Very good for a heavily used Mammoth condo. Lots of games, lots of kitchen appliances and dishware, good layout for a full family, or two families sharing, everything you'd need for happy stay. A few distressing signs of property management that emphasizes speed and maximizing returns--no plastic wrap, foil wrap, or food storage boxes, extremely loose toilet seat, (I fixed it with a kitchen knife, because it felt like it was about to fall off), some paint peeling below the primary bedroom window, and just a single dishwasher pod, in it's own baggie, on the counter by the world's record thinnest sponge. When I reached out to management they said I could come by the office to get another pod. Couldn't they leave a box with bunch under the sink, or if they're rationing them out, at least leave guests one pod per night of stay?

This place had everything we needed plus more. Everything worked well so there was no need to bother the host for anything. The unit is on the 2nd floor so there're stairs but not a lot. Bring quarters if you want to play arcade game or play pool in the common room by the jacuzzi. Highly recommend this unit to anyone.

This condo was large, comfortable, nicely furnished, clean and very well stocked. Carl communicated quickly and was responsive to all needs. The location was great... close to everything. The jacuzzi was wonderful. I would definitely come back here again!!

Absolutely love Horizon 4, been staying at these condos since the 90’s. Always a great time in Mammoth, been coming summers since I was a kid in the 70’s, will always be my special place, so many fabulous memories

The condo was as advertised and was actually larger than we anticipated. The only issue we had was parking towards the start of the weekend but that was mostly due the overwhelming amount of snow the town as gotten and every neighborhood was facing a shortage of parking. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family.

We booked for a week in this nice and beautiful house, (unfortunately due to a blizzard we missed two nights). Skiing was awesome. Property is clean, nice rooms, one ensuite, nice fireplace. Lots and Lots of snow, i will remember this ski trip for the rest of my life.

The communication between Carl, MSR and myself were very good. The Condo was clean and the pictures depicted an accurate representation of the interior. The bus stop was right across the street, which is one of the advantages of staying at this location.

Really great place - LOVE that they had 3 nice bathrooms and the Kitchen was updated/pretty stocked with basics. Location was great. The only thing was the beds aren't great, but still would recommend for a big group going skiing!

Great condo. Went snowboarding with family and had a 5 minute walk to the red line shuttle. I recommend the stop by Vons as they have covered bus stop.

Great cozy cabin, very conveniently located to mountain. Everything we would need was stocked in the house which I really appreciate having much less successful bookings in the past. Extremely courteous and responsive host. Clear instructions posted all over property. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, the stay was nice. Quiet and central location made it easy to get anywhere quickly. Was chilly if all heaters weren't used. The master bath shower is quite small, and my 5'7" frame barely fit (I came up with a way to expand it, as it was on my mind while there). Fireplace was interesting, and would emit smoke initially until there was enough heat to pull the air up the chimney. Like I stated above, it's a pretty good place to stay.

We've rented many mountain homes over the years and we had an enjoyable stay at this condo. The condo is in a good location within walking distance to stores, bars, and restaurants and a short drive to the ski slopes. It was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen for those who like to cook in. The large dinning table was a plus and different than the one pictured in the listing. The beds were comfortable and the home furnishings and decorations had an attractive mountain feel to them. Some minor downsides as previously mentioned in other recent reviews were the washing machine and dryer did not work nor did the ice maker. These were minor inconveniences for us and we would definitely rent this condo again.

Property worked out great for our crew. The loft is very large and had its own full bath which was key for the people sleeping up there. It could use some updating but everything worked. Master bath shower is very small. Owner responded very quickly with the one check in question we had.

Carl's place is a 2nd floor condo (so no one overhead to make noise), which sleeps up to 8 people, is centrally located in the heart of Mammoth and is nicely decorated. I gave 5 stars for everything except cleanliness, as the unit was very dusty, some dishes and pots were dirty and cleaning rags were left on the stair railing . This truly did not detract from our stay, but the staff needs to step up a level considering the high nightly price paid. I would recommend Carl's place without reservation! And Carl is so responsive to any questions!

We enjoyed our stay and felt the home was very comfortable for our group of older kids and adults. Location was central to the mountain and made for quick & easy drop offs. We were looking for a budget friendly property to sleep a lot of kids and this definitely fit the bill!

The owner Carl gets right back to you when you message him which is nice. The property management needs to do a better job making sure everything works though. Hot water in master didn’t work due to a simple fix that was already reported in a past listing. We didn’t have any soap in master or dish soap in kitchen but it was a cool spot for two families with kids, since it had the loft with beds and bathroom for them.

We had great time at Carl's place. The apartment is situated next to Vons and stores. It is not walking distance to the Village but that was not an issue for us. The apartment was clean and with a fully stocked kitchen, which was perfect for us. We enjoyed the fireplace and having all the wood on the balcony was a plus. The kids had a blast playing with all the board games that were available. Thank you for hosting us

Great condo, clean and conveniently located. Only two complaints clothes dryer was not working and shower in master bathroom shower was leaking badly. I notified the management company twice and they said they would come fix it and they never did, wasting a lot of water. Other than those two details condo was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing place. We have been going to mammoth for 30+ years and and this is the best thing lace we have stayed in. Layout is great lots of places to sleep. Kitchen is fully stocked and the amount of board games they have is unbelievable.

The condo was as advertised. Very clean. 0Appears to have been recently remodeled. They did a nice job. One of the best supplied places we've stayed at - Great dishes, utensils, etc. Wasn't missing a thing. The unit is a 2nd floor unit, so stairs are involved. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor and a loft with more beds & a bath. The granddaughter loved the loft. My family also enjoyed the pool & game room area.

Right from the start Carl was very communicative. The property and the vacation was wonderful. Location is great. Property management company were very helpful, professional and convenient to get to, right down the street. I highly recommend renting this property and we'll be back!

All around enjoyable experience! This is a comfortable condo to return to after a day on the slopes. Nice upgrades throughout and an amazing game cabinet for evening entertainment. Carl was easy to work with and check in/out process was a breeze. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Great price for all that you get here - would recommend

This was my families first time in mammoth and they loved it. I go to mammoth quite often for the snow and the views because there’s nothing like snowboarding in mammoth. But this time was just amazing. We don’t typically stay on this side of the mountain but now wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s super close to everything, parking was always available, and is super close to eagle lodge. The condo was nice and cozy. Fit 7 adults and my little girl comfortably. Never had an issue with hot water, was super clean, loved how there are heaters in the bathroom. Loved the kitchen, it had everything we need and more. Carl, was amazing as well. Super accommodating and helped answer all my questions. I would definitely recommend coming here and might bring more people so we would fill the whole upstairs and downs stairs.

Finding the Management company at night was a little difficult. Once there, it was cozy and close to town and lifts. The "master bath" was really small, but overall a nice stay. Would stay there again. :)

This was a great accommodation. We were comfortable and felt at home. Carl was great, welcoming, generous, easy-going and a great communicator. The check in process was super simple, not at all an inconvenience, same for check out. The unit was roomy, beds comfortable, kitchen with all we could need. We were in close proximity to market, shops, and the mountain as well as many shuttles, however in being conscientious of CoVid we drove versus utilizing shuttles. Parking never an issue always had the same front door spots (two) at our ready. Can not say enough and would most certainly return ~ Our girls said can we come in the summer ~ I thought, why not. You can not go wrong renting this unit, enjoy as we sure did.
