About this farm stay rental
Completely remodeled farmhouse on 23 private acres sets between the Cayuga and Seneca Lake Wine Trails. The house offers a huge cook's kitchen -great for cooking and gathering, a cozy living room, 2 spacious upstairs bedrooms, and a spacious bathroom with 4 foot shower. This home also features a large wrap around porch which is great for sipping coffee or a cocktail, a grill, and a fire pit. We also have the best night sky for star gazing. On 23 acres it gets really dark, and you can see so many stars- you will be amazed!

Loved the house, very clean, and is so much bigger than it looks from the outside and the pictures. The bathroom is large and a nice large shower. Our daughter and son-in-law live not too far away so we spent most of our time there, but the kitchen looked very well stocked and a lot of space to cook. Great porch area, too. Highly recommend it. I would just love to have a powder room on the main floor as the steps are steep to get upstairs and my husband does not have great balance or gait.

Gorgeous property and a lovely house

This home was our base for a long weekend visit to the Finger Lakes region. We went for eclipse viewing but also experienced some hiking and winery visits. This was a perfect home in a perfect location for those activities. Jill provided abundant recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The House was very clean, comfortable, and cozy, set on 23 acres of farmland. The weather was a bit chilly for us to enjoy the wraparound porch but I bet that it is lovely in warm weather.
I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or beautiful hiking/biking in the Finger Lakes.

The house is beautiful and well maintained farm house. We fell in love with it immediately. Jill thought of every detail and each room was well thought out and planned. The location of the property is ideally situated between the two lakes Cayuga and Senaca and only 20 minutes to Ithaca and few state parks. Great country weekend in the finger lakes.
We thoroughly enjoyed this summer weekend in the finger lakes. House is about 6 minutes to seneca lake and sits on a number of acres. Very peaceful. Owner Jill even acted as our Uber for the weekend as we were up for a wedding. looking forward to coming up again next summer.

Lovely Spot with Great Host
Jill's house was in a very peaceful location. The house was very clean and comfortable; it was clear that Jill took a lot of joy in decorating and keeping it looking nice, with fresh flowers all around the house. The wrap around porch was great for morning coffee and butterfly viewing. Some of the logistics of our stay were a little more complicated than typical, but Jill was very communicative and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend!

Great getaway
We stayed for a week and really felt at home! Great location in the finger lakes - easy access to 2 lakes, wineries, and parks. We were able to be out and about enjoying our days in the area with a quiet relaxing place to come back to in the evenings. We enjoyed camp fires stargazing, eating dinner in the porch, and watching the hummingbirds and butterflies that were attracted to the garden areas! Slept with windows open and enjoyed the cool breeze and the sound of the nearby stream!

Perfect week in the finger lakes
This beautifully decorated home is perfectly situated near Cayuga lake and in close proximity to Seneca Lake. My friend and I spent the early part of our days hiking at one of many parks in the area and our afternoons enjoying wineries. We cooked all but one dinner at home. I can't say enough great things about our stay. My plan is to come back to the finger lakes in the fall with my husband and stay in this beautiful house again.

We appreciated how well supplied the kitchen was and how the property allowed us to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Also appreciated how nice the appliances were throughout the house.

Relaxing week in the finger lakes
We enjoyed a great week relaxing in the quiet location. We were within 30 minutes of multiple state parks/waterfalls, wineries, breweries, and just a mile from lake cayuga. The house was a great place to spend our evenings with young children going to bed early. Jill was a great communicator and very accommodating to make sure we had a great stay. My family would stay here again. Thanks for gaving us!

Lovely stay.
Our stay here was lovely. The house is beautiful, well-appointed and very much in the country. Over two weeks, we took advantage of farm stands that were very close to the house, and cooked just about every night, making frequent use of the grill. The kitchen was very well set up and eating on the porch and watching the birds and chipmunks (and occasional deer) was a very relaxing experience. The bedrooms on the second floor are very nice and the bathroom is huge. We worked from “home” for part of the time and the internet connection was strong.
One magical experience was the making a fire in the firepit and watching hundreds of fireflies appear across the field and in the trees by the creek as evening descended.
Also lovely was our trip to Sheldrake Point Winery which is about 5 minutes away.
We would certainly consider staying again.

Peace in the Country
The farmhouse is extremely relaxing, comfortable and nicely decorated. We completely unwound. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds, toads, and other wildlife singing a beautiful chorus all with the gorgeous waterfall/creek in the background. Grabbing wine and cheese for our charcuterie boards before dinner with a cider house and winery less than 5 minutes from the house only added to the charm. We had trouble leaving and We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Jill's property. Everything is super clean, well-appointed, and spacious. Beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen needs a mention: never have I stayed at a rental property that had a kitchen so well-equipped. High-quality pans and an excellent stove made all the cooking we did a pleasure. The grounds around the house are well-maintained with vistas of fields and trees. Just at the edge of the property is a mini-gorge and waterfall. Very Finger Lakes! We had a relaxing and super time. You will too.

Wonderful setting just off the lake! Beautifully appointed with many extras for comfort and ease.
We enjoyed the setting as it was so close to the lake, wineries, and trails. Cornell and Ithaca were 22 miles and a nice drive through the rural setting to town. We especially enjoyed all of the flora and fauna around he property: flowering shrubs, birds galore, rabbits, a woodchuck, deer, etc.

The property was incredibly well maintained and the landscaping was picturesque.
I cannot say enough positive things about this location and house as a whole. From watching the sunrise on the porch to cooking dinners in the chefs kitchen, our stay was ideal. The character of the home is not lost in the modern updates and it is only a short drive to wineries and restaurants on both Cayuga and Seneca Lake. My wife and I, along with the other couple who joined us, are already planning a return trip for next year. Beyond the property, the house, and its location, the owner is wonderful and very accommodating. We have been visiting the finger lakes for several years and this was our best experience to date.

Perfect Place for our Finger Lakes Adventure
Three of us had the pleasure of staying in Jill's farmhouse for four days. I chose her place based on the good past review history and its central location. It was our base for several bike rides and sightseeing trips in the region. The house is immaculate and it is nicely decorated by Jill. Sitting on the huge wrap-around porch we enjoyed relaxing and viewing the beautiful, spacious property. Jill is a very hospitable hostess who met us promptly upon our arrival. (She also had a plan for us to get in if the meet-up timing had been a problem...)
Much of the house is newly remodeled. In particular, the new porch was a highlight for us. There was a place to sit on the porch and just chill, and there's a nice table on the porch where you can eat.
With our cycling, we used the washer/dryer often and they worked perfectly, as did all of the other applicances.
We are glad we chose Jill's property for our trip.

Clean house, comfortable beds, nice setting in quiet location, lots of trees in front of the house, birds singing ( there was a bird nest and a mom bird was busy to take care of little ones). The owner of house provided with some fresh farm eggs for us and we enjoyed them very much.

Beautiful house in a beautiful region
We are a family with 2 kids and we vacations at Jill's house in August 2017. The property is conveniently located within short drives of wineries, hiking trails, kayaking, horseback riding, and many other activities. The house is spacious and comfortable, but best of all, Jill was a wonderful host. Her recommendations were great and she was easily reachable if we needed her. The stay far exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

Simply perfect
We loved everything about our stay at Jill's remodeled farmhouse. The house has been beautifully updated and decorated, making you want to stay for as long as possible. Jill was an amazing host and welcomed us on our first day, showed us around and had everything set up for us. As a group of 4, we had plenty of space and tried to take advantage of all the amenities of the house and property has to offer: from the beautiful porch over the remodeled kitchen and living room to the fireplace which is located just outside by the barn. And to top it all off, everything was perfectly clean. We are definitely planning on coming back.

Jill was a fantastic host with a perfect farmhouse getaway. The house is beautiful, cozy, and in a perfect location. Located within 15 mins of the Cayuga's wineries, distilleries, and Taughannok Falls state park. The Seneca Lake wineries and restaurants are only a 30 min drive.
