Stepping Stones was a wonderful home very well equipped with everything you would need for your stay.
Home was very clean. Location was not far out of SWH. Nice front porch to sit out in the late afternoon and fire pit was convenient. Lovely yard with deer walking by. We enjoyed our stay.

Property has plenty of living space and nice decor. Beds are really comfy. I thought it was going to be on more of a neighborhood street but was really at the end of a narrow road through the woods. Lots of deer. Pretty cool location and easy to get around. Cell service in all of MDL is sketchy. Not related to this property only— it’s weak everywhere. Wifi was good tho!

Would stay here again. The kitchen was the best supplied for cooking of any VRBO we have stayed in. We spent our days hiking and being active. This was a great place to relax in the evening in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds. We had one small issue that was handled promptly and with courtesy.

We booked this house for the summer vacation and we loved it. It is close to everything but far enough away to be nice and quiet. We didn't do much cooking, but the house was furnished with all of the stuff needed to cook if you want to. We sat out by the fire pit every night. I picture of the living room doesn't really show how room it is. We were pleasantly surprised at how much room there was.

The property is just as described by the listing with all the necessities (pack your own bathroom essentials such as shower gel/shampoo though) and comfort. The location is about 30 minutes drive to Bar Harbor, the island’s commercial center, however the local town (Southwest Harbor) is very quaint, and has great restaurants and bakeries. The Common Good Soup Kitchen serves very good popover on the mornings of Friday - Sunday! Charlotte’s Legendary Lobster is just couple of minutes drive away from the cottage, and has very good lobster dishes. All in all, we had a wonderful time in Acadia National Park, and this house certainly contributed to the experience.

This was my in-laws’ first trip to Maine and we wanted the experience to be as cozy and enjoyable as possible. This beautiful home was the perfect place for us to stay. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked with all the tools we needed to prepare several meals during our stay. The beds are comfortable and having two bathrooms was a huge time saver. Oh, and laundry! That was great. We were all able to pack a little less since we knew we could do a load. The living room is very welcoming and we enjoyed eating our meals at the dining table. At night, the fire pit was peaceful with the accompanying trickle from the frog pond to help us wind down from a busy day of exploring. The location down the street from the Seawall is perfect. My husband and I enjoyed running along it each morning, and one evening we took a sunset stroll with my in-laws as well. It was gorgeous. The proximity to Bar Harbor is great. It’s not too close that you’re in the busy mix but close enough that it’s truly just a short drive. And the drive is so nice: lots of handy little shops along the way as well as scenic. Our dog also loved playing fetch out in the yard. It was the perfect stay and we’ll definitely be booking again. I’d love to bring my parents next!

Our first trip to the Acadia National Park area in Maine was even better due to the incredible home we booked. The location was perfect, the house had everything we needed for our week. The house is tucked in to a wonderful wooded neighborhood, close to Seawall beach and the magic of nature. After long days of hiking it was so nice to come back our home and relax outside at the fire pit and watch the deer, red squirrels, and incredible numbers of birds come and go. We definitely will stay here again! Thanks Amy, your home exceeded our expectations.

The interior design was absolutely adorable. The outside space was well used and well loved by us! Lots of deer also lots of neighborhood cats lol Amy was amazing to work with. There were three or four discrepancies between the vrbo listing and the binder but nothing at all that was an unreasonable request. Very very simple check out instructions. absolutely loved it. Only mentioning it so you are not surprised! Highly recommend!

My family and I absolutely LOVED our visit and the home was AMAZING!! This was our first visit to Maine and one of the best things about our visit was this home! It is in such a quiet and beautiful area backing up to trees with a calming water feature in the front. The home was exceptionally clean and everything was just as pictured.
Trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park were an easy driving distance and we took full advantage of the fire pit to sit and relax and reflect on the day’s adventure. The weather was just beautiful and we had the windows open through the night to take in the fresh/cool air.
We would highly recommend this property. Amy was very thorough in her communications and responded quickly to our questions. Thank you!!!

Perfect for our family of four. The house was spotless and adorable. It is tucked away off the beaten path giving us lots of privacy and peacefulness. Lovely to see deer in the yard. Amy was a great host, even buying a cornhole game when inquiring if she had one. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed...even cooked our own lobster. Well stocked towels too. Usually not the case. Great location to everything. Southwest Harbor is a cute town and very close. Would highly recommend and stay again. Thank you Amy!

We had a great time on Acadia thanks to Amy. The place was spotless and perfect. It's off the beaten path, quiet and peaceful.
We had deer in the yard every day, enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor grill. There is a restaurant next door that we did not try but has great reviews as well as a bakery that's a bit hard to find but looked really good too.
Amy made check-in and check-out seamless and very easy. Will come back.

Wonderful quaint house nestled in the woods in southwest bar harbor Maine. Beds were great. All redone and beautifully decorated. Fully stocked kitchen and lots of windows. Grill worked great and table to dine outside and cool fire pit. Great lighting and nice furniture and large tv. Everything about this home was perfect. Highly recommend 31 minutes drive to bar harbor and Acadia national park. Minutes from lighthouse. Deer everywhere. Host had everything ready and simple checkout.

We loved our stay at Amy’s. The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable for the four of us. The location was convenient for our hiking in and around Acadia. It was raining our whole time there, otherwise we would have enjoyed the fire pit outside by the water feature. Quiet and secluded area. We would love to stay here again if we return to the area.

Quiet, hikes close by, bring all your own kitchen supplies, none available, microwave needs a permanent fix. Had to get help with cable tv but owner got it taken care of.

The location of Seawall -- on the Quiet Side of Acadia in Southwest Harbor -- is perfect for park visitors looking to stay in an area with fewer crowds. Yet its also a very easy and quick drive to Bar Harbor and all the trails and carriage roads on the busier East Side. The house itself is spacious, clean, comfortable and well-outfitted. The two-car garage made storing our bikes --when not in use -- a breeze. And the two bathrooms, two baths, and sizeable kitchen, eating and sitting areas made it easy for my husband and I to share the space with our two friends. Our only collective nit: the water coming out of the taps and showers in both bathrooms had a noticeable Sulphur smell.
