Ideal location for exploring the area, Canterbury only 3 miles, Whitstable and Herne Bay are easily accessible. . Ground Floor:

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating (£35per week, £20 per short break October 1st–27th March) gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Sitting-out area with garden furniture. Table tennis. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . Ideally situated for exploring Canterbury and the surrounding countryside, this two storey holiday property is a completely self contained part of the owner’s home in a residential area. It comprises a living/dining room with a cosy wood burner for additional heating on cooler evenings, and a well equipped kitchen all on the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with twin beds giving flexibility for adults and children. A shower room completes the picture.
Located approximately 3 miles from Canterbury city centre, but with rural views from the bedroom windows and patio. Leave the car at home and take the bus or train into Canterbury and visit the majestic cathedral. Enjoy a boat ride on the River Stour, or explore the city’s old quarter with its restaurants and shops.
There are many castles in Kent, all worthy of a visit. Hever Castle, built in the 13th century, is double moated and has award winning gardens. Dover Castle was founded in the 11th century, and Leeds Castle and Whitstable Castle are also worth a visit. Whilst in Whitstable, why not try the oysters. There is even an annual oyster festival held in the town!.
Alternative days out include Port Lympne Zoo and Howlett’s Zoo, and if you want a day off from site seeing, why not spend a day on one of the many beaches to be found around the Kent coastline. Spot seals off the coast at Herne Bay or visit the Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve. Beach 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 miles.
