My young daughter and I loved our first visit to Banana Tree Bungalow so much in 2021 that we decided to return with my mum for a second visit in 2024. The location is perfect to visit Pigeon and Galleon beaches and enjoy the tropical walks to Rendezvous Bay or Shirley Heights. The bungalow suited all three generations in our family. We enjoyed breakfasts on the veranda and games in the shade or in the garden. The housekeeper and owner are both very kind and welcoming. We will likely return for a third visit soon!

The bungalow is really comfortable, very well equipped and in a super location. Communication with Tracey and housekeeper Beverley was great. The house is a little tired and there are a few things that need attention, but we had a great, relaxing stay regardless and it is still excellent value. There is a lovely lady (Corona) with a food stall at the end of the road - super convenient and the food is great value and really tasty. Happy to recommend staying here!

Ideal Bungalow
The view from the veranda is beautiful and a spacious area to relax. The location was just what we wanted as our boat was within walking distance to the marina. The WiFi worked great. The mosquitoes were minimal inside the house and having air-conditioning was an added bonus for us as a lot of places we rent there are without. Enjoyed the BBQ and the kitchen was well equipped to make meals. Wish we had found this house sooner as weʻve been coming to Antigua for many years. Would definitely be staying here again!

Visit to beautiful Antigua
Banana Tree Bungalows are well maintained and clean, and are in an excellent location on the quieter side of the island in Falmouth with stores and activities nearby. Communications with the owner and contact person on the island were efficient and they responded to all our inquiries quickly. We would stay at the bungalows again.

The Villa is beautifully decorated , very clean and the perfect solution for couples, family and friends. Five minutes away from one of the best area in Antigua, English Harbour. Communication with Tracey & Owen has been easy and they are very helpful in case of need. I can only confirm the best reviews that have been written by the previous guests. Strongly recommended.

And Yes! Perfection exists!
You know when you rent a HA or Airbnb house and you always have the feeling that it misses all the small little attentions and touches to be just perfect? Well our Banana Tree cottage was the exact opposite: the most perfect vacation rental of all times, and we have had a lot. The place is totally beautiful, exactly as you see in the pictures if not better (the sea view is much nicer and the sea much closer that what you assume looking at the pics). Everything is really comfortable, decorated with taste and the house has a fascinating soul.
Reading the previous review, I can't figure out how someone can say something negative about this place, or the hosts. Of course if you look for a resort type of experience, go in a resort, but Banana Tree is perfect if you are looking for:
- the perfect location, close to wonderful English harbour, strategic for vsiting all the island and reaching all the beaches and best places in Antigua and faraway from the mass tourism crap you can find in the northwestern beach resorts such as Dickinson or Jolly Harbour (Don't miss Catherine's at Pigeon Point, Nelson Dockyards, Cloggys at the marina in English Harbour, Shirley Heights Sunday party, some of the most attractive things to do in Antigua and all at max 10 mins from the house).
- the perfect house, complete of any possible amenity you may need (like, they have more things in the kitchen than I have in my cooking addict one).
- The best possible ever quality/price balance. This house is incredibly well priced compared to what you can find in expensive Antigua.
- The most attentive and kind host: Tracey was outstanding all over our stay, answering all of our questions and giving us a massive amount of precious information
- A beautiful, peaceful garden with colibris and butterfly and a sunset view
What else? This place met and greatly exceeded our expectations and made our stay in Antigua truly unforgettable. I feel blessed and lucky too have found it on HA. Don't miss it if you are planning a stay in Antigua.

Our stay at Banana Tree Bungalow December 2018
- Coffee machine was broken and replaced after 5 days (neighbour machine at our request)
- Air condition in the second bedroom works only on 23 degrees
- Ventilator in the second bedroom is broken
- Television in the master bedroom is not working (taken away and never replaced)
- There is a least one mouse in the house (we saw it, dirt behind the oven an on the kitchen tray)
- Toilet leaked, was fixed after 3 weeks, the plumber told us, that it leaked for months
- Terrace was never wiped
- Interior looks 20 years older than on the pictures displayed

Well situated cottage with all amenities.
Wonderful cottage, although close to all the nightlife, fabulous restaurants and the historic Dockyard, there was a level of privacy that was ideal for my family.

Very enjoyable stay
Really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow which is ideally located with beautiful views of Falmouth Harbour and surrounding hills. The extensive verandah was our favourite spot. Tracey met us on our arrival at the house and was very helpful throughout the vacation. A lot of thought and effort has been put into the bungalows to make them comfortable and functional for guests.

EXCELLENT SEJOUR

Wonderful cottage in great location
I feel terrible that we are just now getting to writing this review, but better late than never. We spent ten days at Banana Tree Bungalow for our honeymoon. It was our first time to Antigua (or any tropical island), so we wanted to do something other than a big resort. Banana Tree was absolutely perfect for everything we needed. First off, the view from the bungalow is beautiful. We loved the location and the side of the island it was on. The bungalows feel extremely safe as it has a gated fenced in yard and alarm (safety is very important to my wife). We rented a Jeep so we could get around the island on our own time, which was well worth it to us. With the location it was in we could get to anywhere on the island in a timely manner. There is a store within walking distance so you can get some basic groceries. There is also quite a few places to eat within walking or short driving distance. Close by is Sweet T's, which is where we went a lot for lunch when we wanted something quick to eat. We loved how close the bungalows were to our favorite beach, Rendezous Bay. It is difficult to get to, but well worth it if you have 4WD to get there or willing to hike. We had no problem getting our Jeep there. However, the first trip we were quite nervous, but after we made it the first time it was easy all the others. We can not recommend the bungalows enough. It is a perfect setting for people looking to get away and relax. Plus, Antigua is a very special island that we can't wait to get back to. We day dream all the time about sitting out on the veranda looking out into that wonderful view.

Great location, comfortable accommodation plus friendly helpful owners.
We spent a lovely week at Banana Tree Bungalows. Tracy sent loads of useful information before we arrived so we already knew what we wanted to do. On our arrival and through out our stay she was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bungalow has great views of Falmouth Harbour, is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Everything was perfect and we had a lovely time.

Lovely bungalow with great views;
This was our second year staying in these bungalows, and both are excellent. The owners are delightful, greet you upon arrival and are great guides to the area. The cottages are tastefully furnished (sort of a Pottery Barn/Pier One look) - quite charming with very nice linens and towels. Although we ate most of our meals out, the kitchens are well-equipped with everything that you need.
The front porch is a wonderful spot - expansive with a large dining table and a comfortable sitting area with large couches. A great view of Falmouth Harbor and the yachts at anchor.
You'll need a car (although I think there are buses), and you are within minutes of historic English Harbor and Falmouth - with dozens of restaurants to choose from. Lots of beaches nearby. On our last day, we discovered Papa's Restaurant within walking distance - another local gem with a pool and beach on the harbor.
The cottages are immaculate with nice grounds. A housekeeper comes in mid-week to clean and change linens and towels.
We were two couples, and despite the one bathroom, it worked well for us.

Fantastic fortnight !
Tracey so helpful and welcoming; bungalow comfortable and tastefully decorated. Roomy fridge/freezer and useful icebox for collecting groceries, and a laundry room. Efficient air conditioning.
Cool veranda with great view over harbour - spent hours watching the boats. Plenty of wildlife to spot. We were really careful with keeping the door shut and didn't get any mosquito bites.
Property quiet and secluded but grocery store close by, bus stop at the end of the lane. Papas restaurant across the main road worth a visit. We did a week of chilling and a week with a hirecar from Titi to get to the beaches.
Enjoy !

The amazing Banana Tree Bungalows!
We stayed at Tracey and Owen's wonderful bungalow for 8 days before the Antigua Charter Show. We could not have asked for a better stay from start to finish. We had the warmest of welcomes from Tracey when we arrived and the bungalow itself was furnished to a high standard, with every detail well thought out. Clearly Tracey and Owen know what they're doing, and how to make your stay very special. The view from the Bungalows is stunning - beyond our expectation and we spent many a morning and evening out on the veranda enjoying the view. One evening we had a BBQ with a few friends which was great fun, and Tracey even went to the trouble of putting fresh flower decorations by the BBQ where we would be sitting.
Overall we cannot recommend this place enough. Fantastic location, beautifully furnished, the best hosts and an amazing view. We WILL be back to stay again!!
