Great quiet place with beautiful mountains in the distance, clean, and cute! Enjoyed the private backyard and hot tub after hiking. Perfect for a sister/mom weekend.

I rent this place because i saw the good reviews but when i arrived I though is going to be a private house but you can see the others houses and people, and the hot tub was cold water I texted the owner and he just told me when you arrived was hot i can't do nothing about that, I was very disappointed because he didn't help.

House was clean, hot tub was clean. As listed although needs updated outside photos. Location was good for our interests. Kitchen was remodeled but needs attention to utensils and dishes. The swing over looking the field and mountains was nice.

Great quiet place, many photo opportunities, beautiful mountains in the distance, clean, and just cute!
We had a sister/mom weekend and enjoyed our stay, especially the private backyard and hot tub after hiking!
Thank you for a great place to lay our heads.

We enjoyed our activities in the Asheville area and this property allowed us to spend less time traveling and more time exploring.
We were disappointed that the pictures did not meet up with reality. Pictures are several years old. On the outside (first impression) the trees and shrubs were overgrown and the address was difficult to see. The yard and deck had not been tended to welcome guests. Rotting boards on the deck, no firewood provided for the fire ring, chairs were dirty.
Inside, though surfaces were clean, the floor had dust and cobwebs in every corner. The shower curtains had not been cleaned (I cleaned the mildew off before using). Simple things like hooks, hangars, and shelves for our belonging were sparse which means most things were on the floor or stayed in our suitcases.
The kitchen is spacious but not well supplied or organized.
We did enjoy some time in the hot tub and on the back swing. We were disappointed that the numerous 5-star reviews did not match up with our experience.

Our group of 7 friends met up for an annual long weekend together and had a wonderful stay. House was exactly as advertised, process was easy and smooth, and we made the most of our time together enjoying all that Asheville has to offer from live music, to hiking, to restaurants/ bars and the River arts district. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus at the end of each night for us all!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. The views were magnificent, we were not too far from downtown, and the hot tub and fire pit made for fun nights staying in at the house. Everything was as listed, was clean, and the host was very communicative. I would highly recommend staying here & I would come back myself!

This property had plenty of room for the 4 of us and the beds were super comfy. Loved the gated privacy of the place! We enjoyed the hot tub one night and the fire pit the next! Will def be back!

The home and location were great. Unfortunately, there was a massive water outage while we were there that took away from our stay but had that not happened the trip would have been perfect!

The house was clean, quaint with a beautiful view of the Pisagh Mtn. It was wonderful being able a take a few minutes to enjoy the view while sipping my coffee in the mornings.
We enjoyed the fire pit, made s’mores with the kids and chatted for hours. My husband and I were able to enjoy the hot tub as well.
We definitely would like to come back again. The host Michael was accommodating and checked in on us the day we arrived, the house had everything we needed.
My only feedback, would be regarding the tree in the backyard it no long fits the description, however, still enjoyed everything !

Nice place
The house was clean and as described. The hot tub was lovely and clean. The landscaping had a lot of huge weeds in it, overgrown bushes, and a dead tree. For such a cute place , a landscaping clean up day would put the exterior of the house back to what the pictures show. Overall, it was a good experience and we would go back.

Loved the view and fenced yard
We enjoyed our stay. We had a 21 month old, so we loved having a fenced yard. The "newly" painted walls that were advertised are showing some wear and tear. A new breakfast set and some more hooks to hang towels in the bathrooms would go a long way, imo. There were lots of towels and bedding, and everything was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, especially since the host was so responsive.

Perfect Family home for touring the area
Great location for the family to base our three days in the Asheville area. The house was clean and comfortable. The view of the mountains was lovely as we enjoyed an evening glass of wine. Our 2 1/2 year old loved all the outdoor space to run around. Would definitely recommend to other families who want a quiet retreat for the night.

What a wonderful Stay
WE had a wonderful time staying in the house. The property was amazing and very quiet. Getting to see the hot air balloons every morning was an added bonus. fly overs and even paragliders.
-the beds are very comfy
-anything you need is in the house and if not just ask Michael and he will make sure you have what you need
-the hot tub was an excellent choice for us after the long hours of walking Biltmore village.
-Biltmore house is very close and convenient to get to
-tons of things to do in the surrounding area
- check out the farmers market and dinner at Apollo Fire restaurant. the bigger location was best in our option (there is 2 in the area)
over all a very good week for our family

Lovely Cottage
We appreciated the privacy that the cottage provided, while still being very close to Asheville shopping and attractions. The property was lovely and clean. This would be a great place for a family with kids or teenagers. Plenty of room for yard games, a fire pit and hot tub. Additionally there is a studding view of the NC mountains. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend stay
Good experience. I think one of the bedrooms and bathroom needs work to bring it up to the other bedrooms and bathroom.

We stayed at this property with a group of girls for a relaxing bachelorette weekend and it could not have been more perfect! The house is cozy and the setting is so peaceful. Cute
Cute little cottage was perfect for our bachelorette party. Hot rob was a definite plus. Not super fancy but perfectly cozy. The property owner was super helpful in making this run as smoothly as possible.

Great mini vacation
The house was great once we got a feel for it! The master bathroom connects with another on the bedrooms and not just the master, so that definitely threw us off. It was a little awkward adjusting to the layout of the house at first. The backyard area definitely sells the house though! It was a perfect little area, although a tree branch did fall during the storms that happened while we were there! Plenty of parking, WiFi works perfectly.

Charming
This is a charming farm house. A little smaller than I anticipated. High points for charm, a few less for comfort. Furniture and decor could be slightly improved. House was in a great location, private and quite. Relaxing back yard. Owners friendly and responsive.

Amazing Get Away House
We had an amazing stay at this house in Candler! We were a few minutes away from Asheville and had no problem getting to where we needed to be in town! With the corona virus happening, we spent our evenings/night at the house and had a great time utilizing the hot tub & zen garden. 10/10 recommend.

Baas Kissel review
Overall positive. Very cute place nice view of mountains and close to Asheville as advertised but drive to hiking was generally 50 mins plus. Hot tub was nice but only maintained heat for 30-45 mins. Interactions with the property manager were great.

Loved it!
Was perfect for my mountain bachelorette weekend. Loved the hot tub, the view, and the adorable old truck in the yard. Was pretty difficult to get Uber and Lyft rides into town on Saturday.

We loved it!
Our rental experience was great. The house is located in a quiet area. The interior is beautifully done and the grounds outside well-kept. The hot tub was amazing! The owner was easy to communicate with and very accomodating. We had the opportunity to view another nearby property from this same owner and that house was just as nice. I would definitely recommend this property as well as any others from this owner.
