Check in with no staff is super easy! We even had an issue with getting our key (we didn’t get the passcode for the lockbox right away). Sent a text to the staff and within minutes everything was taken care of!
View is great right on the water!
Tried to get some ice for water cups right before checking out and the lobby was locked until check in - really no big deal though!

Very clean, has what it take to be satisfied from a motel room. Cute area.
Didn't see staff.

Beautiful view from the huge window in our room, parking right in front of our door, property very well kept.

Everything automated including the check-in. There is no human to help you except to call a number.

Location is great for dipping through NW Ontario. Clean, easily accessible rooms. Friendly staff, lots of small amenities for road travellers. Great place to get a good nights sleep or two.
The single set of curtains. Add a light filtering curtain to the room windows and it would instantly improve the privacy and make the rooms more enjoyable while getting ready in the morning. Cheap but impactful change.

Location and facilities were great.
Hot water dangerously, scalding hot.
Impersonal no-person check-in procedure was weird.

The location along the river with easy access to walking path.
I found everything to be satisfactory. A slight problem checking in using the key velet. A simple phone call to owners had solved the problem.

Very comfy beds! Clean. Spacious feel.
View of water.
Didn't get email for check-in. Once straightened the auto key was slick.

We have stayed here before so I can say this property is consistently EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN and well maintained!
It’s an older building so it is a bit shy on the sound proofing. I have hearing loss and wear hearing aids during the day. However at 1:30 am I could hear someone snoring in the room next to us.

Was an alright motel, comfortable bed nice shower
I didn't like the threat of giving up my rooms the day of traveling half way there. The rooms were books/reserved on my debit Visa, with the payment to be settled upon arrival by each individual bookee. They told me while we were 300kms in that mybcard was insufficient, while we were were to pay cash when arrived as I booked in December. When we got there there was no front desk to assist the problem and could not square up until I found one of our crew to pay for all 5 rooms on his credit card. Very inconvenient. Then the owner turns around to point this inconvenient occurrence back at me. Unbelievable!!!
