We had such a lovely stay at this house! The location was great - a short drive or walk to everything that we wanted to see. The house was really wonderful - the kids were delighted to each have their own room. The backyard was perfect for outdoor meals. We had a truly wonderful visit and really appreciate having been able to stay in such a wonderful home.

The house was not the nicest place to stay. Definitely not horrible but the pictures made it look nicer than it was. I guess for the price its about what you should expect. Owner did not have washcloths out for us and didn't go out of the way to see that we got them.

The property was nice and clean. Walking distance to Niagara falls attractions and stores. Kitchen was clean. Our family enjoyed our short vacation there.
Entry to the house needed some tlc but that's a minor thing compare to everything the house offers. I loved the way owner promptly answered to my e-mail. I really appreciate it.
Beds were clean.
If I go back there I would love to stay in the same house again.

House was exactly as expected. No issues or complaints. Definitely bring shower towels if staying for more than a couple days. Bed a are firm if thats an issue for anyone else.

We enjoyed our short stay at Maison Doucet. My teenaged sons loved having their own space and we appreciated the close proximity to Tim Horton's for a quick breakfast each morning before exploring the Niagara Falls area. It's about a mile walk to the Bed & Breakfast WEGO stop and a similar walk to a delicious Italian Ice Cream shop that we highly recommend.
Victoria was a super host and responded quickly to our questions and concerns. We'd stay at Maison Doucet again the next time we visit Niagara Falls.

This house was very comfortable. Lots of spacious rooms. The house is charming...an older structure that is well decorated and furnished. House comes with everything you could need for a stay. Its not far from the Falls. If you have little kids or are not wanting a little advent, you can easily drive and park near the Falls and the activities. Would definitely return for future visits.

We booked a family vacation to Niagara Falls and decided that the Maison Doucet house sounded like a nice place to stay. We were pleased with the house. Victoria was an outstanding hostess. We had a problem with the door lock and she remedied the problem immediately. Couldn't have had a better interaction with her.
The location is great. It's close enough to all the sites in Niagara Falls, but far enough away from the chaos. It's located in a nice little walkable neighborhood.
The house is well-maintained and clean. There was plenty of room for my family. I can't say enough nice things about the house and location.
There are many local places to visit and to eat. We highly recommend stopping by Country Fresh Donuts to load up for breakfast, but get there soon. They are popular for a reason.
Lunch at Cheryl's Deli and Subs is a must. Cheryl took great care of my family. Of course, Frank's Pizzeria is a worthwhile stop. My kids liked the pizza so much, we had to go back a second time before we left.
Overall, I highly recommend the Maison Doucet if you are visiting Niagara Falls, whether you are traveling with family or friends. There is plenty of room and it is close enough to everything Niagara Falls, Canada has to offer.

The host was amazing! So accomodating with kids stuff and answering us right away over the messages. The house was clean and super close to the main tourist area we walked there easily. Only thing is the area can be a little sketchy so keep aware of your surroundings.

The house is super cute and convenient for sight seeing in the falls. The host was very communicative & even put some legos in the house for my son (what a life saver)! We appreciative to have found this property.

We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very accommodating when we needed to change the dates of our stay due to a conflict, and she also gave great advice on food shopping in the area (We need to cook all our own food when traveling). The house inside was as described. Everything was clean and well stocked and the kitchen fit our cooking needs nicely. We have two teens so it was great for us each to have our own rooms at the end of each day. The location was very close to everything we wanted to do in Niagara. It is walkable from the house to most of the major things, but we chose to get an annual parking pass ($40 and you can park everywhere in the park system vs $35 per day otherwise) so we drove the short distances to each location. The only thing that was not up to par was that the lawn/backyard and driveway were not yet mowed. We were there pre-season, so we assumed that it just hadn't happened yet (many other local houses also had longer grass as it was still relatively cold). It did not impact our stay as we had no plans to hang out on the deck or in the yard anyway. I would recommend this house for rental due to convenience, cleanliness and overall responsiveness and helpfulness of the owner. Oh, and the artwork throughout the house was great too. Very thoughtfully chosen and we highly enjoyed it!

Excellent location for what we needed, it was nice to have two 24 hour convenience stores basically in the backyard for things that we forgot. The house was cute, only issue was the stairs are very creaky so whoever was up first would wake up the others. And no hand rail for going up and down.
Owner was kind and I would definitely book here again.

Spent several nights here for Canada Games. Property was as described and met all of our needs. Well stocked with housewares. Good value and within close proximity of Clifton Hill and Falls area. We were able to walk down several times with our 10 year old daughter. Home is close to a busy street with retail so as in any city you need to make yourself aware of your surroundings. A fire table and new BBQ were installed while we there which was a nice addition to the backyard. Victoria was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

The neighborhood is a little sketchy and there’s a skunk hanging out in the driveway. The front steps were so overgrown that we couldn’t use them. The windows were open when we arrived to hide the dank smell of the house. The living room slipcovers are dirty, the sheets had hair and holes, and some of the bedspreads were stained. The towel on the bar in the bathroom was so dirty it looked like someone had used it for a month. There were some other issues, but this is getting long. On the bright side, Victoria was friendly and responded quickly!

We had a great 10 day stay in Canada for a wedding. The home was in an excellent location. The property was very clean, comfortable and ideally situated for downtown Niagara. The host quickly responded to all our questions prior to arrival which was very reassuring. I would highly recommend this property and host.

Victoria and Xoi are gracious hosts sharing their very adequate home. It was a critical time of grief for us, saying goodbye to our 101 year old mother, and with no place to stay. They were very compassionate and helpful to offer a place of security and comfort for our time in Niagara Falls. We really enjoyed the four days in their VRBO home and we thank you.

The house was clean and functional, the kitchen was well stuffed with cutlery, plates, dinnerware, etc., and the rooms were nicely decorated. Well done! The location is good with downtown and the Falls in walking distance.

Lovely home in established in neighborhood bordering commercial buildings. Short 15 minute walk to town down so no need to drive and pay parking. Loved the dining room table! We would definitely stay here again.

The house was exactly as described and within a short distance to Niagara Falls! Owner also stayed in touch to help out while we were there. Cute neighborhood with lots of food options also!

House is close to the falls. It’s about a $10 Uber ride to the Falls and to Clifton Hills. House is clean and comfy. Stairs were a little creaky but to be expected for an older home. We learned that one bathroom is not good for our family of 4 but lesson learned!! Any troubles the neighbor is super nice and able to help you with any issues.

Rented this house for a weekend trip with a small group of four. It was a nice house with a great location (close to all attractions). You had the choice of a 10 minute walk to the strip of all activities or to take an Uber that was not expensive. I would 100% rent this house again if I travel back to Niagra Falls.

My family and i stayed here over Christmas and it was a very nice house, has all the stuff needed to cook meals. We took advantage of the WEGO bus system that Canada has. The house is close enough to walk to downtown area, but it was pretty cold when we were there. I am so glad that we stayed here instead of staying in a hotel, it was nice to have a place to relax after a long day at the falls. Thank you Victoria for sharing your home with us

We had a nice weekend at this house, would have preferred a nicer neighbourhood. The house was clean, comfortable and had all the cooking items we needed to prepare our own meals. Nice short walk to all the attractions!Leon

The location was fantastic for us. The people in the neighborhood were very nice and friendly. For us it was nice to be minutes away from downtown but away from the hustle and bustle. We found the house to be nice and quiet and relaxing. Victoria was very friendly and promoted with responding to questions. We didn't have any issues and would recommend this place.
