About this house rental
Come relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country in our 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom farmhouse. The property is a fourth-generation working hazelnut orchard, and while it's been upgraded with just the right amount of modern touches, it's retained all the warmth and coziness of grandma's farmhouse. Rest up in one of two bedrooms on the main floor, test out the binoculars and watch birds enjoy the garden from the large living room window, curl up and read a book next to the gas fireplace, or host a family dinner in the dining room. There's plenty of space for your group too, with two additional bedrooms and a half-bath upstairs, as well as a playroom for kids (or adults!) to relive their glory N64 days. Guests are also able to use the lounge/TV space in the garage. But you won't be spending all your time indoors, as you'll have access to the back deck/patio area (great for BBQs), basketball hoop, and 40 acres of hazelnut trees (that make for a stunning sunset stroll). Pets love the farm, too! And we love when they visit, but we always recommend they're kept on a leash when outside, as the property isn't fenced in.

We came up for The Mount Angel Oktoberfest at the behest of my 87-year-old German grandmother, who had the time of her life!
We were so appreciative of our quiet, somehow equally spacious, and cozy home-base.
The farmhouse was so charming, nostalgic, and peaceful. It contained everything we needed and fit our family perfectly. We are very thankful to have had such a lovely place to stay.

We chose our stay due to the proximity of a yoga retreat we were attending only 10 minutes away and it was perfect. Close enough that we could go back and forth at lunch and far away enough to get a new perspective on the surroundings. The house was as described. Cozy, charming, and comfortable for 6 guests to have their own sleeping areas. I wasn’t sure about staying on a “working farm” but there was never any disturbance and the shared driveway still felt private. I would absolutely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay and feeding the goats was a bonus.

We stayed here at the farmhouse because it was close to my son’s wedding venue and they excepted dogs. It is a nice property and the house is an old farmhouse but that’s the charm. The only negative thing is the upstairs only has one bathroom with two bedrooms and you have to walk through a bedroom to get to bathroom. I know old houses were built like that. Just something to consider. The other thing they need to upgrade is the mattress's very old and uncomfortable. For a house that says 10 people there is not enough furniture in main living room. You need a sectional couch. The kitchen was stocked very well and good size as the dining room. The backyard is nice for barbecue. I love the goats. But they need to tell you the top wire is electrical just a warning, it really is a good place to stay with a large family. Beautiful scenery. Thank you for allowing our dogs and family to visit.

We could not have found a more perfect place to stay and prepare for our daughter's wedding. Anthony and Bari were AMAZING! they answered all our questions and made our stay so comfortable. The property was perfect, everyone felt relaxed and had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking the hazelnut farm, playing outdoor games, and visiting the sweetest goats. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful place. Thank you!

like the listing described. Bari the host oriented us to the property, and was very careful to give us all the privacy we wanted. She maintains a beautifully landscaped property, and invited us to pick blueberries from the bushes right outside the living room window. The was well equipped with everything we could need. Quiet and peacefull.

We had a large group staying with us and the host was very accommodating. The house is on a working farm but they worked around our schedule so as not to interfere with our plans. The decor of the home brought back many pleasurable childhood memories. I highly recommend and would stay again if were ever in the area again.

Overall just a great property for a family getaway. We had several of our family fly in to PDX for our daughter's wedding. There was something for everyone at this property, they had everything and the grounds were peaceful and beautiful.

This property was perfect for our family of 8 adults, 2 children (7 and 1) and our dog. We had the best time here. My 7 year old great niece said "this is the greatest house" and I couldn't agree more. The hosts were so helpful and friendly and answered our many questions. They made it feel like we were staying with friends. This house is well taken care of and had things to help entertain all ages. The property is beautiful and my niece and I had a great time exploring the beautiful grounds. We rented this house to stay in while we went to the Tulip Festival, which was just a short 10 minute drive from the house. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this property was. I'm pretty picky about where we stay and this house was perfect for us. We will definitely choose this house again when we are in the area. Thank you to the hosts for providing such a wonderful home and for thinking of all the details someone might want in a vacation property.

My family and I (7 adults & 2 dogs) stayed here for a couple days and wished we could extend our vacation! This home is beautiful and super well kept. If you're looking for a place to have the whole family together but still have your space, this is the spot for you!! Beautiful home, nice and peaceful. We look forward to our next stay here!!

It’s a beautiful place. Went out for a walk on the property and it’s beautiful. House was great and fully stocked with everything and extra to host a family dinner. The kids loved it they enjoyed the grassy areas and the bird watching a cool chalkboard that was in the lounge room. My four year old daughter did not want to leave . Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay. The farm was peaceful and close to wineries, the house was big with plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked, and there was plenty to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommend for a winery vacation.

My whole family (myself, wife, daughter, parents, sister, and an uncle) stayed here while we were in town for my brother's wedding. It was perfect. It had plenty of room for all of us. It was super clean. Had everything we needed. It was super fun to stay on a hazelnut farm. And my daughter loved the goats. Bari and Anthony were wonderful hosts. Super easy to work with and very responsive. We plan to stay there again when in town to visit my brother.

Family group coming in for a wedding. Intended 8, ended up 6 but would have been fine with the 10. Noticed several blow up beds, but did not need them. Worked well for our group. Serene location where we enjoyed house and yard. Owners nearby for questions and information. Wonderful choice for us.

We used the indoor and outdoor space in our group gatherings. The house was nicely appointed inside and stocked with a variety of outdoor things to help us enjoy our stay.
We enjoyed our walks in the property.

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely old farmhouse. It was so quiet and charming. The property is beautiful. We traveled to this area with friends for a wedding, and it was a great place to stay with a group. Lots of space to gather, eat and enjoy. Thank you!

We were here for our son's wedding. We frosted a wedding cake in the kitchen, found a safety pin to adjust a dress, used a lint roller to get rid of some dog hair on one son's clothes. We played yard games, enjoyed the flowers, and walked the orchard. The coffee shop nearby was amazing and the Thai food truck was great too. Wedding near Canby was great and the farmhouse helped it go smoothly. Thank you!

My husband and I and our dog Lyca needed a place to get away from New Year's Eve fireworks in the city where we live. Our hope to find a house on some property away from other residential areas. This home is situated on the edge of a family hazelnut orchard and was the family's home. It's been lovingly maintained and, though it wasn't quite far enough from other homes to prevent our dog from getting nervous about the fireworks and celebratory gunshots in neighboring areas, it was a lovely place to stay. I imagine it would be a great option for a family gathering.

This was a perfect location as we visited friends and family in Portland and Salem. We were thrilled that the home was decorated for Christmas! Owner met us upon arrival to give us an overview of the home and property. Would definitely return.

We loved staying at B and B Orchards! Myself, my brother and my Mother were all coming from out of town for Thanksgiving this was the perfect place to stay near my brother wr who was hosting’s house. While we didn’t host thanksgiving at the house, it would have been more than appropriately stocked to do so. The kitchen had all appliances, pots, pans, baking dishes, etc. that would have been needed and there was plenty of space to hold those of us who were there. The property is beautiful and you are right near downtown Hubbard and near many other wineries and beautiful Oregon get away walls. We would definitely stay again!

Easy booking process, good communications with owners about check in. Ended up with just two couples there (us and older kids) and not my parents in their 90s. Not sure it would have been as comfortable for them, but good for the four of us and dog. Well equipped kitchen, lots of space to spread out. Fairly quiet location, numerous small towns nearby to explore, if willing to drive a bit.

This property was perfect for our stay - a quiet retreat from the fullness of a family wedding celebration at nearby Cedarvale Events. We all felt so comfortable on the farm, from the welcome of Bari upon arrival, to the homy feel of the house, to the cutest goats and chickens.... all of it made this a restful place for us. We especially enjoyed watching the myriad of birds out the living room window while drinking our coffee in the morning. It was a beautiful gift. This is a place we would stay again.

Bari was there when we checked in to go through the house and to clarify the operation of the heating/cooling systems and TVs. The location was good for the wedding we were attending and getting to town for forgotten items.

Great place for family fun!
This was for a family get together. My grandson lives in Woodburn with his wife & young children, the rest of us live in California. The home was spacious, kitchen well stocked (couldn't find a wooden spoon), washer & dryer, everything was clean, comfortable & welcoming. BBQ, deck area adjacent to grassy area where children & dogs played (& adults). Lots of outdoor & indoor games. Close to shopping.

Perfect for Family Trip
This was a very nice property, all of us loved it. We had teenagers and they are hard to please, but they enjoyed it as well. The location was perfect to go to many different areas like Salem, Silver Falls, and the beach. Highly recommend, much nicer than any hotel.

Eli's Wedding
It was a beautiful location / setting. We hosted the Rehearsal Dinner there - 23 guests total. Anthony, the host, responded quickly to my questions and provided tables and chairs for us because we ended up not having enough. We brought our Bean Bag Toss boards / game and some of the boys made use of the basketball hoop. It was so much nicer than at a restaurant.
I liked the house floor plan. There was some nice separation of the bedrooms, so people going to bed at different times were not bothered.
We didn't cook there, but it looked like there were lots of dishes / pan / etc.
All in all, it was a beautiful setting and a great experience.

Amazing Farmhouse!
A truly fabulous home on a spectacular hazelnut orchard! Words can’t begin to describe how much we loved our stay here. This home has everything you need, from the fully stocked kitchen, picturesque windows that provide stunning views, to the great outdoor entertaining area. Our daily walks around the orchard, time spent gathering outside or inside at the cool hangout area, provided us with many fabulous family memories!!
The hosts were great to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had. They thought of all of the items that you would need to make your stay amazing!
We will be back soon😀
