We loved this spacious, spotless, and beautiful cottage! It is a great location between Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The host had great communication with me. The layout is perfect for a big family, and the downstairs rec area was super. Lovely decor, quiet road, and a beautiful patio all added up to a great stay for us. We also loved Lake Ann town. Cute coffee shop and microbrewery.

This was our third stay at this wonderful house that has become a home away from home when we are vacationing in Michigan. We have had a very good and consistent experience over four years and three stays. Teresa is a good communicator and has been very easy to work with! It probably goes without saying at this point, but we will be staying here again.

Family gathered from Virginia and Indiana for Interlochen Center for the Arts graduation the
The house comfortably accommodated 13 people the two oldest are 78 and the two youngest are 9. The kitchen was well equipped and the fire pit was a hit! The house was chosen mainly for its location. It is reasonable distances from Interlochen-Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes

The Evergreen Cottage is a beautiful home in a very private setting just minutes from downtown Traverse City. It is a great location to explore all of NW Michigan, and also a quiet, out-of-the-way place to enjoy with your group. The home itself is very clean, well maintained, and provides many of the basic household and kitchen necessities allowing you to prepare meals at home and spend time together. We are a family of five, but there was plenty of beds & space for 5-7 more people. We had stopped to get some basic essentials on the way from the airport to discover that they were already provided. Our kids loved the gameroom downstairs, and we apprecited all of the toys/sleds that were provided for all to use. We were visiting from Florida with the hope of a snow-filled vacation. Although the weather didn’t fully cooperate, the house got more snow than almost all of the places we visited, including Boyne Mountain. We weren't able to do many of the activities we had planned because there wasn't enough snow. However, the location of the house was perfect because we could drive 20-30 minutes in any direction and find plenty to keep us busy. Take note that many local attractions and businesses shut down from Christmas through early April, which did further limit some of our plans. We had a very minor issue arise during our stay, and Craig and Theresa graciously took care of it immediately. All in all, it's a beautiful home and area that we wouldn't hesitate to visit again!

Our family was celebrating my husbands 75th Birthday.
The house was great for our family, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Each family had a bathroom to use so know waiting to get your turn. We were gone most of the day, everything was round 20 minutes away. We came back made dinner and sat out around the fire.
I would recommend this house to anyone.

We took our daughter and her two girls on a family vacation. Visited a number of areas and had a great time. House was perfect for the 5 of us and well done. Out in the country so quiet and nice surroundings. The trade off is that you have to be prepared to drive a bit to get anywhere. We would definitely stay again.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this home- truly spotless! Also appreciated the extra kitchen items to prepare food, and wash dishes and clothes as needed. It is a wonderfully private setting yet very easy to explore Sleeping Bear/Glen Arbor/Traverse City. The Lake Ann Grocery is very close by and has most anything you might need. Great Stay!

We have stayed at many VRBO homes over the years and this was by far the best home we have stayed in. The home was spotless and beautifully maintained and decorated. The lower level was perfect for our younger adult guests who stayed up late at night. The kitchen had every imaginable thing you may need to prepare a basic to fancy meal. The owners thought of everything travelers may need when preparing this home to make guests as comfortable as possible. The fire pit in the very private backyard was a big hit after long days of activities. We will be back!

We were so lucky to find this property just a few weeks before the holidays. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Our family of four traveled with our friends (family of 3.) The layout was perfect for us, with enough room for all of us to play games at the kitchen table and plenty of space for us to all spread out with the 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks again for sharing your home with us!

This home is pretty, well-cared for, nicely furnished, very clean, comfortable and well-stocked with items, such as kitchen gadgets, linens and warm blankets, plenty of games for all ages, magazines and brochures of the surrounding area, croquet and yard games, and more. We appreciated the fire pit, patio set, fireplace and comfortable beds. It’s in a great spot, close to Traverse City, Frankfort, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor and other small towns. The owner, Teresa, responds quickly to messages and was warm and friendly in her communications. We definitely will come back!

This is an excellent property and we plan to use it again in the future. The owners were very pleasant and quickly responsive to our communications. The house is wonderful, in a quiet and remote location with nearly everything that you could need to be comfortable and happy.
It's not too far away from T.C., but pleasantly secluded.
Be warned, however! Absolutely no reflection on the house or the owners, but the road on which it is located is awful! It is a dirt road (not a problem for us) but badly wash-boarded and extremely rough. It came as quite a jolting shock to us as we arrived in the dark after a long day of traveling.
Hopefully this condition will become better in the future.
Regardless, we highly recommend! Thank you!

Well appointed accommodations, very clean and comfortable. Fall colors were starting and it gave the property a special feel. Beautiful setting and nature all around. We were in town for our son's wedding and very happy will the property. It was a great place to relax and get ready for our special event. Thank you for being accommodating to our needs and sharing your awesome home.

This property is everything that is in the listing and more! It is fresh and new and a very well kept property with all the supplies you could ever need. It is out in the country and therefore, quiet and secluded but only 10-20 minutes from just about everything. It is a great base to work from for Sleeping Bear Dunes, from either wine trail or downtown Traverse City. If you just want to hang at the house, there are plenty of games and foosball too!

Overall this property was a good fit for my family.. location to traverse was 15 minutes.. we traveled a lot of places general drive time to pennisulas, sleeping bear , Leland, Frankfort was 30 minutes.. If busy city life is what you want this is a quiet/remote place around lake Ann.. The house had all the items needed.. family like the fooseball table.. sleeps 10 - 12 size age dependent. WiFi and cable was good no issues. As I shared already the back patio could use a bit of TLC .. grill worked no issues. Overall the stay was good for our family and visiting Michigan first time .

Perfect weekend get away.
Had a wonderful stay! We have a group of 10 per house (We rented 2 on the property), with PLENTY of space and bathrooms to accommodate us. The houses were spotless, beds were comfortable, property was beautiful, even in the dead of winter! Location was great - can get to Crystal Mountain, Traverse City, and Maple City for curling under 30 minutes in all directions. We rented a second house owned by the same people, and they were just a short walk through the woods, allowing us to visit easily with our friends. Would highly recommend.

Thanksgiving vacation
This property was very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The only minor suggestion I have is to list that one of the bedrooms and bathrooms is downstairs in the finished basement. I did not see that in the description. We had an older single guest on oxygen and the stairs were difficult although she still loved the set up. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great Stay in Traverse City Area!
This property is an excellent oasis when visiting the TC, Sleeping Bear Dunes and surrounding area. The house is very nice, super clean and well-stocked. The kids loved the woods and the fire pit, and the TV and WiFi provided all we needed for a fall football Saturday. When we had questions, Theresa responded immediately. Highly recommend!!
