FALL FOLIAGE SPECIAL! Enjoy the beautiful colors of fall in vermont! One week for $1000 and one month for $3000. All utilities included. Discount will be applied to booking.
PLEASE READ AND CAREFULLY REVIEW LISTING BEFORE BOOKING. This is a small rustic cabin built in the 60s and renovated and updated since. There is a local caretaker who will take care of any problems or issues you may have during your stay upon request. However there is no butler or maid service. The cabin offers comfort, privacy and tranquility while being in close proximity to stratton village bars, restaurants and shops. Due to the wear and tear on my house, I will only allow dogs on an individual basis. Only dogs under 20 pounds will be allowed and are not allowed on the furniture, which has all been recently replaced. New couch includes center entertainment console. You will be held responsible for any and all damage to the house, furnishings and linens. A refundable $500 deposit will be added and an non-refundable cleaning fee of an extra $50 will be added (in addition to the regular fees) if you should bring a pet. If you do without discussing it, an automatic fee of $200 will be added for the additional cleaning. NOTE: VRBO counts anything less than five stars as a negative review. If you have a history of bad reviews I will not accept your reservation. If there are any problems upon your arrival please contact me and I will do my best to have all issues timely resolved.

Stay in your own cottage away from the crowds. House is located in a private wooded area with ponds and streams. Short walk to Pike Falls, a natural swimming pool perfect for hot summer days.
House has one large bedroom with a twin and full bed. Second room has a king sized bed with flat screen TV, washer and dryer and a Mac computer with printer.
Cozy living room provides a great place to relax and watch movies or cable on large flat screen TV hooked up to roku of streaming including Sling, Netflix, Amazon prime and hbo. Please realize that this is rural vermont and WiFi is through DHL and can be spotty. I make no guarantees as to the speed and use ability of the internet or cell service; however internet has recently been upgraded so hopefully Wi-Fi will be more consistent
Small kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher, full refrigerator, stove and wine cooler.
Outside relax in your own private Jacuzzi and enjoy the quiet scenic mountain views. With a running stream across the street.
There is a motion sensor with a camera outside the house. It just shows the driveway and not the porch or hot tub. It is for when the house is empty, and I like it when I’m there alone. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary weekend away. Erica’s place was perfect. Her home was as described. The location was perfect. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub. All the dishes we needed were available. The bed was comfortable and layout was perfect. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away it is perfect.

Wonderful stay
My husband rented this cabin for us as a surprise for my birthday and a late honeymoon! When we arrived I was elated to see this cute little cabin and a hot tub to boot! We got inside and it was behind adorable by comparison! The floors, fireplace, kitchen area and bedrooms were absolutely adorable! Rustic feeling and just felt like home! The best part was the hottub out front!! Coming from us, parents of FIVE, this was the perfect quiet escape we needed and immediately felt at peace and home! We enjoyed our stay so much and used the hottub more times than not that we are hopefully planning to rent again this fall! Erica was a fantastic host and it had all the amenities one would need for a few days of peace and quiet away from anyone's busy work and home life! We cannot say enough great things about this cabin. This trip and our few days here will always hold a special place in our memories and hearts! Thank you again for allowing us into your home!

Our second stay of many to come!
This was our second time staying in the cabin, and we plan to make it an annual tradition. Minutes to Stratton, but completely tucked away and private. Hot tub is amazing, secluded next to a babbling brook. Fireplace inside is super cozy. Erica is an amazing host, and we can't wait to come back next year!

This house was the perfect place for me and some friends to stay for our ski weekend, it had everything we could need with the added bonus of a hot tub, washer/dryer, and a gorgeous location! We had an absolutely lovely time and Erica is extremely helpful and a wonderful host. I highly recommend this property and would like to come back next year!!

The cabin was in a quiet peaceful location only 10 minutes from Stratton mountain and the village. Cozy, clean and comfortable! The hot tub as part of our après-ski was definitely the best part.

Great cozy stay
What a cozy stay we all just had for New Years. Stratton was just a few minutes away and the hot tub was such an amazing amenity!! We all were able to relax after a day of skiing. The market was right near by so we could stock up on dinner after coming home from skiing.

Good time!
The house was charming, cozy, and rustic. The fireplace warmed the whole house up. The hot tub was clean and felt private. The couch was super comfortable! The king size bed was comfortable. There was Netflix, HBO Max and Hulu available for free on the TV. It’s pretty remote with more general stores nearby than chain stores. We had a great time and would recommend it for a lovely weekend.

Erica, thank you for sharing your home with us. The location is perfect tranquil, charming and relaxing. The house was very clean! Plenty of towels, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to have a nice home cooked meal. The fireplace was great to curl up on the couch to watch a movie. The hot tub was amazing to relax in after a day in town and enjoying a beverage by the outside firepit. The sound of the river across the street was absolutely lovely to listen to with our morning coffee. We definitely would love to book again.

Fabulous place
A lovely place in the woods.. Perfect blend of off road stay yet connected to everything required.
Just a 10 min drive to Stratton Mt with lots of activities to do. Green Mountain National Forest is lovely for a random Drive with this place giving the best access to it.
I stayed there for a month and the place had everything required for my stay. Communication with host was quick, responsive and problem solving.
Jacuzzi adds even more to this serene place. I would definitely go back, and would highly recommend this place for short/long stays.

Solid spot
Great hot tub, private setting. No SNAFU's finding the place or with any of the facilities. One tip, screenshot the entry code while you still have service. With Sprint, I had full bars at the house itself, and no problems with wifi, but on the road there my signal dipped out; it worked out fine, but it's always a good idea to screenshot addresses, entry codes, contact info etc.

Lovely hot tub, comfy king bed, great couch and easy to use Netflix. The fire place worked the first night and not the rest. Lovely river sounds and very private. It’s a sweet little place. Perfect for 3 girlfriends looking to relax!

Perfect cabin getaway
My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and it was the perfect getaway! The cabin is a very cute space to relax in and get away from the chaos of the real world. The hot tub was an amazing bonus to unwind and relax in. The property was clean and had everything we needed to cook a few homemade meals. We did not have any issues during our stay, and Erica was always open to contacting her if we needed anything during our stay. I have already been telling friends and coworkers about our stay recommending it, and we will definitely be back! 10/10 would recommend!

The location was great, so beautiful while driving around. Close to stores to go shopping and restaurants! Has a very rustic feeling! Very cozy and relaxing! Fantastic hot tub! This cottage is absolutely adorable inside and out, super cozy. The hot tub is private and the property is secluded, while still being within minutes of Stratton. Erica and Nick were extremely responsive and accommodating, and we can't wait to return!

Let me preface this review by saying that i have stayed in VRBO properties for years and have NEVER left even a mediocre review. I have overlooked things and tried to be positive in my reviews. I can't do that for this property. The owner lives in California and uses someone who supposedly looks after the property. The state of disrepair was shocking. I had only 2 requirements for my getaway: a hot tub and a fireplace. When we arrived I saw that the fireplace was not working, even though I had a conversation with the owner about it's importance. After calling her, the local gas company arrived and red-tagged the fireplace. The technician told me that he has previously been to the property and told the owner the gas valve was unsafe. He also told me, and I quote, "When I walked into this place I thought, wow, what a dump." Around this time, the heat started having problems. The next 3 hours after I relayed this to the owner could only be summed up as chaos. Her arrogance and demeanor in the way that she responded to my call was so bad it ruined the trip. I became upset with the things she was saying to me (such as, "How about if I just buy you dinner?" or "I'll just refund you your money if you leave now") that it ruined the weekend. When she told me that i was complaining to much and that she was cancelling the contract and demanded that I leave things became heated. She actually called the police!!! I have never been involved in such craziness in my life. I still cannot believe the experience. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!! STAY AWAY. I really do hate to say this, because I know most of the owners who rent properties on VRBO are decent people who provide a nice, relaxing stay and count on this money to help them keep the property. Unfortunately, I have to warn others of this person(Literally, while I was doing this review I received notice of a claim that she made under the insurance policy I had to buy to stay here. Either you have to give her a very large security deposit or buy an insurance policy. Luckily, before we left, I went around and took an extended video of the cabin). UGGH - Beware folks.

Relaxing mountain cabin
We had such a great experience renting this cabin. Communication with Erica was excellent prior to arrival and she really made us feel safe renting in these crazy times. The cabin is adorable. Very well maintained. Everything was very clean and fresh. We loved using the outside fire pit and hot tub. It was exactly the relaxing get away my friend and I needed from our stressful jobs. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

A day from hell
When we arrived we found the property to be extremely unkempt. There were discarded used roofing panels leaning against the cottage on the left side, left over burned logs remaining in the fire pit with wet logs leaning against it, cobwebs on the stairs leading to the entrance and around the hottub and a cluttered mudroom (un-opened chair boxes and everything else in disarray.)
The dirtiest most unkempt place I have ever been in.

Cozy cabin in Vermont
Great location in a beautiful Jamaica VT. It’s located between Stratton Mountain and the village of Jamaica (and a it’s super easy drive to both). It’s cute inside. Erica has made some upgrades while preserving the charm of the original place. The pictures online are an accurate description of the property and both the host and property manager are very responsive to inquiries.

Great little getaway
Pictures did not do it justice. Cozy cabin and perfect for our family of 4. Had everything we needed and was close to Mt. Stratton where we spent a lot of our weekend for an obstacle racing championship. Pike Files were popular with my kids and only a 300m walk away! The hot tub was an added bonus too.
Erica was very responsive and helpful. Our only issue was the Wifi was on/off, but we are in the mountains, so likely that's why.

I came here with some girlfriends for my 26th birthday. It was an adorable cabin in the woods. It was only a short drive to the ski mountain and to restaurants/bars etc. The hot tub was incredible and the house had everything we needed. Will definitely consider renting again next year for my birthday :)

The high points to this property...the jacuzzi, location and privacy.
We enjoyed our stay...however this property could be so much better with some tender loving care. We first noticed cobwebs outide the jacuzzi canopy....in doors more cobwebs by the living room tv. We were also told after commuting to ren the property that the fire place was not working and needed a part for repair...this information would have had us seek out another location. The house had a moldy smell upon entering and although the owner knew we were arriving the shower curtain had mold as well and had not been replaced by the maintenance worker until the next morning. We ended up changing the curtain ourselves. The house has a lot of upside...just some more attention to detail. We also found some mouse droppings in one of the pots under the sink.

Lovely weekend get-away in the Mountains
We definitely enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It's a perfect mountain location, with
a ton of charm and right in the heart of nature just a few steps away from a quiet brook, and only minutes away from some amazing hikes. The hot tub was amazing and the water pristine. The cabin is close to a nearby village that had some unassuming but super charming stores and a great restaurant (The Red Fox) that had great food and a fun atmosphere. The Coffee Bar in town only minutes away was also great- the owner referred us to some gorgeous hiking spots that the locals knew about, and they had great coffee! The cabin was very clean and well kept, with amazing character- a stone fireplace,beautiful front door that was made of solid wood, and glassware from the local glass store make this cabin truly unique. This is an outstanding fall get-away and I'd encourage anyone to visit. The owners are extremely responsive and attentive; overall lovely people to deal with.

Cozy, comfortable and fantastic
Staying at Erica's cottage was fantastic. It's very cozy and comfortable and we felt like at home immediately. The place is of perfect size with all needed compliances and extra. Most importantly the jacuzzi is fantastic, outside of the cabin with a great view into the nature. The cottage is warm but cool in the hot days and very clean. The beds are comfortable and of good size. Overall we loved it and hope to come back soon.
