The whole experience was great until I actually showed up to the property. We got double booked but given the same code so the next family could just walk in on the other family. The property manager did answer the phone but as soon as we told him what happened he hung up and would not answer the phone even for the police. There was no water in the house at all and it never got fixed so we had to stay somewhere else. Vrbo customer support was equally as horrendous. We didn't get into a hotel until after 11pm with two small kids. They wouldn't even accommodate us for the amount of guests we're on my reservation. Still haven't gotten a refund and doubt it's coming. All around nightmare. Just book a hotel.

We had a good stay over a few days. Stayed with my daughter and three children. The beds were clean and comfortable. Nice to not need to bring sheets or towels. We used several Lyft and Uber rides to come and go from the city.

The place worked great for our group, both in terms of the layout and the location, and the host was very responsive. But the place is a bit rundown, and a lot of odds and ends didn't work, like the toilet in the lower level, the light over the stove, the can opener and the smoke detector (kept going off for no reason). Otherwise a great stay!

This house was NOTHING as advertised! The place was Filthy, photos were a lie, beds were on cartons, too many problems to mention here. NEVER, I repeat NEVER stay at this property or at any other house this company owns. And Vrbo’s service was terrible as well. It took 3 days to finally speak with someone.

The property was very spacious and had adequate room for hosting the number of people it sleeps. If I were to come back to DC I would love to stay here again.

This property was billed as luxury. Actually was dirty, in disrepair, major issues around the house.

This location was in disrepair. Limited sheets and linens. Make sure to bring your own soap. Hot upstairs cold downstairs.

On Monday April 22 we left the property to do some sightseeing. Upon returning we discovered the water was completely shut off to the property. I called the numbers provided in the Home Instructions. I did not get an answer to the emergency number provided but I did get an answer to the property managers. I told her at that time that we have not received a call back for any of our complaints. The ice maker, broken toilet etc. She was concerned and assured me that someone would call me back regarding the water being shut off. On Tuesday April 23 at 7:00 a.m. I received a phone call from Omar who assured me the water would be turned on that day. He explained that there was a problem with his credit card. Upon returning to the property at 7:00 we discovered the water was not on. I called Omar again and left a message. He returned call 10 min later and said he was sending his men out to turn it on. We waited for an hour and no one showed up nor called. I called again, no answer so I text him. He said that he had another property down the block and sent us the code to get in so everyone could shower. He told me that we could spend the night there but we had to leave by Thursday because he had customers coming at that time. It was very late; we had no car and did not feel safe walking. I told him that and he would not offer an uber. He kept saying it was a short walk. So…we all walked in the dark in an unfamiliar neighborhood. It took us 15 minutes to get there and we all shower

We enjoyed our stay and love the location. The unit has nice common spaces, a well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. The location works well as it was a 10-min walk to the Green-Line subway which connects to everything in the city. Thank you.

The property was as advertised and communication with host was excellent. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

I reserved this property for a group of my friends and family (13 people) and this house was the perfect size for us. Everyone had space to be comfortable in the house and the location is pretty convenient to get to all the sites my group wanted to check out. I will say the house is not in perfect condition and the back patio was basically unusable, but overall we had a very good experience and I would stay here again. Its also worth noting that the owner was very quick to respond with a couple of questions I had reached out with during our stay, which was very helpful.

Host was awesome, home was awesome. There were a few things that could be updated, but none of our group complained. Thank you so much for an awesome place to stay while visiting the D.C. area!

We thoroughly enjoyed having a home to come back to rather than a motel. It was very clean and spacious. Also, it was very close to the bus lines and metro. However, we could never get the televisions to work properly and we also had trouble flushing the toilets. On the night before we left the water lines completely froze; therefore, we had no water all night and morning. That truly was an experience I would not like to repeat.

There was mold and chipping paint around a leaking window, rain that came in through the upstairs leaking window on to a bed, a broken toilet, a leaking sink, mice, mouse poop, a lack of necessary items (extra sheets, pot holders), a broken coffee pot, no working fire alarms on main level with kitchen, missing outlet covers exposing holes with dangerous electrical cords, terrible internet connection, a dirty mattress, broken floor vents with sharp metal exposed that was very easy to step on, mold in showers along caulking and unclean wall. I’m reslly not sure how this could get a good review. They are unwilling to work with us to refund us or to respond even. Not luxury in the least. Misrepresented. Also there is no tv in the other 2 upstairs bedrooms as stated and all of the pictures are taken with a filter to make the rooms look big and deep.

I loved the location: neighborhood was quiet and clean. My party of 5 ( aged 64 to 79) really enjoyed the home. There was plenty of space and, best of all, the house was clean. The only complaint was the jacuzzi tub was not functioning properly. Regardless, I'd make an effort to book this home again.

It was my first time renting vaccation homes and this was extremely worth it! Me and my family had great time and will be looking forward to come back in our next vaccation. Will recommend it to anyone who likes to have a good time in cozy quite house. The contact person relplied my inquiries as needed. Would like to thank and express my satisfaction.

Everything was clean and beautiful. We had no problem getting in. It was lovely.

Very comfortable. This venue worked well for our family vacation. WE had plenty of room. Facilities were in good working order. Had plenty of cookware and dishes.

Please read this complete review. Let me say up front that you will love this property and neighborhood. I only list the negatives in order to provide an honest review. First the negatives. When we arrived at the property, the code that was given to us would not unlock the door. This was upsetting seeing as how all of us were stuck on the front porch in a strange city in a strange neighborhood. We had a party of 7. It took 20-30 minutes or so of calling the contact numbers that were given us before we got in touch with someone who gave us a new code that worked. On the third night we noticed a water leak on the first floor that was coming from the second floor. Think it was coming from second floor bathroom when someone took a shower. Had to put wastebasket with plastic liner in front of refrigerator on first floor to catch drips. Was not a big leak, just one drip at a time and it eventually stopped. But we stopped using the bathroom at top of stairs on second floor to take showers. This was very inconvenient. Called owner and he promised to send someone over to check it out. Don't know if they came or not because we were out everyday all day. Ola, the property owner was very nice when I spoke with him and tried to accommodate us. Could tell by small area of water damage on ceiling that this was not the first time this had occurred. Ola confirmed this. But it was a very small area of damage. Also, two benches out back on deck and patio should be replaced. Very worn and unstable. There was only one set of washer and dryer. Not two as advertised. With 7 people we needed two. Now, none of these things were a deal breaker for us. Other than what was mentioned the property is exactly as advertised. Gorgeous property. Plenty of room. Very comfortable beds. We were very pleased. Great neighborhood. After speaking to some of the locals we felt very comfortable walking around the neighborhood. Neighbors were very friendly. Safeway grocery store is about a mile away. We all walked to it and got supplies and called uber to come pick us up because we had bought 3 cases of water and other stuff. We used uber the whole time we were there. Never had to wait more than 6-7 min. Most arrived in 2-5 min. Much cheaper than taxi and quicker than waiting for and switching on the Metro. You will love this property and neighborhood. Don't hesitate to rent this. You will love what you get!

Family enjoyed our D.C. Stay.

We arrived at night, ready to head inside, unpack and sleep. But as soon as we turned the lights on inside, we noticed a disgusting cockroach crawling by on the floor. "Huh, its one bug it happens." Then, we saw what looked like 3-5 on the kitchen counter.... This is not okay. If you are like us and cant stand insects I would recommend you to steer away from renting this house. Also, they had the audacity not to give us a refund or respond to our calls and messeges. Why? I have no clue, maybe they expected thier guests to like bugs crawling about thier food and beds because thats normal! So we left this house and found a hotel later that night. We are extremely disapointed over the lack of sincerity and attention over this major issue.

My family stayed for only one night, but this house worked perfect for us. The location was easy to get to, in a relatively quiet neighborhood, for the city. We were a party of 10 and there was plenty of room and beds and bedding for all of us. I locked us out by entering the keycode incorrectly. It was 6:30pm, I called Ola, left him a message and he called me right back. He changed the keycode and we were inside the house within 5-10 minutes. We have a 3 year, so Ola's quick response was very helpful and the house was certainly kid friendly.

The house was amazing and great to stay in while on vacation with a large group. We were able to come right in and start relaxing. The grill was clutch and gave us the ability to do a cookout. A great location for living close to the downtown area and also traveling to other places like stores.
