The apartment felt like home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, everything we wanted to do was about 5 minutes away. The stairs up to the 3rd floor are narrow, but structurally sound. We had a great time and would recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit Portland Maine!

I booked this apartment for a few days while my kid was at camp. I wanted something relaxing and quiet, but not too far from things. The apartment could not have been cuter! It was spotless! And the natural light was amazing! The host had thought of everything and it felt more like staying at a friend’s place! I was able to walk to breweries, coffee shops, and amazing restaurants! The next time I’m in Portland, I hope it’s available again!

The house is very cute with an amazing little porch, and the location was great. Walking distance to anything you need. Only wish we had planned to stay longer in Portland.
The last batch of stairs are very steep as mentioned in the description with no landing at the top but ultimately it is a small issue for an otherwise wonderful stay.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The apartment was close to area eateries, breweries, wineries and beaches/parks. We were passing through for one night on our way to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

My fiancé and I came to Portland to celebrate an anniversary and explore a little bit. The apartment was adorable and as expected. The deck is such a lovely bonus! The stairs were in fact quite steep, but for just the two of us we didn’t mind for such a wonderful neighborhood to stay in.

This is a lovely little apartment, and we were very comfortable. I agree with the owner’s statement about the steps being steep; there is no landing at the top of these steps. We brought smaller bags, and that helped! I wouldn’t attempt this with a baby or a toddler. Everybody else: enjoy!

This was such a cute space to stay! My partner and I enjoyed our stay. Close to many great places in Portland. Plenty of street parking. Host was very communicative and left great instructions for our stay. Very easy!

I stayed with my partner and family member. The apartment was very comfortable for us including the twin cot. It was super easy to find the place and was in a great neighborhood.

Simple, clean, cozy. No frills but affordable. Communication with property manager was great and getting in and out was a breeze. Be mindful there are multiple flights of stairs to access this apartment, the last one being rather narrow and steep. There's really great light in the apartment due to a couple skylights, sliding glass doors, etc. The bedroom light in the morning was bright and beautiful which i loved though there were curtains and blinds if you like to sleep in. Reminder there is NO cooktop/stove/single plug in burner/etc. Theres a tiny toaster oven and microwave so you're cooking options are limited (but plenty of restaurants!). But there's a full sized fridge which was perfect for beer purchases at all the local breweries. Within walking distance to downtown for us, about a 1 to 1.5 miles depending on where youre going, but for some this would be too far especially in winter. Expectations for cleaning up before we left were very reasonable items like doing the dishes and taking the trash out. Parking was a non issue, plenty of street parking in front of building. Easy.

Our stay was the easiest I’ve had in a while. Jennifer had everything organized and easily accessible. She had sweet touches like bathrobes, tea, and chocolates. I highly recommend anyone stay here!

What a nice, clean apartment in a great location in Portland. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

Our overnight stay was lovely. Guests should be aware of very steep stair configuration to enter unit.

I was staying in the area for a workshop, and this was the ideal location! The stairs were steep as described, but I planned ahead and brought a small suitcase with additional clothing stored in my car.

This place is super cute, a little hard to walk up the stairs as it is a 3rd floor apartment and the stairs are steep. Other than that fansatic

We really enjoyed our time in the Munjoy Hills neighborhood. The room was very clean and perfect for 2 adults. The location is close to all the main attractions in Portland especially if you are in to visiting new taprooms because there are several near by. The Lobster Rolls at Eventide are awesome!

Convenient location to Old Port pretty easy walk. Comfortable space for a couple nights. Stairs are no joke. Parking easy. Grab a light bag for the stairs.

Appreciated the clear directions posted around the apt. We had a great time!

Very comfortable place. Liked the balcony and view. The stairs were accurately described but one must be capable of going of steep stairs to third floor and carrying luggage up.
Would stay again

Super cute attic apartment with bay view - we loved it!

My husband and I went to Maine for our baby moon and anniversary getaway. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and the neighborhood was so quiet, calm, and felt very safe. We were very close to a park and were able to walk to Commercial street easily even though I’m 6.5 months pregnant. Like all of the other reviewers have stated, that flight of stairs that lead directly into the apartment are very steep but there’s a rail that helped me feel secure when going in and out. Just hold on and take your time!

Close to lots of stuff to do. Steps into apartment are very steep and narrow, so might be difficult for some. Our stay was great, highly recommend!

We had a great short stay at the property. It was in a great location and check-in was very easy.

The apartment was very clean and cute! It was in a good location for walking into town. It was perfect for healthy adults. The stairs are a little steep and ceilings are angled (attic). We did okay for fifty something.

This was the perfect place for us! Immaculate and Jennifer was on top of communication! Wish we had more time there.

Space had required necessities but decor was not to our liking. Too many “little things” all over the place And then there’s the ridiculously steep stairs with no landing. I would not recommend.

Super clean, cute and convenient apartment in Portland. Our needs were simple so it had everything. My husband is tall, so unfortunately he did hit his head a few times on the attic ceiling but he got used to it! We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Cute apartment in great location! Very steep stairs to the third floor, but if this doesn't bother you that is the only downside of this place.

This 3rd floor attic space is nicely renovated and clean. The main bed was very comfortable. The cot less so. The bathroom and kitchenette were nice. Jennifer, the owner/manager was helpful and friendly. There were several challenges that we didn't anticipate. 1)The portable floor AC was totally inadequate for a boiling hot attic space during a heat wave. 2) the front door combination lock was difficult to navigate and I was locked out of the property one night for a half hour until Jennifer came and got me in. 3) The stairs to the 3rd floor are VERY steep and felt dangerous to both ascend and descend. They would never pass modern building codes or fire codes.

We needed a place to stay overnight before driving up to Acadia and this place for the bill. Comfortable bed in the bedroom + the owner set up a folding bed and really nice air bed for our teens in the living room. It was an unusually warm day in Portland but with the windows and skylights open + fans & portable AC, we were all really comfortable. Although we didn’t take advantage of it, the cozy kitchenette would have worked well for prepping breakfast. Instead we asked to a charming coffee shop nearby where we had a delicious breakfast. Our walk took us by so many lovely historic homes with beautiful gardens. I wish we had longer to explore. One note of caution is that the stairs to the 3rd floor are very steep and not for the faint of heart. We managed them with no problem but I could imagine it might be tough for others.

The neighborhood is beautiful and the space is lovely but it was a little hard to get up the stairs and there is no cental air. The listing says the last few steps are steep, but it was really difficult when carrying bags especially because there was not a landing. It cooled down overnight with all of the fans and the beds and couch were very comfortable. Everything was very clean and it provided a lot of amenities
