We were here for our daughter's wedding. The house was beautiful and a perfect set up for what we needed. The owner was very accommodating.

This property has a great view but needs some work on the rusty looking bathrooms and pealing paint. I enjoyed the space but I didn’t like the feeling of not being completely clean.

There really is no view and parking is terrible but it’s the mountains. It’s a short drive from Tallulah. Very old and musty inside. For the price I’m not sure it’s worth it. You can’t walk around on the property at all. Hearing the water off of the balcony was nice.

Family and I had a lovely stay at the lake house. Has a nice view of the lake, very welcoming and cozy living room area, fully equipped kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet. Would visit again. Pete was very responsive and assisted us immediately.

I loved this property! Beautiful home with a view! Everything we needed for a week stay was there. Centrally located for our family gathering, plus close to waterfalls, Helen, Dillard, Atlanta, and nearby essential shopping in Clayton.

The property and living spaces were great. The interior is in need of repairs and updating. One of the beds was broken, the garbage disposal inconsistently worked, the ac was inconsistent across the house and bbque grilling rack needs to be replaced and some of the dishes and cooking utensils were broken or need to replaced. Loved having the indoor games and ping pong table upstairs. It would have helped to have a laundry facility on site (we had an infant with us).Honestly if some attention was paid to the interior, it would be perfect. We all had a great time tho!

We had a fantastic stay. We thoroughly loved the back porch! We would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at the lake house. The big space was perfect for our family (parents, 2 adult children and their significant others). It was a great base for family time, for meals (all at home because of COVID risks), and as a base for trips to nearby hiking trails and waterfalls. The owners were exceptionally friendly and eager to share tips about the area. Great stay.

Beautiful deck with waterfall sound partial lake view. Large living area. Very comfy. Nice kitchen, dated, but with everything you need. Close to many waterfalls and hiking and great restaurants. Owners were very responsive. Easy check in. Pet friendly even though we didn’t bring our babies highly recommend!

The house is older but had plenty of room. Great view and loved listening to the waterfall that was close by.

We had a wonderful time here with our family group of 10. The house was perfect for our group . The 3 college granddaughters enjoyed the large upstairs room. The teenage boys shared a room with twin beds downstairs. My son and daughter-in-law had a nice master bedroom. My daughter and son- in-law had a master bedroom, too. I had a room with twin beds. The layout of the rooms was great, and the large porch area was so nice. We enjoyed Lake Rabun with a pontoon boat which we rented at the marina. We went whitewater rafting near by and also visited Tallulah Gorge State Park.

My family and I stayed here to celebrate my birthday by getting away from the hustle and bustle. The wrap around porch was the perfect escape! We sat outside and enjoyed listening to the water streams and waterfalls. The large table inside was great for our family game nights! This home was close to great hiking trails and only a 45 minute drive from the wonderful city of Helen.
We did have some concerns about the house considering how much we paid to stay. Obviously these mountain homes are older and could stand to be updated, but our biggest complaints were that we couldn't wash our clothes and shower at the same time, the amount of bugs we had to kill inside the home and concerns of the cleanliness of the air vents and if we should turn on the air. Also, when we arrived a lot of the bedding didn't seem to be very clean. However I try to make the best of every situation and not let things bother me and understand that these homes may not be visited on a daily basis. I do feel the price to stay in this home was on the high side considering the concerns and issues with the home, but if those things were addressed I would most definitely stay here again.

My friends and I had a wonderful week here. The house is as pictured, and met all our needs for a quiet week away. The spacious deck is the place to hang out, especially for morning coffee and evening wine. The Lake Rabun area is beautiful, with wonderful restaurants and shopping nearby. Pete and Patton are perfect hosts. Highly recommended and we hope to return!

We had a wonderful time at Lake Rabun. The house was beautiful and accommodated everyone we had included in our plans. We went to Lake Rabun for a family reunion and had a dinner for all family members one evening and everyone enjoyed sitting on the porch with the cool weather and hearing the waterfall in the background. It was so relaxing everyone hated going back to the everyday grind. Thanks Pete for such a great experience.
