Sofa bed not overly comfortable. Flat a bit damp too.
