This historic yet modernly renovated condo provides the ultimate home-away-from-home experience with unmatched hospitality. You can relax with comfortable beds, blackout curtains, a relaxing couch, high-speed WiFi, and Hulu + Live TV channels.
We've maintained the character of this historic 1920's building, while completely updating and renovating the interior. This first floor condo has large double-hung windows that let in an abundance of light in all the rooms. Additionally, the original refinished hardwoods, bathroom tile, graceful arched doorways and two-panel doors provide the charm so often absent in new construction.
Relax in the spacious living room featuring a large, upholstered sofa and a flatscreen television with streaming and Live TV. Enjoy the artwork by local artist Nico Amortegui, well-known for large-scale paintings and installations throughout NC and The Smithsonian.
The kitchen features a gourmet gas range, a convection oven, a refrigerator with an ice maker, a dishwasher, and a stackable washer and dryer. Granite countertops complete the kitchen, which comes fully equipped with essentials such as measuring cups, spoons, mixing bowls roasting pans and garlic press. The adjacent dining room comfortably seats four with all the place settings. The screen porch area is perfect for sitting and drinking some morning coffee or tea.
A desk and ultra-fast Wi-Fi enable business travelers to stay plugged into their busy schedules.
The main bedroom has a king-sized bed with a television and a generous closet. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a flatscreen television. The twin beds can be pushed together to create one king sized bed. Furnishings may vary slightly from photographs as we periodically update. The bathroom is spotless and features plush towels. Included in our amenity package are a starter supply of Nest bath products as well as detergents.
The building has a shared patio that includes a grill, tables, and chairs. This is the perfect spot to have a cookout with your party while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

The residence is in a building that has eight units. This unit is on the first floor. The building is old and not soundproof. Hence you are constantly hearing the people above and next to you. Given the buildings age, the Jack and Jill bathroom is very small ( just a sink, no vanity) and you can barely close the door to use the toilet. All the doors stick. All the floors creak. There is nothing luxury about this unit.we stayed two weeks and got little to no sleep given the night owls making noise above and around us. For the amount charged per night, it was a HUGE disappointment. Several mornings during our stay a man hoisted a 30 ft ladder outside our window at 6:30am to check the raccoon infestation in the attic. The carpeting in the hallways is old and stained. Renter beware.

Our family of four with a small pet stayed here for three nights. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The shared bathroom is small but we made it work. We were able to take long walks in the morning with our dog safely. The place is near a busy road and the sounds machine in the bedroom with the tail beds worked perfect. The only thing I would change are the blinds in the twin beds room as there is a street light which shines in brightly. The location is close to downtown, great restaurants and was a quick drive to Carowinds.

VRBO was clean. No issues with property. Communication with owner/managers was terrible. Computer generated responses. Issues with uploading information. After 2 days of trying to get a human, the one I talked with was short and rude. Have used VRBO before with no issues. However, I will definitely reconsider in the future.

This was a great location close to downtown and super comfortable beds!

Fantastic location! Comfortable bed. Check in was easy. It is an old historic property so you can hear heavy footed upstairs guests walking and other people talking in their units. Super cute unit. Could use a head to toe cleaning ( dusty blinds, light bulbs out in closets) Paint touch ups on doors. Also, both bedrooms are under street lights and the light comes through blackout shades on sides .. so if that bothers you.. bring a sleep mask! Ample parking. Despite being an old building, I would 100% stay there again!!!

My husband and I had a great stay here. My only complaint was checking in. We had dinner at 6pm and when we arrived at 5:15, I hadn’t received an email or message on VRBO about checking in. I called and had a very responsive and nice representative who sent over the paperwork right away, but my irritation was that I had to do all of the signing of documents at 5:15 in the parking lot when I wish they had sent over everything earlier in the day. A small misstep as the apartment was wonderful, clean, in a great neighborhood and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Best Place To Stay In Charlotte
I highly recommend this condo! It’s very clean, totally stocked with anything you need, perfectly located and the beds are all amazingly comfortable! The art is fun and my son loved discussing the paintings. The property managers went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The communication was easy and they checked in to see if we needed anything. Overall, this place is a 10 out of 10!

Perfect Place
Stayed for 10 days and had a great stay! Unit was clean and well thought out. Each BR and Den had a TV with cable. MBR even has a sound machine and King bed. There were starter food items when we arrived. Perfect place to stay for extended stays. Property manager was very helpful and accommodating. Bathroom is a jack and Jill. Stackable was her and dryer in the kitchen closet. Would stay here again!

Home away from home
My family and I loved 500 Queens. The decor was beautiful with original artwork throughout the condo. The place had everything we needed to cook meals and Charlie, as well as the rest of the crew were very attentive to our needs. Will definitely recommend to friends and family over staying in a hotel.

It was a great place in the perfect location and had everything we needed and then some. All the amenities you would expect with special touches with a bottle of wine and snacks to welcome us. One of the best vrbo's we've stayed in yet.

Fun and comfortable space with thoughtful touches throughout
Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at this well-located and very comfortable apartment. The space is tastefully designed. The king-sized bed with silky soft sheets and wonderful pillows provided a great night's sleep. The sound system and televisions throughout were great. We enjoyed the attractive kitchen with seating. The screen porch was very pleasant on a lovely spring weekend. Appreciated the desk and lightening. Additional welcoming touches included food, fruit and wine, all of which allowed us to enjoy our stay and avoid a trip to the grocery store! The location was great and allowed for walks through pretty neighborhoods and visits to fabulous restaurants. There are also many churches within 5 minutes, if your stay includes a Sunday. Thank you Charlie for your help and professionalism; we will return.

Wonderful location in Charlotte
This is my 2nd stay at the same apartment with my family. Everything in the listing description is quite accurate. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here once again!! The hosts made us feel so welcome, we had a few items of groceries so we could have a quick bite in the morning before heading out. Very thoughtful elements from the hosts are everywhere to make us feel very comfortable, in this Home Away from Home. We arrived late into the night yet access was very easy with very good instructions how to enter the secured building. I love the neighborhood with nice walking paths or to ride your bicycle, easy access to stores, restaurants and highways. Even though you are close to the highways you feel far away because of the tranquility of the neighborhood. We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to visit again quite soon!!

My family and labradoodle really enjoyed our stay in Queens Terrace! The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable 4 day visit to Charlotte. I mean everything was provided (dish/laundry detergent, snacks, drinks, local papers and much more).
This is a very convenient location with stores and restaurants just down the street. We will definitely stay here when we visit Charlotte again!
Thanks for the great Apartment!
