Very nice stay and close to the city center

The house was as described. The hostess is really thoughtful and friendly. The house had everything we need it to be comfortable.

perfect location to do all of the "sites" in DC. I brought my son, DIL, and 4 boys 8 - 6 years old. We had so much fun. I was concerned about the amount of walking, as one of the littles has some leg problems. He was able to keep up, even in the heat. Easy to navigate to many places from this location.
The towels are soooo nice. Everything was as described on the listing - except the Hot Tub. Looks like it may have been the back yard. Not really a problem, it was too hot to use! The beds were very comfortable and the pull out couch beds were perfect for the "big" boys. The kitchen was more than adequate. Super neighborhood.
Great markets close, Eastern Market has a great selection of everything you need to make a great meal.
The owner gave us great instructions and had a variety of information about things to do in DC.
I would stay here again!

Location is fantastic. Short walk to Union Station; right next to good restaurants. H Street corridor is fun. Host provided a lot of extras that I am not used to having, including umbrellas and mosquito repellent. Great, detailed communication. The house itself is in great shape, which is not true of many other places I have stayed in the same area.

We loved the location of this house. The neighborhood is great. Short walk to public transportation too.
4.8
House has a great location for using the metro or walking to attractions. Roselyn was awesome to work with. We had a great time.
4.8
We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful place. So accessible to downtown DC we could go out and have some fun. Not far from University of Maryland where graduations were. Great time was had by y’all thank you. We had a wonderful time up at Union Station. Such a nice easy walk and also a quick walk to Trader Joe’s.!!
4.8
The location was fantastic. Good selection of restaurants and grocery shopping nearby. Within reasonable walking distance for many of the sites. The property was well kept and well stocked. Plenty of towels, pillows, and most anything you need in the kitchen.
I would definitely recommend.
4.8
Lovely quirky house in ideal spot for exploring Washington. Close to all the sights and amenities.
Plenty of space for my family if 5 adults to spread out. As mentioned before, stairs a little steep but no problem for us. Plenty of thoughtful extras such as shower gel etc.
Would definitely rebook when we visit Washington again

Easy access to everything. Owner was very responsive and attentive to our needs. House was clean and had everything we needed!
4.8
Nice place, convenient to everything.

The property is as described. Great location. Walked to U. Station to ride the bus to the Mall every day, and close enough to walk as we had to do one day due to a marathon. But it was easy, and a great way to see the city. The house had everything to make the stay comfortable. Certainly would consider this house again, if visiting the DC area. Better than staying in a hotel. Safe neighborhood and neighbors friendly. And food just a few blocks away if you don't like cooking.
4.8
The property was beautifully decorated, filled with character, carefully stocked with amenities, and a pleasure to return to after a long day of touring DC. Our group was large and varied in age from 77 to 12; everyone loved the house.

We enjoyed our stay at Roselyn’s property. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Roselyn was very helpful and responsive every time we communicated with her. We are very happy with our experience and would recommend it to others.
4.8
Everything about the stay was easy and worked out great. Beds were nice, everything was clean and pristine.
Negatives were the shower situation, clearly retrofitted in and in a terrible, cramped manner. Also the lack of blinds let light in aggressively, ruining asleep if you're used to darkened rooms.
The location is peak though. Union Market is a short walk away and highly recommend.
Good stay

We loved our stay in Roselyns house. She was always really prompt with answering our questions, gave us some great tips for our stay. The house is lovely, close to grocery shops and metro. Some nights were a bit louder, but in general a nice neighborhood.

This was a very nice home with a 5 star host. The location is about a 30 minute walk to Union Station where you can conveniently get just about anywhere in the city. The home itself could use a little TLC in higher cost areas (such as the deck and a couple ceilings), but those repairs could be coming down the road and did not affect our trip in any way. The home was clean, well put together and had things most VRBOs don’t (such as an ice maker, nice kitchen stuff, and a printer that came in very handy when we realized we needed to have our White House passes printer and could not use our phones). It had plenty of towels and other accessories that most homes just go without because they can. You can tell this host puts the comfort of her guests as if they were family. If I was going to stay in DC again, I would book this home immediately and wouldn’t even think twice. Definitely recommend sitting on the porch one night. It was a very relaxing location.

We brought our kids to Washington DC for the first time and were very pleased with our experience. The property was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the location. We were able to walk to a lot of the things we wanted to see. We also utilized the metro and DC Circulator which was easy to get to from the house. Roselyn was wonderful! Very responsive and gave us a lot of good tips to make our stay even more enjoyable. Great overall experience!

Rosalyn was very responsive to communication. The house was nice and clean. It is an older home, but has been updated. The stairs were a little challenging due to narrowness. We would stay here again!
4.8
The unit was very roomy for the five of us. The showers were very small. I had read the review and I expected it. If you are a large person, you may have a hard time taking a shower. Overall we had a great time.
4.8
Perfect! We were an older group and enjoyed the house. Well stocked and a good location. We would stay again.
4.8
I loved that this VRBO made me feel like I was a resident of DC for a few days. The house is older and had unique characteristics like interior brick walls. I enjoyed the location and loved having 2 bathrooms along with 3 bedrooms. The communication with our host was timely and extremely helpful. The showers are a bit small but that doesn't surprise me based on the age of the house.

This was a very lovely, and comfortable vacation rental for an early May 2023 visit to Washington. Roselyn has anticipated very well what visitors might need - tons of fluffy white towels, shower gels, soaps and shampoos, sunscreen, and a fully equipped kitchen, with ice maker. Washer and dryer worked very well. Roselyn responded to messages and phone calls very promptly. The condition of the property is exactly as depicted in the photos. As others have mentioned, the stairs to the bedrooms are narrow and steep, and there are stairs leading from the street to the house. The two showers are narrow. These features did not pose any serious problems, however, they could for others who are not able to navigate the stairs; the showers could pose a challenge to tall or larger build folks.
The location is excellent, close to Union Market, Trader Joe's, CVS, and the NoMa metro stop, and more. It's a quiet, residential neighborhood, including families with children. Felt safe to walk everywhere.
In my research for vacation rentals for the Washington, DC NoMA neighborhood, it seems that a large number are managed by corporations that use management firms which might or might not be responsive to renters's concerns. This property provides a good amount of living space and good sized bedrooms, supplied with nearly everything one would need, with a host who is very responsive and welcoming. And the price is excellent. The stay here was very enjoyable.

Cute little townhouse but it could be more comfortable for sure. The couch situation is not really enough for the number of people who can stay in the place. (Kids can only walk so long and an evening move would have been nice to pull off) And the curtains in 2/3 rooms are white and don’t really block any actual light. So as soon as the sun is up so are the kids! I think the price was nice but I’d roll the dice on a different property inextricably time rather than stay here again.
Also I’m not sure if the house meets fire code for egress as the windows upstairs don’t seem to open at all (we had a kitchen fire because someone before us stored an oven mitt in the oven). Which is also not comforting.

Super easy process. House is cute and convenient. Owner was very flexible, helpful and pleasant to deal with.

My family and I had wonderful stay in Noma. The neighborhood was beautiful during the fall as the leaves were changing color and falling. There was easy access to the metro and bus lines, but to be honest, we found it pretty easy to catch rides from the ridesharing apps during off-peak times. The place was very clean and the master bedroom had the comfiest bed! My family of 5 had plenty of room to relax and get ready. It was great to unwind in the living room after a long day of monument sight seeing and museums. We also found it easy grabbing snacks and food at the local Whole Foods and restaurants. Overall, a great stay!
4.8
Very well maintained home but it is quirky. The house was well stocked with kitchen & bathroom essentials and Wi-Fi was good. The neighbor is good (we have family that live near by). Street parking can be tricky…be patient and a space will eventually open. The communication with the host was flat out amazing. As for the quirkiness , it almost seemed like someone smooshed it in between two larger houses. Two things to note, steep & narrow stairs & showers are small, no pairing up :)
4.8
Great location, within walking distance of Union Station and lots of the main sights. Having Wholefoods a close walk away was a bonus. Roselyn was excellent to deal with and provided very useful information to help us navigate Washington. It was extremely hot during our stay, but the aircon kept the house at a good temperature. Thanks Roselyn we really enjoyed our stay!

I spent a weekend with friends at this property and it was perfect. It’s definitely an older home, but it is well maintained and very comfortable. We had some issues with the AC when we arrived. But I messaged the host and she got window units installed while we were at dinner that night. It was very clean and had everything we needed to do basic cooking. The location is great if you plan to take cabs or Ubers. Would highly recommend this property!

Great Stay
This house was perfect for our family trip to DC. The location was perfect for taking the metro or bus. We enjoyed that the grocery store was so close and there were great restaurants within walking distance.

The property isn't a dump but it also wasn't a place we would stay again. Don't want to be unfair because it wasn't expensive, so you'll get what you pay for. The exterior of the house was foreboding to the point that we almost kept driving to a hotel rather than enter. The fence is falling down, the front door appears to have had a direct assault, and the yard was overgrown. When we entered, we saw gleaming hardwood floors and a nice kitchen as the smell of febreze permeated. We sat down on an elderly chaise since there was no couch and a spring stuck us in the back. We observed small holes in the walls of almost every room, some patched badly and some not at all. The air conditioning worked great in the downstairs living room but not in the bedrooms (all upstairs and it was really hot). The towels, sheets and bedding are new but the beds are old, swampy and incredibly uncomfortable. There were new vanities but showers were quite old and so tiny you could not bathe without touching the walls, the water either scalding or freezing. This is not a newly updated house unless new vanities, polished floors and a kitchen backsplash count and is not in Capitol Hill. That being said, it was not expensive and a decent amount of space for DC. If you do not mind not extremely super mushy beds, challenging bathing, and no air conditioning, then the rest was fine.

This house is located really well for capitol mall sightseeing (walkable) and the metro station, and is also very quaint. The downstairs is quite spacious for lots of people, and the beds are very comfortable. There’s a big grocery store and delicious restaurants (also easily walkable) a few blocks away. The free parking pass is a Godsend. We even fired up the grill for burgers one night and also spent some time lounging on the front porch. It was a great family spot and I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Roselyn!

This property has a great location - close to so much in the city and easy to get out of town to see sites beyond. Up and coming older neighborhood close to restaurants and shopping. The host is absolutely helpful and responsive. She provided a parking permit for street parking. We were a group of senior citizens so we struggled with steps from the street and very narrow and steep stairs to second floor. My husband is XX-large so did not fit in the shower. We were aware - so knew there would be challenges. Again it's all about location!
