Great house for a fun family ski trip! Close to town. Close to hills.
House is easy walking distance to restaurants and stores. Couple of minute drive to Mt Hood. During the winters walking distance to closer ski destinations.
House is warm and inviting. Plenty of room to spread out with two TV/living rooms. Ski storage and washer/dryer great added bonus. Kitchen is fully stocked.
Truly an amazing experience to ski in the summer at Mt Hood!

A really great place, especially for families. The layout is such that two large primary bedrooms are on the top floor, main living on the middle floor and a downstairs bedroom (for the kids!) on the lower level. And bathrooms on all levels.
We’d definitely stay there again.

We loved the layout. The cleanliness was not good, and there is not a hot tub, even though it was in several pictures and in the virtual tour listed on the site.

Our stay was marvelous at this log cabin. We spent 99% of our weekend at the cabin watching our favorite MLB team on tv and playing board games while it snowed most of the weekend.

My family and I stayed 2 nights at the cabin. It was perfect for us. Close to Mt Hood Meadows, night sledding and lovely walks in the woods. A couple of maintenance issues which I’m sure will be resolved for next guest.
3.0
Bare minimum bath towels and tiny soap and shampoos
Also nobody bothered to plow of shovel the snow after the blizzard.

One night of heat, lightning and amenities, all good. The rest of our reservation time was not good.

This house is just so lovely. Great cozy log cabin vibes. The layout was perfect for the teenagers to stay up late on the ground level while the parents could get some sleep in the beautiful 3rd story bedrooms (with really comfy beds!) Great location right in Govy. We would love to stay here again.

We always love being at the Mountain. House is great for a large group and close to everything.

We had a great time here. Check-in process was seamless. The house was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. No issues with appliances. The house was the perfect location for all the things we wanted to do, and it was nice to just walk across the bridge to the store/restaurants. Please know that you WILL hear highway noise, but we knew that from reading other reviews. I don't think the highway noise is easily avoided if you want to stay in Government Camp. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

I have already submitted my detailed complaints including videos, requested all cleaning & host fees be refunded. No update yet received from your management.

I loved nothing about this rental

We had a wonderful stay in June for my 13yo ski camp! The cabin was very close to everything! Clean & well maintained! We stayed with another family & there was plenty of room for everyone! I would definitely love to stay here again!! Only downside was the highway is very close. We just turned on the fans & that drowned out the noise!

The house was nice and well kept. However, the house only sleeps 10 but was advertised as sleeping 12. The highway noise was very loud so suggest using ear plugs.

The cabin has so many issues. No heat or hot water on our arrival, garbage cans full of trash scattered across yard, dishwasher not cleaning dishes so everything in the cupboard was dirty and the condition of the cooking pans were horrible, dust and cobwebs all over the house…. I could go on…the one positive thing I can say about this cabin was the help from the management

This home has a great location in Government camp. Overall the home could use a little upgrading of the pots and pans and linens. Other than that it was comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers and everything else worked well.

Great house. But…
Very dirty unusable hot tub. Cloudy green water with a big wad of chewing gum floating around. Empty plastic bottle on the bottom and disgusting hair clump floating around. We should get our hot tub fee back.

This was a good getaway for our family. The house is smaller and darker than it appears on the photos, but looks exactly like the visual. Neighborhood was great, love the location. Thank you so much Vacasa!

Very warm, great fireplace, spacious for the sq footage. Kitchen pretty nice. Could use some saucepans. Bring your own firewood. Hot tub was broken, but that seems normal with previous reviews. Good value for the rental fee.

It was awesome will definitely try to re rent the same spot

This house was very accommodating for my family of 5 plus their spouses. Only draw back was the hot tub. I messaged before we arrived questioning the hot tub as it is in several reviews. No communication from management and no response while on site. We were very much looking forward to hot-tubbing while admiring the snow. Other than that, great home for larger families

Dirty dishes. Broken pull out. Maitnance showed up unannounced while I was in the shower. The hot tub isn't properly working. The home had eggs on more then one pan. Needless to say I won't be coming back.

We loved the house and the location but we left feedback for Vacasa about cleanliness and condition.
The house desperately needs some things to be replaced... all bedding (pillows/quilts/sheets), pots/pans, etc.
Also, the cleaners seemed to have forgotten to clean the kitchen and main living area before we got there. It wasn't clean... quite a bit of dog hair on rugs, coffee left in the pot, fridge had crumbs, etc.
We booked this place a year ago... but since then the hot tub has broken. I imagine they have removed the hot tub from the listing now but I would strongly encourage the owners to fix it... It would've added a lot to our experience there.
Overall, the photos are a bit misleading on this rental.

Do not rent this home if you are looking for an relaxing home In The mountains. The hot tub is broke, it needs a part and it is a known issues and they lied and said it’s up and running and working when it is NOT. I was actually told to add hot water from the kitchen sink if I wanted it hot! The lack of customer service was beyond disappointing! I am demanding a refund. I have contacted everyone I can by email and Text to make this right! I would have never rented this home if I knew the hot tub was not working. Hands down the worst place we have rented in a very long time OH and they charge you if you want a late check out! Save your money- don’t rent his home! I

Overall, the home was comfortable and had what we needed and the kitchen was well stocked with all cooking essentials. In addition, the home was within walking distance to shops and restaurants in Government Camp. Negatives: The location is right next to the highway, so traffic noise was quite loud. We stayed over a very wet weekend and the dirt driveway tended to drain towards the front porch and entrance. Finally, the home was a bit dirty/not well cleaned.

The house was in a great location near town & Skibowl East. We had to stream football games on Thanksgiving from our phones & computer as the place does not have regular cable tv. The hot tub is not hot enough to use & the lid is completely water logged & heavy to lift. Lots of room for a few family’s & comfortable beds. It would be good to bring ear plugs to sleep as there is no interior soundproof insulation (u can hear everyone in the top 2 levels) & freeway traffic can be noisy at times. We did enjoy our stay & loved the log cabin look of the living room & wood burning fire place.

Wonderful cozy cabin. Lots of beds great kitchen. Definitely our favorite cabin experience so far

This property is a really nice place to getaway! We really enjoyed the cabin style home, it was super cozy! The only couple of things was that they had not swept, vacuumed, or dusted in a while it seemed like and the hot tub was only lukewarm like a bath. But other than that it was a nice place to stay and I would go back!

Great rental, centrally located to town. We are a family of 6 and it was a perfect space for all of us. I especially appreciated the extra fans upstairs because it did get quite warm on the 2nd and 3rd floor. It seems that the A/C only worked on the first floor (main enterance). When we first arrived, there was a gentleman leaving who worked to maintain the home and he informed us that the hot tub wasn't working (maintaining heat), which we were bummed about. We did get into the hot tub, but it was more of a warm bath temp. The kitchen had plenty of kitchen items, but many of the pans had thick stuck on grease in the pan and we were too grossed out to use them. As previous users also noted, the downstairs does have a smell to it but thankfully my teenagers slept down there (the television downstairs is DVD only). I should also note that when you first pull up to the home, there is a giant hole in the ground - likely where a tree was removed, but it made parking our second vehicle next to our van quite difficult. Despite the above issues, we still enjoyed staying in the home.

We had a bit of an issue with the downstairs shower but otherwise a great stay! Plenty of other showers to use. Comfortably fit a party of 10 and east to get around. Would happily stay again.

Beautiful upscale home close to all Mt. Hood activity. Comfortable beds, sleeps 10+ easily in 3 tiered living areas. A great room for group dinners and games and tv. Caution, pay attention when parking. We got stuck in a large hole on right side of drive. 3 blocks from bar/restaurant/mrket areas. Walking distance to west bowl area of summer activities.

Lots of room for people, close to everything ..

We loved the area with an easy walk to Government Camp and Mt Hood Adventure Patk. Lots of adventure all over the area with Trillium Lake and Timothy Lake for paddling, Timberline on Mt Hood for hiking and easy access to snow for our dog, great food nearby, and adrenaline bungee jumping, zip lining, and a gangly tree course just minutes away. The house is comfy and very spacious for a large group. The kitchen is decently stocked but bring your own frying pans. The only drawback is a spring right outside the front door which means mud everywhere and a huge hole you don’t want to get anywhere near with your car.
3.0
Beautifully constructed log chalet, kitchen and bathrooms clean, as was bedding. The downstairs carpet is gross and smelly, too many dogs over the years. Should be replaced.
My bad for not pinpointing the location on the map before reserving. It is adjacent to hwy 26 and trucks roar past all day and nearly all night. Not even possible to sit outside or have windows open. Maddening. Completely ready to leave by checkout time.
And what the heck, charges from both VRBO and Vacasa?? The final cost was definitely not worth it.

House is a great location. We had some minor issues but nothing major. Grill would not work and look like it had seen its better years. Hot tub was not working and left just cold, dirty water. Entry way to house was really muddy, they could use some stone in the drive or walk area to help keep bottom area clean. Other then that, house was nice and kitchen had some supplies for use.
5.0
Cozy cabin getaway
Beautiful cabin feel in a beautiful location
