About this house rental
The season of splendor is fast approaching, so why not indulge in your daydream of having a truly authentic Colorado experience by staying riverside, in a lovely logged cabin in the woods. But don’t worry, there’s nothing ‘rough’ about forested creekside living in the community of Timber Creek. Even the firewood has been chopped and stacked for your convenience. Yes, there’s a wood burning fireplace that offers a warm and welcoming coziness to the hearth and home. Oh, and a river runs through it, almost literally. Eagle River couldn’t be more accessible, it’s right in your backyard. It provides high ceilings and the lighting of this lovely lodge harkens to the olden days of gas-lit romance and rustic resplendence. It’s old country charm meets new world convenience.
Sleep everyone comfortably in this splendid log cabin with three bedrooms, and a loft, right on Gore Creek! This recently remodeled home in West Vail is right by a Vail Town shuttle stop, shops, and restaurants. Indeed, Timber Creek 10B is an ideal combination of size, comfort, and location! It’s got its own ski locker and a grill on the back deck.
From the moment you park and walk to the door you will feel right at home. It’s warm and welcoming. With airy rooms, authentic decor and all the creature comforts you could ask for, it will make your winter or summer vacation most memorable. Prepare delicious meals for your friends and family to eat at the dining room table, or unwind while watching the game in front of crystal clear HD TVs. The only problem is, you might get so comfortable here you’ll want to stay longer. So then why don’t you?
(One dog is allowed upon request for $40 per day.)
*Summer reservations may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival.*

My husband and I along with his two brothers stayed at this home over labor day weekend. The home is Beautiful, had everything we needed and is in the perfect location. A river to relax by out the front door, great places to take long walks/hikes and lots of places for cycling.
We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful log cabin condo on Gore Creek.

Beautiful setting. Location is perfect. Kitchen had all the basics. Two minor quirks with property - and one is easily fixed. One - it was a bit strange that you need to move furniture to access fans. I don’t think there is anything you can do to remedy this. Second - there is just not good lighting. If you want to read in the primary room - the lack of light makes it challenging. There is a desperate need for additional lighting in the main room. Other than that - the property was outstanding.

Located near Intermountain bus stop. Very convenient. Quiet and cozy. Plenty of room with a great kitchen.

Nice (but small cabin), very old ,worn down furniture, with some pieces falling apart. New fridge, microwave and good stove. Nice fireplace (old but functional) with enough firewood. Very small cabin, advertised for 8 people, but comfortable is for 5. Weird back entry to the cabin (initially hard to find) with misaligned door. No place to put wet boots... Especially if there is 8 people.
Paid almost 10K for 7 nights (over 2022 New Year week), but fees, commissions, taxes and insurances are about 50% of that amount. I would not go there again.

Good:Comfy beds, charming, well appointed kitchen. Bad: Needs to be cleaned of cobwebs. cobwebs are especially bad above front door entrance, inside windows and upper log ceiling. Made it slightly uncomfortable for me having been bitten by a poisonous spider a few ago that left me with a terrible scar. Living room would feel tight with more than 3 adults. Over all it worked well for us, 3 adults. Housekeeping just needs to look up.

The place is wonderful. A very cozy feel and having the creek outside your door was even better and beautiful. Check in and out was extremely easy and well communicated.
The BIG dissatisfaction about the place was the grill. We put dinner on the grill for 7 of us and after 5 min the propane ran out. We communicated this with the property management company and they told us to go and buy more propane at Conoco. Are you serious?!
They should have gone and done this for us. They missed the ✅ propane on their list. We rented this home and expected enough propane for two nights. If I was the owner of this lovely home who pays the management company to ensure guests are taken care of, I would be furious. Where was the commitment, to service your guests to the fullest. Here it was the 4th of July, not quite as easy as one would think.

Cozy Cabin Find
This was a great spot for our family, the kids enjoyed their rooms downstairs and my wife and I were very comfortable upstairs. We took full advantage of being by the creek. This was also a great place to cook, best grill we’ve seen, and the kitchen was well appointed. It was quiet when we stayed and parking was good

I was very impressed with this property and we had an amazing time! The property was very well taken care of and I appreciated little details like the manager stocking more firewood while we were there. Appreciated the overall professionalism of the management of the property and really enjoyed the property itself as it is in a great location and in great condition. Will definitely stay here again!

Great spot to explore the Vail Valley
We loved the location and the property. Perfect for our family. The only drawback was that there wasn’t a coffee pot for the first 24 hours, and it was slightly difficult to get one from the property manager. However, they did replace it once we got a hold of them.

This is a professional operation, all the basics needed for a good rental are covered plus several thoughtful amenities are included. It is clean, truly - one of the nicest rental homes we have ever stayed at. Charming and well decorated, with good accent lighting throughout. Incredible kitchen and bathrooms. Very comfortable and versatile, with a good floor plan and extremely comfortable beds. Clean, crisp sheets. As a microcosm of their thoughtfulness, they had a new plastic-wrapped dish sponge along with a mini dish detergent - nice touch - as well as a sweet housewarming welcome package with goodies and snacks. The unit is well maintained - I was not afraid of bed bugs or mice or other pests here. Good smelling - no unpleasant odors. Nice neighborhood, pretty view. Lovely nature walks steps away, and close drive to town centers. The road beyond the trees outside the front door porch was not a big deal - view was good, and the minimal traffic noise was masked by the river. If you press me for a critique then my biggest complaint is that one extra accent lamp wasn't working bc the pull chain was missing - it did not impact our stay. Also, it would be a nice extra to have them call the window cleaners in to get that sparkle on the windows and chandelier - it's getting a little dusty in places, but again, a minor comment. Bring matches for the fireplace and candles just in case they are running low, but this home is well stocked in general (such as extra laundry detergent), so it likely won't be an issue. Ample firewood is stacked outside the door. The home is tasteful, comfortable, and convenient. We loved it, you'll love it too.

Amazing clean log cabin feel!
We absolutely loved this VRBO location. It was a corner townhome with enough space for a full family or a bunch of friends. There were 2 queen sized beds, a twin, and a king sized bed. There was even a sleeper bed in the couch. There were TVs in every room (even if we didn’t use them). The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils. All the basics you would need to cook a meal and eat it. The fridge was empty with lots of space to put our groceries in. I loved that there was a washer dryer in the unit so we went home with all clean clothes which was a nice bonus. There are two very nice, updated bathrooms (one upstairs with the master and one queen bed, one downstairs for the single room, queen bedroom, and sleeper sofa)
I especially loved the care this property took to make sure we felt safe during this time. They left a note explaining that the place was cleaned before our arrival. They also left a spray and some paper towels for us to use should we feel more comfortable cleaning things our way. They also provided us a small personal bottle of hand sanitizer which was much appreciated.
The staff was very responsive if we had questions during business hours. You could even text them a question if needed.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again!

Nice condo
We stayed at this condo at the end of February. It was described accurately and it is overall nice. We were not impressed with the cleanliness of the dishes and ended up having to wash the plates and silverware we were planning on using. Additionally, the towel rack was down and the handle of one of the drawers in the bathroom was off the drawer which is not a big deal but a detail that shouldn’t have been overlooked. The top rack of the dishwasher was broken and we barely used it since it was a pain to put anything in there. We didn’t cook much so it wasn’t a big problem either. I couldn’t find a hairdryer and texted the management company and they never got back to me. I should have kept texting or called but we were busy skiing. Overall decent and we enjoyed our stay.

Loved Timbercreek 10B
We had a wonderful stay in West Vail. If you want a cabin feel with modern conveniences in the bathrooms and kitchen (the best of both worlds) stay here. We drove to Cooper Mountain for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The only issue was communication. A towel bar on the bathroom was broken and top rack of dishwasher was broken. Tried to report but couldn’t get through. Not a big issue. Loved the cabin. Would definitely stay again.

Great experience!
Perhaps the nicest and cleanest rental my family has found on VRBO. As advertised. Quiet. Short drive or nearby bus to Lionshead. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

The perfect mountain home
We were a family of 7 and this property was our home away from home for the Christmas holiday. It was perfect in every way. Very well equipped kitchen, beautiful log burning fireplace that was put to good use, lovely view of Gore Creek, easy 2 minute walk to the bus stop required us to never get in the car. We look forward to returning !

Fantastic find..
This place was the absolute best! We loved the location, size and amenities. We are a family of 6 and we had more than enough room. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location. Cozy, comfortable cabin!
The cabin had everything we needed. The beautiful Gorge River is in your backyard! A short walk to the shuttle bus or a 5 min drive to the Structure (close parking to the slopes). We had an amazing trip!

It was a great cabin hidden in the woods. I felt like we were the only ones around!
We really enjoyed our stay! It was super close to a bus stop and made traveling to the slopes very easy and convenient.

Great place to stay with the family
This was the perfect, cozy place to stay with my family during a wedding weekend. We loved the big common room area, the large update kitchen, and the fireplace. We didn't utilize the bus line, but it was very close had we chosen to use it. We would definitely stay again!

We loved the cabin and the location...
Pros: Beautiful location right on Gore Creek; Very nicely appointed kitchen with beautiful counter tops, nice cabinets, SS appliances and a good assortment of kitchen devices; Very comfortable bed in the master; Nice, big table in the dining room, good furniture in living room, wonderful, eclectic furnishings throughout. we liked the rustic feel of all the exposed logs in this well laid out cabin with no hint of noise through the walls even though it's attached to another unit.
Cons: Lighting was problematic - most rooms don't have enough, including the master bath which was too dark, while at the same time the dining room chandelier, which is a fantastic, real antler fixture, was too bright and should be on a dimmer; the loft bed should be turned sideways since it's tucked into the decreasing head space of the steep pitched ceiling and was disconcerting to our nephew who couldn't sleep there after trying it one night; the balcony off the master bedroom is just gone - ripped out and left as a gaping hole outside the double door. It wasn't a show stopper, but it was disappointing that it wasn't repaired before we rented the place. Last, what's up with all the crappy outdoor furniture on the porches? Lots of torn and soiled or broken chairs - none matching and all out of place for an upscale rental. My daughter quipped "it looks like they're broken patio furniture hoarders!", and it does!
Despite the cons listed, we loved the place and loved the surroundings and location and we'd stay here again. Just watch your head in the master bedroom - those logs are hard!

What a beautiful, cozy log cabin !!!!
My husband, 2 children and mother visited Vail the first week of 2018. We have stayed at different properties in the past, but I can honestly say we all enjoyed this one the most. The log cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy and very well equipped. We cooked most of our meals in the modern kitchen which had every utensil needed. Every night we found ourselves next to the fireplace, playing board games we found in the living room. Overall a great skiing family vacation, in the perfect log cabin. Added bonus is how close it is to Lionshead village .... Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.
