The people staying at the hotel were nice. And it's cheap.
There is no air in the hotel, no ventilation. Most rooms don't gave a window.

Great location, amazing kitchen well equipped, comfortable big beds
The walls are thin, we could hear others playing games/ watching movies at 10pm

The ones that book under Africa house name please know the name of the place is different " Buntes Haus " I had some ridiculous moment to find the place and been ignored in check in . Otherwise , all the rest was very nice and great value .
p.s
The place has full kitchen for the use of guests .
The " garden view " room , is actually a street front room 😬

The cleaning lady was super nice
This is not a real hotel. It has no staff, nobody to let you in when you arrive. It's all operated by text message or phone. The only staff we saw the entire time was the cleaning lady. Labor is cheap in Medellín but the owner is not hiring because the time of her customers is even cheaper. Only a few minutes before we left the owner finally appeared in person to take our money (right after calling the cops on a guy who was sleeping in the driveway outside).
This is a house where they rent rooms by the night. The bathroom is shared and has no soap whatsoever (smart money saving policy during a pandemic!) and hot water that only works occasionally.
The house is poorly ventilated, hot and muggy inside, noisy all day with music and at night with drunk people. The area is nothing impressive. If you know la 70 you know it's a dirty, inexplicable tourist trap full of casinos and traffic. On top of that, the bed was pretty uncomfortable and the fan was extremely noisy.
The house is close to a big Jumbo market and a metro station. It doesn't seem like a dangerous place, but it's not exactly where you'd want to take someone to impress them.

The place was nice until a crime happened to me and Gloria didn't let me see the security cameras. She stalled and lied and then told me it was erased. Also she immediately tried to kick me out when I was drugged and robbed because I had no money, even though I was still sick from the drug effects. Another guest paid for me to stay and rest until I was able to move.

its a really nice place to stay!
Recommended!
Really nice place!
I was there 2 times.. because i loved everything there..
The only thing ..
The place as extre charge of 5 k for using public spice like toilet or kitchen after check-out time(11am).
i think the place should be more clear with the guest about it .. like put up signs.
In my case..only in my second time staying there i was asked to pay after use with knowing nothing about this extra charge.
They claim they sent a message the booking.com about it..but i never got one so i was not charge.
Thanks.

Good location
Everything was a good excuse to charge more.
We had a child with us, and during our month in Colombia it was the first time someone charge an addition fees for him (10 000 per night) please notice that we don't ask any service for him, as he is sleeping in the same bed than us. But in total we payed 30% more that we thought.
I don't even talk about the check out and a fees policy for every additional move.
And for the context we are not in a high season with a lot of people, clarely the opossite.
Next to that, no toilet paper the first day, a door that doesn't close properly and some Cockroach.
I usually don't write comment as I'm not difficult, but this time the accumulation made me unhappy enough to said something.
