About this house rental

Come relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country in our 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom farmhouse. The property is a fourth-generation working hazelnut orchard, and while it's been upgraded with just the right amount of modern touches, it's retained all the warmth and coziness of grandma's farmhouse. Rest up in one of two bedrooms on the main floor, test out the binoculars and watch birds enjoy the garden from the large living room window, curl up and read a book next to the gas fireplace, or host a family dinner in the dining room. There's plenty of space for your group too, with two additional bedrooms and a half-bath upstairs, as well as a playroom for kids (or adults!) to relive their glory N64 days. Guests are also able to use the lounge/TV space in the garage. But you won't be spending all your time indoors, as you'll have access to the back deck/patio area (great for BBQs), basketball hoop, and 40 acres of hazelnut trees (that make for a stunning sunset stroll). Pets love the farm, too! And we love when they visit, but we always recommend they're kept on a leash when outside, as the property isn't fenced in.

We came up for The Mount Angel Oktoberfest at the behest of my 87-year-old German grandmother, who had the time of her life! We were so appreciative of our quiet, somehow equally spacious, and cozy home-base. The farmhouse was so charming, nostalgic, and peaceful. It contained everything we needed and fit our family perfectly. We are very thankful to have had such a lovely place to stay.

We chose our stay due to the proximity of a yoga retreat we were attending only 10 minutes away and it was perfect. Close enough that we could go back and forth at lunch and far away enough to get a new perspective on the surroundings. The house was as described. Cozy, charming, and comfortable for 6 guests to have their own sleeping areas. I wasn’t sure about staying on a “working farm” but there was never any disturbance and the shared driveway still felt private. I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed here at the farmhouse because it was close to my son’s wedding venue and they excepted dogs. It is a nice property and the house is an old farmhouse but that’s the charm. The only negative thing is the upstairs only has one bathroom with two bedrooms and you have to walk through a bedroom to get to bathroom. I know old houses were built like that. Just something to consider. The other thing they need to upgrade is the mattress's very old and uncomfortable. For a house that says 10 people there is not enough furniture in main living room. You need a sectional couch. The kitchen was stocked very well and good size as the dining room. The backyard is nice for barbecue. I love the goats. But they need to tell you the top wire is electrical just a warning, it really is a good place to stay with a large family. Beautiful scenery. Thank you for allowing our dogs and family to visit.

We could not have found a more perfect place to stay and prepare for our daughter's wedding. Anthony and Bari were AMAZING! they answered all our questions and made our stay so comfortable. The property was perfect, everyone felt relaxed and had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking the hazelnut farm, playing outdoor games, and visiting the sweetest goats. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful place. Thank you!
