About this house rental

This vacation home offers 2 bedrooms with King Size beds, 1 bedroom with Queen Size bed, 2 bunk beds with double on the bottom and single on top. Home sleeps 12 people. Home has a open floor plan for entertaining. Fully stocked kitchen. Special features, 50" flat screen TV in living room, flat screen in all bedrooms and family room. Directv in all rooms, high speed internet/Wi-Fi, AC, Washer and Dryer, DVD players, games, toys.

Enjoy Lake view from the 10 x 35 foot deck in the upper section of the house. You may also bring your boat or rent a boat at the local Marina. You can fish or swim from our private dock. If you enjoy golf Lakeside golf course is around the corner. Restaurant, Grocery Stores within 2 miles from home. Fire pit, Charcoal grill lower deck and Gas grill located upper deck
Lake Milton 1,685 acre reservoir offers the best in boating, swimming, fishing which is popular for the stocked, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Channel Catfish, Smallmouth Bass, Brown Bullhead, Yellow Perch, White Bass, and Muskellunge. A Ohio fishing license is required. Lake Milton is a unlimited horsepower Lake.

Craig Beach offers a 600 foot beach, restrooms, change booths, showers, playground, basketball court, and sand volleyball court. Lake Milton also features a 1.25 mile nature trail and paved bike/ walking path. Lake Milton is a great lake to enjoy all types of water sports such as water skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, jet ski, and kayaking.

Lake Milton is located in Northeastern Ohio just 45 minutes from Akron, 1 hour from Cleveland and 1 hour from Pittsburgh. Lake Milton is part of the Ohio State Park system and is one of the highest rated State Parks in Ohio. Locally there are 5 Wineries, 3of which can be gotten to by boat.

This was our 3rd time staying here and as always it did not disappoint! Wonderful location, clean, and spacious. John, the owner, is available to contact if needed. He is extremely friendly and easier to work with. We love it here and would definitely recommend booking.

Enjoyed our stay, plenty of space for everyone, our granddaughter loved be able to access the lake from the property, dock worked great for the boat we rented but no luck catching any fish - we will be back again! Sparkle Grocery store was convenient and had a good selection, we enjoyed one dinner out at the Prop House.

This place is perfect for a large family. More room than you could imagine. Accessibility to the lake is great! John is an amazing host and very prompt with answers to your questions. We will continue to return to this property when we are in the area. This was our second stay.

The house and property were very nice. We did not have luck finishing but the two golf courses around the lake provided nice views and a fun time. Would definitely stay again.

Property was very clean and as represented. Owner very responsive. Only negative was the unexpected shallowness of the lake, often not deeper than 5 feet even hundreds of yards from shore, and as little as 1 foot in spots. Any powerboaters should be aware of this.

This home was beautifully furnished. Comfy beds. Very clean and kitchen well stocked with silverware and dishes. Even paper plates and plastic utensils We loved being able to dock our boat a short walk through the yard. We have stayed here before and loved the updates such as wider driveway and new deck furniture. Loved the keypad entry and lock. We refilled the propane as it was almost empty. So don’t forget to check before you start cooking. Sparkle grocery store 2 mi or so away has propane and any forgotten groceries. There was plenty of room for my kids and grandkids and love that it has 3 full bathrooms with plenty of towels. Bring your own bath soap but plenty of hand soap and dish detergent was already there. Grandkids loved playing by the dock but make sure they wear water shoes as there are sone sharp rocks and items in the water. Very convenient location especially if you have a boat. Two fireplace areas and lots of chairs for fire

Thge lake house was very clean and the sleeping accomodations worked very well for our large family (7 adults, 2 teens and a 3 yr old). We enjoyed the dock for fishing. The large dining room table was perfect for dining and playing games. We had a great week.

Went to John's Lake Milton property for a church retreat and was instantly blown away by how amazing it was. Every couch and bed were comfortable and you never wanted to move. Plenty of outdoor seating for outside hangouts. Bedrooms were huge and so were the bathrooms...and John was so quick at responding to all our requests. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come again

We brought our State wrestling qualifiers to compete in Youngstown and thought we would all enjoy relaxing in this lake house rental after long days. We were right! This was a great place to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends.

We had a lovely girls weekend relaxing while visiting Ohio for a baby shower. Although some of our guest backed out, we had a wonderful relaxing weekend. It was like a home away from home with a beautiful view of the lake off the back porch. Clean and cozy for all ages.

This large, well furnished and very comfortable home was perfect for a family weekend getaway. The outdoor fire pit and lake access provided outdoor activity space for everyone. The additional parking area was very much appreciated. We've been here 3 times and will no doubt return again!

Nice place, some accessories are dated but no problem, they work and we had tons of space. Out of the owners control we had some bees in November that hung out with us outside. With-in the owners control the thermostat was locked. Over 6 yrs of VRBO'ing that was a first.

My wife and I rendezvoused with her sister and husband and had a fabulous 4 day vacation together. The owner was great at answering our questions in a prompt manner. Cottage was spotless and appliances, etc. all worked well. Beautiful setting - 3 nice porches to get away for some quite time. Price was competitive and we felt we got good value for the money. Beds were comfortable. The leaves were turning during our stay and they were beautiful. Well stocked with the things needed for cooking and bathing. Overall - we are a very satisified customer

We had a great week at the lake, plenty of space for us all (10 total) grandkids especially loved the video games. We spent a lot of time on the large covered porch looking at the lake. We also had access to a dock so we had to rent a pontoon boat! So much fun on the sun. This was our second visit to this home and I’m seeing another in the future 😎

The house was just liked it was described. The only problem was bring your own charcoal and gas for the grill. I have stayed at quite a few places over the last 20 years and have never had to bring our own gas . The grandkids loved the game room. Not far from Boardman Ohio so good restaurants there.

My brothers and I drove from the west coast to see our mom after three years (thanks, covid). She is ninety. Our large family spent Saturday afternoon sitting on the deck and catching up. Everyone was impressed with the house and the view. Excellent host. Thanks again, John!
