Sam and Daisy were the best host anyone could ask for. Daisy greeted us at the car as soon as we arrived and was the sweetest dog. Sam was an amazing host and had fantastic recommendations for our stay in Portland. All of his recommendations were outstanding and did not disappoint. The place was clean and had everything we could’ve needed. In a nice quiet residential area. We would definitely book with Sam and Daisy again when we come to Portland again.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Daisy the dog and entered the apartment to see a fresh bouquet of flowers on the counter!! The apartment had everything we needed and is conveniently located to all we wanted to do.

Sam and his dog, Daisy were gracious hosts. They greeted us upon our arrival and welcomed us to our home away from home. Daisy loves people and we enjoyed loving on her during our stay. Sam was very accommodating with our requests. making our stay enjoyable. He had printed information on the table concerning how to use things in the apartment and other local information that might be helpful. Enjoyed having the w/d in the apartment as well. Location was easy access to interstate and sites around Portland. Apartment was as presented in the listing. Highly recommend.

Everything was great and the property owner was friendly and gracious. He went above and beyond with everything. If I come back to Portland I woulda stay there again. The location was fantastic...only about five minutes from the airport...and close to many other things. Highly recommend for two people!

We had a very enjoyable stay in Sam's studio. Sam was kind enough to provide us with a cot, which allowed 4 girls to fit comfortably. The pull out couch was not very comfortable, but it was doable for a long weekend stay. Sam was an amazing host who gave great recommendations. We really appreciated his hospitality, especially the coffee he provided! His beautiful dog Daisy stole our hearts! Great location, only about 10 min drive to downtown Portland. Thank you!

We loved our stay. Sam always gave us the best recommendations for family friendly activities. Daisy was always waiting for us and absolutely loves children. The place was clean and more spacious than I expected from the pictures. The location was a quiet residential neighborhood that was about 20-30 minutes from everything fun to do. This was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone. My daughter already misses Daisy and talks about her multiple times each day.

Nice studio
Great, cute studio apartment above the homeowner’s garage with a convenient nearby parking space. The location is quiet, with nearby trails to hike, easy access to downtown Portland and main throughways nearby to easily drive to other neighboring communities. The studio is equipped with the basics for a stay away from home (we bought basic seasoning and spray oil). The Keurig coffee maker (with pods), washing machine & dryer (with detergent), wi-fi &TV, welcome note with important information and reminders, and closet with hangers & drawers for clothes were greatly appreciated. We met Daisy the night before we checked out - a very friendly, people loving dog who greeted us when we were outside. The only area that could be improved upon was the mattress. It showed much use and when the two of us lay down, we rolled or slid to the center. Sam asked for suggestions so we let him know and he assured us it would be replaced. Overall positive experience and nice place for the two of us to stay while exploring Maine.

Nice place, close to everything.
The owner is very nice and helpful and his dog Daisy is adorable. The location is very close to the airport and about 10 min from the old port area. The couch bed isn't the most comfortable but the bed is. I would stay again.

Great place to stay in Portland!
The studio was spacious and well-furnished for my family of four. Sam was very accommodating as we booked his apartment for a last-minute trip to Portland. It’s in a great location and close to all of the great places that Southern Maine has to offer.

Fantastic location in quiet neighborhood, short drive to downtown
So glad we had the opportunity to stay at Sam's place! His dog, Daisy, was an added bonus. The location can't be beat, it's located behind Sam's house above the detached garage, in a quiet neighborhood. It was a short (10-15 min) drive to downtown Portland to explore the city. Sam was a great host, very helpful with recommendations. The flat itself was clean and well-equipped. Would be great for a a couple, or a family with kids as the sofa is a sleeper sofa. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the bed, as it sags a bit in the middle and we found ourselves rolling inward!

Clean, comfortable apartment in quiet Portland neighborhood
This clean, attractive studio apartment (private, on top of a garage) had everything we needed for our 4-night Portland stay: a quiet neighborhood, off-street parking, nearby walking trails, and a welcoming and helpful landlord. I have only good things to say about this comfortable VRBO and highly recommend it. Daisy the dog was fun to pet and added to the charm!

Delightful Stay Close to Everythu
My partner stayed here 3 nights. Very spacious studio with all the essentials and even A/C which was great as there was a heat wave. Sam, the owner, was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Is very cute Bernese dog Julia was a lot of fun too.
The neighborhood is close to everything, and very quiet. There are several hiking trails near the property that are great for walking and running. The house is also minutes from the Back Cove Trail which has an excellent running trail.
We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

A Must in Portland
Absolutely wonderful stay at Nasons Corner. All future VRBOs and hotels will be judged against it. Place was spacious, clean, and felt like home. Sam was a wonderful host, with a fire going most nights if we wanted to partake (we did one night and it was very enjoyable). The real star, though, was Daisy, his Bernese Mountain Dog. If you love dogs, Nasons Corner gets six stars. Daisy loves pets and being friendly and it was an absolute joy to return after a day of exploring Portland to see her and pet her. If we ever return to Portland we will definitely stay at Sam's Nasons Corner again. Highest recommendation.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our first vacation together at Sam’s place. It was clean and warm and wonderful. Sam and His puppy Daisy made us feel welcome and happy. Sam have us plenty of advice on places to go and things to do and his suggestions we always spot on. We are thinking of coming back some time next year to enjoy Maine again and we know we will stay here again.

We enjoyed the apartment. It was clean, and even had a washer dyer combo with was good for us because we were reavelingmby motorcycle and the riding weather was hot and humid.

The peaceful landing we needed.
Our vacation was a busy one - traveling from Maryland to New York to Maine and back to New York - but it was with Sam in Portland where we felt we could catch our breath. The space was clean and immediately comforting. Sam was accommodating and generous with his time. The apartment was a cozy home-away-from-home while visiting family. Thank you, Sam!

Perfect for us!
Everything was ideal for our visit. We had plenty of room, the kitchen was well equipped, we had plenty of room for clothes, etc. Sam was always available and loved his dog! Will stay there again when we return to Portland.

The space was on the smaller side but never once did it feel too small or cramped. It was just the right amount of space for two travelers. Clean, bright, and it has a coffee maker. I could live in this space, alone. I also appreciated the heat/cooling system and gas range. Sam is helpful and friendly, willing to help with ideas of what to do next in Portland or lend you his camp chairs or anything else you may need I am sure. His dog is beautiful, very friendly and will greet you by walking between your legs and asking for pets.:) Overall my friend and I have no real complaints about this VRBO. The one thing that isn't even really a complaint is that the garage door closing/opening startled me multiple times, but it truly was no big deal and did not happen more than you would expect. There is even horse shoes/stakes set up on site to use, and that was fun too! I would definitely use this vrbo again if I was traveling to this area.

Portland getaway
If you are looking for a “home away from home” getaway this is the perfect place. Nicely decorated studio with kitchen, w/d, comfortable bed, tv, private parking and use of grills. 10 minutes to downtown Portland or Thompson Point. Sam is a gracious host who is extremely helpful with tips about the area and local restaurants. It was nice to be able cook some meals at home to save some money on our trip.We enjoyed meeting his beautiful and friendly Burmese Luccia. The price was right too! Thank you for sharing your apartment Sam!

Clean, cozy, convenient. Perfect in all ways.
We could not have asked for a better place to stay or a better host for our first trip to Maine. Sam is gracious and generous, helpful and kind. I never write reviews on anything but Sam deserves the good press. We could go on and on but to say it was a perfect way to spend a week in Maine is not an exaggeration. When, not if, we go back, we'll be staying there again.

A very cozy and clean place in a quiet neighborhood. Very easy to get to Portland.
A very attentive owner and the location made for a relaxing and fun vacation. Most of the places we visited were within a 15 minute drive. Lots of shopping and nice restaurants in downtown Portland and Kennebunkport was easy to get and worth a visit.

Very nice apartment and very well stocked with everything you need.
We had an excellent time exploring Portland and the surrounding area while staying at this property. It's located in a neghnorhood that's quiet and laid back but just a quick drive or an Uber to downtown and it's a 5 minute drive to the airport which is a huge plus. Sam was an excellent host and provided us with a ton of useful info. I would certainly recommend this property and would stay here again.
