About this apartment rental

3 Bedroom fully furnished rental that is low mobility friendly. All spaces are on the ground floor with no steps to negotiate entering or exiting. Located in town with easy access to all that Seward has to offer, but best of all it's tucked away and surrounded by nature in a quiet peaceful setting. Only a quick ten minute walk to the marina, marine viewing tours, charter companies, and several restaurants so that parking isn't a concern while you're out having fun. If You're coming in by train the depot is only a quarter of a mile away so transportation doesn't need to be a worry and the cruise dock is only half a mile away. If you're wanting to eat some of your meals in, the grocery store is only half a mile away.

Each bedroom contains comfortable beds and sleep two people, with a roll away single bed this unit sleeps 8 people. All of the bedrooms have blackout curtains to allow you a good night's sleep so you are ready for all of the adventures out there. There is a fully equipped kitchen that is open to the living room to keep everyone together on their vacation. The bathroom is newly remodeled this year with new fixtures, grab bars and a larger easy step in shower. This year has also seen the addition of a brand new laundry room! Everything you need is right here in one easy to navigate, roomy space

This unit sleeps eight people in beds and allows a maximum occupancy of 9 persons. There are no per person fees or hidden cleaning fees. All you pay is the refundable deposit, the nightly fee, and taxes. Surrounded by nature, with easy access to all that Seward has to offer makes this the perfect setting for a great getaway.

My two brothers and I stared in this lovely place for three nights. It was very clean and the pictures were accurate. The location is very convenient and close to town. The owners were very responsive and the entire stay was wonderful. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Very convenient location in Seward, just minutes from town and the harbor. The house was clean and functional. The house has a chest freezer that we were able to store fish we caught earlier in our trip. The house had everything we needed!

A nice place to stay, but was a bit shy on some basics. We definitely could have used more washcloths (there was only one), and other than salt, pepper, and seasoned salt, there was nothing else in the kitchen.

We had a great time here in Seward. The location is in walking distance to the harbor and we enjoyed walking around the area. The house was great and had everything we needed and then some! There were games, dvds, puzzles, and more. It was an excellent stay and I would definitely stay there again.

This was a fantastic location close to everything! All the basics were provided and some extra nice touches like snacks and coffee! The place was clean and communication/check in and out were simple. Beds were all very comfortable , including the bunk beds, which is rare! There were 7 of us on a 2 week trip, so we did cook and do laundry. I would say the only complication we had was that the oven and stovetop were so incredibly tiny that it was really hard to cook for 7 people here, but we made it work!

Great location, well furnished, property owner on premises however we felt alone and secure. Had a mini-family gathering with members from Maine, NH, NY and Seward.Perfect for us. We would stay here again in a minute!! So nice to be “home away from home!”

The property is lovely set on a hill above a salmon filled stream. The shops and restaurants were just a short walk away. The kids had a ball exploring. Our hosts were kind and attentive. Highly recommend

This is a great location for the marina and the train station. We had a large group that part stayed at Harbor 360 and here at the VRBO. We had dinner several nights at the VRBO for a large crew and it was fantastic. Thanks for a great memorable stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very roomy and clean. Much more spacious than the pictures showed. Bath towels were huge and very absorbent, big improvement over hotels. It was also closer to town than appeared on the map. Will stay here again if the need arises.

This home met all of our expectations & more. It is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean. Tucked in among the trees, yet close to town. There are plenty of DVD’s, games & books. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Seward.

What a treat!

What a treat!

We booked this location for a family visit (Tokyo and Chicago). What a gem! Perfect accomodations, plenty of room, and such a quiet and beautiful setting. The decorations and accomodations were stellar. The pictures are spot on. Close to town, and beautiful views (save for the smoke from the kenai fires, but you can't predict mother nature). Very very happy with our stay. Thank you!

This rental felt like home! My wife and I treated our youngest and his family to 3 nights and 4 days in Seward, and our home away from home was perfect for 2 seniors, 2 30-somethings, and three kids (10 months-almost 8). the furnishings were comfortable, the flat-screen was set up for dvds, and the kitchen/dining area was perfect for our party. bunk beds for the kids were a huge hit, and all adults reported the beds were comfortable, too. the outdoors setting was very nice, though we did not stay around much of the time. The only issue we had was with the range--it had trouble indicating whether the oven was off sometimes.

At night and in the morning it was cold (63F) inside. There was a lock on the thermostat so there was no way to take the chill out of the air.

Good option for group exploring Seward

We were a group of 6 (3 couples) exploring Alaska and stayed a few nights here for some Seward adventures. The house is close to town but likely would need a car. There are 2 sizable bedrooms and one pretty small one but it works. We liked the open layout of the kitchen and dining room. The wifi is very slow and would definitely benefit from an upgrade or a wifi extender. The heat is programmed to a high of 68 which a little chilly but we had plenty of blankets.

We had a great 5 day stay, in August 2017. There were 5 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Owners were very accommodating, even invited us to use their garden which was very nice :) Home had all of the amenities, close to town, can walk to the marina. Would stay again and recommend.

Really nice, clean, comfortable basement living space with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bath, and large family room. Beds were extremely comfortable with nice bedding and blackout curtains in each room. Family room was huge with 2 large sofas containing 4 reclining seats which was great after a long day. There also were warm throw blankets to snuggle up with while watching tv. Kitchen was well equipped and we did use it to cook and to make meals. Shower was nice and worked well for the two tall men in my family. Washer and dryer worked well and detergent was provided. Location is very convenient. You can easily walk into port area of town where tours depart and there are several restaurants there too. Host was kind and helpful. My husband said if we come back to Seward, he wouldn't look anywhere else, he'd stay here.

My wife and I just returned from a great 4 day mini-cation in Seward. We rented the Bayview property and could not have been more impressed. This place is prefect for a couple or a larger group. Very spacious, comfy beds, and it's big enough to be able to spread out. SOO MUCH better than a more expensive hotel room. There's a free shuttle in Seward (look for the school bus) and there is a Shuttle Stop within easy walking distance. For that matter, everything is within ey walking distance. We HIGHLY recommend this spot and Lyrissa and Andy are fantastic hosts !!!

Highly recommended awesome place to stay. The kids had plenty of room to move around, games to play, and very comfortable beds. Easily within walking distance to everything. Nice to also run to the grocery store and make some meals. The hosts were on top of everything to make sure our stay was comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

I cannot write enough about this wonderful place to stay in Seward. If you are looking for a very roomy and accommodating location for a family or large group, this is your place. Everything from the location to the excellent layout of the place is solid. The accommodations such as toys for children, DVDs, board games, kitchenware, appliances, outdoor toys, and a gorgeous view of the mountains adds to the experience. It really doesn't get any better than this place. The owner, Lyrissa, even brought us fresh flowers when we arrived. What an excellent touch. It's the little details like this that go a long way!

Our family of 4 stayed here a couple of nights before boarding the big ship. Lots of space in the living area to relax in - a big plus. Very clean apartment on the bottom floor of the house. A short walk into town, though we had a car and did not take advantage of this. Nice, responsive owners.
