About this apartment rental
This end unit condo is located in the convenient Lake Forest Glen complex right outside of Tahoe City on the north shore. You are close to dining, shopping, ski areas, and the lake. In the summer, you have access to the HOA swimming pools, tennis courts, pickleball courts, playground, gazebo, lawn area, hot tub and sauna. There is one pool for adults and one for families. The hot tub and sauna are available year round and is open for family use. This location is walkable to two beaches: beautiful Skylandia State Park & Beach with pier, and Lake Forest Beach.
This 2-bedroom unit has an updated kitchen and updated bathrooms. There is a breakfast bar at the granite counter to easily serve meals direct from the kitchen, or to chat with the cook while they are busy cooking up a storm. The comfy sofa and armchairs are situated to watch the large flat-screen TV, or to cozy up with a book while the gas fireplace comfortably heats the room. There is one full bathroom with shower on the entry level. There is a nice quiet back deck area that is fenced with a BBQ to enjoy dining outdoors in the fresh mountain air. Upstairs are two bedrooms that share a full bathroom in the hall. The queen bed is new and the second bedroom has two twins.
2 Cars can be parked in front of Condo, and 1 in the overflow lot. (3 max) - Additional cars subject to a daily fee of $100.
PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. Wells & Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in.
Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.

Visited with my family for ski week, this was just right for us - had everything we needed, right down to a British tea kettle on the stove! Lots of well thought out helpful notes to answer questions about how to make things work, where to find things. And more power outlets for chargers than I've ever seen! Had a great stay - thanks so much for being excellent hosts

I’m rather surprised by all of the 5-star ratings on this property. We’ve stayed at the Lake Forest Glen condos a few times and appreciate the pool, proximity to Tahoe City, and Skylandia beach nearby.
This property needs a deep cleaning (downstairs carpet had many large stains, there were cobwebs in the popcorn ceilings), a fresh coat of paint, and streamlining of the tv/dvd/remotes/cords. I’m sure the unit was sanitized but it didn’t really feel clean.
This rental is very affordable! Just some routine maintenance and new linens would go a long way for guests’ comfort.

Okay for a few nights
Plus side: Good location, quiet, comfortable beds, adequately equipped.
Negative: Older unit a little run-down. Furniture beat up, old shag carpet, dishes need to be replaced.

Cozy condo in a quiet neighborhood, with walking distance to Skylandia beach and Lake Forest beach. A few min drive to down town Tahoe City. This place is not big but is good enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to visit again next time.

Classic Tahoe condo style rental with low maintenance appliances, decor and surroundings. Enjoyed the spacious living room area and the outdoor deck was key for evenings spent grilling, conversing and with the hopes of seeing stars, sans smoke. I would suggest maybe adding another wine glass or two since there was only one. Location was easy and in arms reach to Tahoe City. Back of the property faces the communal dumpster so you may get a crowd of people from time to time. Also saw a Black Bear rummaging through it on night one, that was a nice surprise! The space is within walking distance to Sugar Pine Cafe, expect long lines! You could also take a walk down to Dollar Point Beach which was super convenient and nice!

We enjoyed our stay
Comfortable unit close to downtown Tahoe City, Alpine and Squaw. Big shout out to Chris Krueger from the management. Cable box didn't work on Saturday, Super Bowl was Sunday, and the cable company couldn't come out with a new box until Monday. Chris came over and gave us his personal Amazon TV Fire Stick so we could watch the game.
A suggestion to the management company is to use the key lock box at the front door instead of having renters have to stop by the management company office to pick up the key and then having to drop the key back off again after checking out.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great stay!
Extremely clean and well appointed. Pretty much had everything we needed for the kitchen with grocery store close by. Really enjoyed our weekend there. Management was proactive and called ahead to see if we had any questions. Checkout instructions were clear. Would definitely stay again.

We were late arriving, and communication with property manager was timely. Info about keys gave us peace of mind. We had difficulty locating property manager and the property in the dark, but after asking at a couple businesses that were open, we did find our way. Our stay was wonderful after that. Thank you.

Nice property great neighborhood
This was a nice well stocked home in a great location loved the neighborhood and HOA amenities. Over all the home was nice but could use a little freshening up with fresh paint on the walls to give it a cleaner brighter appearance.

Girls weekend!
Blankets were a little dusty, but beds & everything else was clean! Overall a great little spot! Facility hot tub was great! Would totally book again!

Very comfortable and cosy!
The unit had everything we needed especially given we were rained out of one day of skiing! (We were able to settle in and watch the championship NFL games instead, on the TV that worked just fine...!)
Would definitely recommend as it is very convenient to town and ski locations.

The condo was in a very good location near Tahoe City and a couple of blocks from dollar point. The condo was a bit squeeky and needed some maintenance in the upstairs bathroom. Overall it was an ok place.

Great location and prosperty management co.
The place was small but perfect for a snow ski trip for my husband and two kids. There's a ski locker on porch which made it super easy to load up each morning. There's an awesome organic bakery within walking distance, too. #bonus

Great little cabin, it was perfect for 3 people. Location was pretty good, couple of short hiking trails around, pool and jacuzzi were a bonus.

Cozy condo
This property was great, exactly what we were looking for in a cozy winter getaway for 3.
Modern kitchen. No problems with wifi. Comfortable beds (one queen, two twin). Nice wrought iron stove (gas) for warming your toes after a chilly day on the slopes. The dining area is a breakfast bar.
I wouldn't call it spacious, but it made up for that with a feeling of coziness, which I would prefer on a cold winter day.
One complaint is that the heat was very uneven. You had to crank it up to get warm downstairs, and then the upstairs was roasting. Not really a problem as long as you aren't trying to use the downstairs (kitchen, living room) and upstairs (bedrooms) at the same time. Also the heater is fairly loud upstairs.
One of my favorite things was how on-top-of-it Wells and Bennett was! The welcome packet that we picked up was detailed. (Heed their warning to not use wifi to find the condo.) They called to check on us, and were very helpful when we called them with a question - they knew the property well. We almost got snowed in (80 was closed the morning we left, but fortunately it opened up around noon), and they were very helpful.

Tahoe Getaway
We enjoyed our stay and found the condo inviting. The access to the pool was a great add, the beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with the basics. The location is close to Tahoe City for shopping, but removed enough that you can take walks in the woods and to the lake.
