About this apartment rental

This downtown apartment is a two bedroom, 1 bath unit that has been totally renovated with stainless appliances, hardwood floors, and slate tile. The open plan between kitchen and living room is great for entertaining. The comfortable living room includes a large flat-panel TV and a charming freestanding gas fireplace. There is a walk-in closet with a washer/dryer, and plenty of closet storage -- including shoe racks.

Our location is ideal in downtown Sandpoint, within walking distance of City Beach, the Marina, all the downtown restaurants, live music, wine bars, and shopping including outdoor gear shops, a bike shop, and lots of gift and antiques shops. In the summer, enjoy Sandpoint's lively farmer's market just down the street with live music, local produce and crafts. Please note that the condo is right downtown, in the heart of everything, which is about as urban as Sandpoint gets! Our guests love the location for its convenience and access, but if you are looking for waterfront or mountain views, this is probably not the place for you!

Did you know Sandpoint has a free local bus? There's a stop only about a block away from our apartment, and you can ride the SPOT bus to the Schweitzer base for a ride to the village, stores in Ponderay, and anywhere else you'd want to go around the Sandpoint area. You can also access bike and walking paths within a block or two of the front door.

And while we offer a great location to walk or bike from, you'll also enjoy off-street parking for your own vehicle giving you freedom to get up to Schweitzer or access more remote hiking areas or day-trip locations.

Location and proximity to downtown Sandpoint was great. Pretty much everything we wanted to do and see in town was within walking distance. For runners, access to running trail along the river was close, safe and accommodated whatever distance we wanted to run. Also provided for an easy commute to Schweitzer mountain ski resort.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Gave easy access to downtown Sandpoint. Kids and parents could go different ways. A few blocks from the basketball court and public beach. Really close to yoga and morning coffee. Made for a relaxing short get away. Would definitely stay again.

This property worked well for us for a 3 day stay in Sandpoint. It is right in the center of town. It is a bit unusual, but was very clean and well stocked with plenty of towels and all you need for a pleasant stay. We would stay there again.

This property was very convenient for us with two young children. The owner responded promptly when we arrived and provided us with a crib and cot for our kids. Everything nearby is very walkable and we loved the central location.

Extremely walkable to everything in Sandpoint. Best asset is the location. Located in a converted office building so windows only on one side of building and can feel a bit dark. Has everything you need but not many extras. Clean and good communication with host.

The place was nice and well-located, if a bit odd. It appeared to be 3 office spaces put together as an apartment, and the renovations were definitely a bit haphazard. I level flooring, odd shape, loud pipes, etc. however, the place was still very nice and cozy and right in the heart of all the good resteraunts and shopping in Sandpoint.

3 of us stayed 5 nights to ski & enjoy Sandpoint. Loved the ability to walk in downtown area, day & night. Host VERY responsive, day after Christmas when we arrived & the furnace didn't come on. He came right over & fixed. Main suggestion: we wished for more lamps both bedside & in living room when hanging out & reading. The laundry room was an unknown plus for hanging & drying out our ski gear!!!

We were very impressed with this place! There were 2 queen beds, a large couch, and a fold away cot. Unfortunately there was a broken pin on the cot so it didn’t hold but when I happened to see the property manager outside the next day I mentioned it and she took care of it quickly! She was wonderful to work with. The apartment was well stocked with plenty of space and within walking distance to all kinds of shops, restaurants, and the beach. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This Condo was fantastic! It is located in the middle of Sandpoint. One block from the water with restaurants, bars, and breweries within steps of the front door. The condo was clean and well stocked! I would highly recommend this place. If we ever come back to Sandpoint we will definitely stay here again!

Great location and space with some rough edges

Centrally located in downtown Sandpoint, it is difficult to beat the location. Because the space is clearly a converted commercial property, it has some inevitable (and surprising) drawbacks that are not necessarily drawbacks. The heating intake was surprisingly noisy (especially when it kicked on while we were sleeping) and the furnace seemed to stop working entirely on our last night/morning. After some difficulty, we were able to get the stove lit but didn’t trust the gas connection enough to keep it running overnight or relight it during our visit. Sandpoint is relatively sleepy at night in the winter, so outside noises were minimal. Inside, however, we encountered a variety of unexplained pops, creaks, and knocks during the night. One night, the bedroom TV inexplicably turned on at 2 AM. Wi-Fi was occasionally dodgy and the one dedicated parking spot was difficult to manage with Sandpoint’s vague parking rules. All things considered, though, this is still one of the best places to stay when staging a weekend visit to North Idaho.

The downtown location is really great, walk to City Beach in 5 mins. The location is what makes this condo desirable. This condo has been converted from commercial work space, so it lacks in charm and livability that you expect from a space that was designed to be living space. Specifically, there are windows on only one side of the unit, and three exterior doors, all look out onto the parking lot. With that design challenge, the unit is pretty dark. On the plus side, there is plenty of room in the unit to store bikes or paddleboards if you are on a roadtrip and the kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay. One bedroom had a very soft mattress, the other was more firm.

The place looks like it was a business but they decorated it really nice. They had plenty of towels and toiletries... Its located close to the beach, shops and restaurants. All walking distance. Very easy access to the highway. Just need more than one parking spot for the guests.

If you want to be in the heart of Sandpoint this is the location. It offers the feeling of being a local which is what we were looking for, as we are scouting out the area for relocation. We were at Schweitzer Mountain in 20 minutes and when we were at the unit- we walked everywhere. Lastly, the unit had an issue with the thermostat- most likely operator error and the property owner was Johnny On The Spot. We will be back!

A week in downtown Sandpoint

The property was very clean, convenient, and roomy (especially for just two of us). It is just one block off the main street downtown, so it is great for walking access to most everything in Sandpoint. There is no outside deck or patio if that is important to you. The condo is well stocked, which is always appreciated, especially if you are flying. Charles was very gracious with us, when we had a scheduling problem. We look forward to staying here again!
