It was a lovely quiet setting close to the pub. Nice country setting. Great to see the Alpacas.
Needed tea bags, that's all.
4.1
The surrounding were lovely .. but wish we were given food to feed alpacas
Slope down to doors very steep and dirty underpants found in draw need to move fridge as constantly hit head on cupboard
4.1
The WiFi was good, the shower nice and hot. Location was ok, near Gloucester and not too far from other nice places.
Small play area for kids and some alpacas to look at.
Bedroom felt cosy.
The kitchen was not really clean, sticky surfaces. Cutlery, plates and cups etc too. Had to do clean before using properly.
Living/kitchen area not really cosy. There was a couch but for 2 only, no coffee table or anything. Not really a nice place to chill.
Foldout bed not comfortable, sagging towards the middle.
Whole cottage felt small. Stayed in trailers that had similar footprints but felt more spacious.
Didn’t feel at home, tried to spend whole day away until kids had to go to bed… not our best place to stay.

Lovely play area for children, surroundings are nicely looked after.
It gets a bit too small and there's little space for storage of clothes. Window handle was broken. The fridge didn't fully close if you didn't push twice (so we woke up to a wasted grocery shopping one morning). Plus, the bathroom is inside the bedroom, it's got a little window looking into the bedroom, which means no privacy at all. Windows didn't have any shutters, so very bright from the early hours. No indoor airer, which means your clothes won't dry if it is rainy outside. They've got two separate taps, for cold and hot water, which is very old fashioned and difficult to get the right temperature.

Great location, just 5-10 mins from Gloucester city centre. Good facilities.
Nothing

Location was perfect

I like the peace, quiet and space outside! Lovely to have a bathtub too!
The cupboard that sticks out above the refrigerator.
For a family of 4 it's quite crowded if the weather is wet, and everyone sleeps in the same room, and can hear everything in the sitting-room so you need

we liked the location, the open spaces, the view of hills and fields, the alpacas, the friendliness of the host, the quietness;
The mattress could have been slightly more comfortable but we had good nights nevertheless.

nothing.

I loved it, so quiet, felt like home. I genuinely would like to live there full time if I could.
Slightly odd smell in the bathroom, unsure what it was. didn’t really bother me though.

Convenient location
Very cramped if there had been four of us. Bed very soft and on a slight downhill lie. Absolutely no phone signal and no WiFi so if you need to stay connected not the place to be.

great location for our stay, very quaint spot to stay, had everything we needed.

we loved the location, very close to Hartpury equine college where I was competing at the weekend. It also had air conditioning which was a bonus in this really hot weather. Very quiet, own garden to sit out in and enjoy the peace and quiet and watching the alpacas

Lovely cosy little cottage with comfortable bed and furniture. We really enjoyed our short break for a ‘mini-moon’ after our wedding. The location was perfect, very quiet and peaceful whilst still being close to visit Gloucester. Good facilities and amenities and well presented and decorated.
Unfortunately the only downside to our stay was the unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom which I assume was from the septic tank, it did subside slightly as the week progressed but it was constantly present despite us purchasing multiple air freshers. This wouldn’t stop us staying again but could do with being addressed to make our stay a 10/10.

We found the cottage relaxing, the setting was really peaceful. A good week away.
4.1
Quiet location with llamas in field opposite.
It was a good property but the wall cabinets and the position you are in when you open the fridge or bending down and getting up when using lower cabinets and fridge , caused us both to bang heads on the wall cabinets - & a bleeding head for one of us - so beware. Get up carefully when using lower cabinetsvto get things out !

In general the cottage was reasonably well presented, reasonably clean and a excellent location for looking around the area. Very quiet, no noise and made for a good night sleep.
In general a good stay, apart from a few little issues and would stay again.
A few things
The bathroom had no ventilation, smells and steam from bathroom into bedroom. As an enclosed bathroom it is a building regulation requirement to have a extract fan. A opening window into the bedroom does not count.
The lounge sette was had a bend in it and not comfortable to sit in.
Toilet seat had crack in it and not hygienic
Not sure how well cleaned the property was with respect to covid.
No bottle opener. Had to buy one and give our tin opener to the other cottage.
No pillow protecters, would expect as a covid preventer
