About this apartment rental
This condo is in the Hibiscus Resort community. It is on the 3rd floor which provides lovely views looking down on the palm trees and the manicured grounds. The condo is a 5 minute (or less) walk to the beach, along a well kept and private board walk.
The condo has a front and back deck. At sunrise, if it is a clear day, from the front deck, you can look to the south east, you may be able to see the sun sparkling off of the ocean from between the palm trees.
The rear deck overlooks the neighboring pool and a partial view of one of the 3 Hibiscus pools. One pool is heated in the winter. The resort also has 2 hot tubs. There is a simple gym with a treadmill, exercise bike, and some weights. The resort has a tennis court that is dated, this is more due to the salt air and the sand that often blows into the court, despite this, many people have enjoyed playing tennis.
Condo description:
The first bedroom has a king size bed with a brand new mattress.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed, a twin daybed, and 2 twin mattresses tucked away.
Lastly the living room couch has a sleeper sofa with a new queen mattress.
All mattresses and pillows have protective covers with moisture barriers.
There are 2 bathrooms, both with a shower and tub. Each bathroom is accessed through a bedroom. The bathrooms do not connect.
The kitchen has dishes and cookware.
Please note that this building does not have an elevator and it is about 20 stairs to get into the condo. The majority of renters do not find this to be an issue. Parking: only 2 vehicles are allowed on the property (per condo). The resort does not allow trailers & campers to be parked at the property. You may park a drivable camper van in a parking space as long as it fits comfortably in a parking spot and does not make it difficult for others to use parking spots next to your vehicle.
Lastly, this vacation rental was purchased recently and we have been in the process of fixing it up and replacing furniture. You will find new items mixed with older and the goal is to keep updating this unit. There are 4 beach chairs with back back straps for easy carry and beach canopy.
There are still things that we’d like to improve. We realize that this is a work in progress so if you choose to rent from us then I’d love constructive feedback so we can improve for the future. Our rates are set lower than our neighbors because we would like your feedback and (hopefully) positive reviews.

Been coming back to.Marlene's beautiful condo for many years now. As, usual, everything is perfect:: location easy maybe 5 minute walk from your door to the dunes. 3 clean, refreshing pools down your stairs, easy 5 minute drive to grocery stores and many restaurants.. and lovely st. Augustine is closeby for fun souvenir shopping. And the condo itself is so pretty with great decor and equipped with all you need just like you have at home. WIth a fully stocked kitchen, modern appiances washer and dryer. And it is so clean. We.love it, and know you wil too!

Marlene was such a great host! Everything was just like she said and very informative. Location is good and a small walk the beach. This 3rd floor condo had all our family needed! The ac was great with ceiling fans as well. Great restaurants in the area! Definitely go to Parlor Donuts while you’re there!

Despite the weather being a little rainy we had a great time. Everything was as pictured. Quick walk to the beach and a few steps from the pool! Marlene was very thorough giving up all the necessary info and codes. Teenage girls had no complaints they had their own space and bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay here at the condo. The location to the pool is soooo great! Extremely close, the beach isn’t too far. The condo had everything that we needed. Location was great, only thing I feel I should mention for reviews is that the parking lot can not accommodate trailers. Not even a small cute 5’x8’ box trailer is allowed to be dropped on the property. We had to find a storage space near by to leave it which was a bit of an inconvenience. But this is not a reflection of the property owner and she was very good at making sure we knew the rules and suggestions for how we could work around it all. Overall our stay was great & we got some much needed R&R. Also I’ll mention that all of the residents that we met on the property were Soooo friendly! People were very helpful and all really nice. Says a lot for the overall quality of the place. We would absolutely visit again cause we really enjoyed ourselves. The stairs are definitely a thing lol This is a 3rd floor unit. The fewer trips up and down, the better: ) Thanks for the beautiful stay!

Overall clean place. The heated pool across the parking lot from the condo was our go to. Walk to the beach was nice. I would recommend bringing your own trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Not enough provided for our 5 night stay but there is a couple of grocery stores within driving distance. Very nice TV in the living room area and the furniture is pretty comfortable. Great table for meals and playing games with a good selection of games. Overall good place to stay.

Marlene made this stay as easy and seamless as possible! She was so accommodating in her instructions as she has answered every question we had.
We had an issue with a light that was flashing outside of the condo at night and as soon as I messaged her about it she was ON IT. She responded immediately and her team came out and fixed the flashing bulb outside the window immediately!

Unit was clean and well maintained with everything you need to enjoy a stress-free stay. Appliances in excellent condition including the much needed air conditioning. Pool very close and the beach in easy access. Don't expect to use the outside grills as only one in working condition. Parking for the unit nice and close. Beds were extremely comfortable. Balconies were a great addition. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Beautifully decorated condo has everything you need for the perfect beach vacation. Easy walk to the beach, 3 pools which were never very crowded, sometimes our family were the only ones in the pool. So many good restaurants and ice cream shops nearby. And a big, nice publix grocery very close. And the, owner, marlene. Is so nice and very quick to respond to all questions. We have stayed here for the last few years and plan on returnig next year already!

My family of four had a great stay at this property. Everything was as described and the check-in process was seamless. The kitchen was adequately equipped and had everything that we needed. Having large smart TVs in each room was a big plus when it was time to relax and the kids wanted to watch their own programs. The pools were great and beach was beautiful. We would love to return to this property in the future!

Everything was fine and went smoothly. No issues. There are only 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. You're probably not going to get a 3 bedroom + and this price. This was fine for the 5 of us. A short walk to the beach and nice white sand. There's a pool and hot tub too, which also was nice. This was my first time to the St Augustine area. We enjoyed the tours of the historical places. We had a busy 3 nights here. You'll need to stay about 5 days to truly see all the sites. It can get pricey with so many attraction tickets around $20 / person.

The check in process was fairly simple. I forgot to print my parking pass before traveling and had to run down to Staples to print one. Thank you to the property manager for recommending that.
The property is quiet, parking is directly in front of the unit. The resort is well maintained including the boardwalk and pools. The unit was spacious enough for myself, my spouse, and my parents. Lots of restaurants within a close drive and fairly close to a lot of attractions and landmarks. Very close to A1A.

Everything was as described. Marlene was excellent and had great communication and instructions. Property is so cute and spacious. Kitchen has everything you would need for making meals and space to store snacks. Nice big refrigerator. Washer and dryer in the kitchen is convenient for doing laundry.
Beds were comfy and plenty of closet space. There were even a few hangers. There are games in the living room for rainy days/nights. This little condo village is quiet and relaxing. There are 2 decks to enjoy and store your beach item on. The beach is just a short walk away. About a 5 min walk along a path. There are beach chairs and an umbrella to use at the beach. The pools are nice and refreshing. St. Augustine is just a quick 15 min drive away, and there are tons of family friendly activities to do. They are all fairly cheap. We will definitely stay here again!

perfect home away from home
this condo is the perfect family beach haven. And pets are allowed too. The living and sleeping areas are spotless, large and pretty, with a beautiful beach decor. And all you could need is provided, even good beach chairs. There is a huge TV, and modern, stainless steel appliances, and a big washer and dryer. A deck in the front and back provide outdoor living areas.also. And this is the best resort, with the beach an easy boardwalk away and three large pools, always clean and refreshing.. And everything that St. Augustine offers is very accessible. We've been here three times and plan on returning next year. Marlene is so friendly, easy to deal with and helpful and very responsive to e-mails. I highly recommend her condo.

This is our 2nd visit to this location and we’ll be back. It’s perfectly located near St Augustine but far enough away to be quiet. We love the pool-always the perfect temperature and the private access to the beach is awesome. Owner Marlene is never more than a text away and is genuine and helpful. Great place to make great memories.

A very relaxing week!
Marlene was an excellent host, prompt with answering and so helpful with anything we needed. We had such a wonderful week staying in her home- perfect location to the beach and pools (which were well kept up!)- a pretty, very easy couple minute walk to the beach. The condo had very soothing,updated, and modern beach decor; and anything (and more!) that we possibly could have needed during our week was provided at the condo from kitchen supplies to games to beach accessories. We left feeling so refreshed( and not wanting to leave)! Thank you again, Marlene!

Great condo for family vacation
The condo is as described, we had a great time overall.
The only thing that I didn’t like was the fact that , previous guests had a dog and I can’t stand to dog/ cat hair. There was dog hair on the couches, ottoman and on the floor, I could notice that because it got stocked on our slippers and on my blanket.
I recommend extra attention to cleaning.

Fantastic Condo
The unit is a great value and very comfortable. Incredibly short distance to the pool and hot tub, and while parking was a bit tight, it's great to have a spot right in front of your unit. The rooms were clean, comfy and nicely decorated, and we found it well stocked for our family of four.
The location is also a great spot for the beach. It's not directly on it, but the walk was short, and you aren't ducking and weaving through parking lots. The private access was nice too, and you are farther down from town, so the beach itself wasn't crazy crowded.
A few things to be mindful of, and the owner refreshingly details it all honestly, were the stairs. Good news is they were wide and easy, but with no elevator it could be an issue for those with mobility problems. Also, being further from town, you are reliant on car most of your trip.
That said, those definitely aren't complaints. Just things to keep in mind. Overall, would recommend or personally book again. Thanks!

Christmas Family Getaway
I had a good stay at this condo with my family. Everything is as described..so nothing was disappointing. Wish we had more time so we can enjoy the swimming pool and hot tubs...please note that the swimming pool and hot tubs are only open until 8PM (per the notice on the swimming pool gate). Also, if you're planning to visit downtown St. Augustine this property is approximately 15-20 mins (depending on traffic). If you are traveling with your pets I would suggest eating at Beachcomber restaurant, its right on the beach! AND if you drive a 4x4 vehicle i would suggest driving on the beach..that was my highlight since we weren't allowed to drive on the beach in ST. Pete area.
Overall we have a good stay.
