Hotel and staff were great! The staff was very helpful despite my limited Spanish and gave great advice on where to go and what to do. Our room was super comfortable and I loved how it was decorated. Breakfast was left in our room when they would come to do cleaning, which we absolutely loved. It was nice to be able to eat as early or late as we want, especially when you have an early plane to catch or just want to sleep in! Finally, the view from the pool area was breath taking! Do not miss it! It shows you an amazing view of the city. The area was absolutely gorgeous, especially the architecture. I also really enjoyed the street art throughout the neighborhood.
Air conditioner was very loud, and turned off in the middle of the night (it worked pretty well though!) I also would have liked more towels for the pool. I thought there would be some up there, but there weren't.
The other main draw back was the vibe of the neighborhood. The immediate neighborhood is very nice, but if you go a few blocks away, especially at night it is a different story. We were very clearly tourists and we felt very targeted by people asking for money on the street. Our tour guide insisted on walking us back to our hotel after seeing other tourists getting mugged on a nearby street. Finally, when we went to dinner, our waiter very politely told us that it we needed to leave, as it was getting late and it would dangerous for us to walk home soon. It seems well known that tourists are commonly targeted for petty theft/panhandling and it was very disappointing to not be able to feel safe walking around the area. The hotel itself felt very safe with lots of families hanging out, but we were definitely on edge walking around certain areas nearby.

Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was within walking distance to the central market, Plaza de Armas, the Larrastaria neighborhood and half a block away from the metro.
We got a breakfast basket every morning. We could have used more fruit!

Breakfast was delivered to the room the afternoon before! Very basic but nice to have. The location was excellent.
Air conditioning was AWFUL. I asked them to fix it 3 times but they never could. Way too hot.
