Worth it the price. Convenient.

For what we paid it was worth it. The location was perfect and close to everything. The room was comfortable and clean, but small. The cleaning lady was really nice.

We found that some of the staff didn’t really follow through with our requests or was present during our stay.

Super Lage zum Strand, ruhig nettes Personal Tägliche Zimmerreinigung Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön bewachsen Highlight, das Plexiglas Dach in der Dusche

Erstes Zimmer war etwas muffig, da kein Fenster - nach Umzug alles super

Great stay at Frequence Hotel in Holbox!

It's a very nice hotel located outside the center of Holbox. Therefore you definitely have your rest without too much noise from the center. The bed was really comfortable with a good Wi-Fi signal. Also the staff is very kind as we had all our ropes wet and the lady offered us to dry the clothes in a dryer. A lot of reviews we have seen was about the animals in the night, we didn't experience any cockroaches or scorpions. We only saw a raccoon in a tree next to our room which was actually cute. I think your mindset is important: you are in a place where there are insects and other animals so it could be you would face an insect in your room. The rooms are pretty isolated except for the ventilation hole under the door which is necessary for the ventilation in any building. Possibly a cockroach could enter, but if you don't think about it too much there is nothing wrong.

Actually nothing we could think off. The power of the shower current was not so hard and could be better, but that is all luxury details. Our mindset from me and my wife was to adapt ourselves to the circumstances of a hotel which is not like a 5 star hotel. Then you will have a great time here!

Amazing place

- le personnel (Juan Pablo) très bienveillant, présent, il nous a envoyé toutes les informations qu’il fallait (navettes, bonnes adresses, taxi, bonne localisation…) - hébergement atypique nous avons adoré la cabane et la douche dont on a l’impression d’être à l’extérieur - proche de la plage et du centre

Definitely worth the money

It’s a great location with really nice owners. Simple but fantastic breakfast.

Toilet corner strain in the room without any door or curtain. Could be better with AC

The complex is really beautiful with lots of possibilitys to relax.

No possibility to store your luggage, not even a single possibility to hang some clothes. Shower had no water pressure, same for the toilet.

A little disappointed

not quite as described - quite a few things missing (coffee machine, tv didn’t work, no minibar or any drinks facilities at all). Nothing was resolved when we communicated this & not sure why we paid for the ‘deluxe’ room in this case. Staff was limited and at times rude. There was also building works going on from 8am during our stay. It’s a good concept, but potentially overpriced for what it is. It’s also not sound proofed at all, we could hear everything from the room next door which was awkward!

Stay away - bad service & better options around

the location was nice that’s about it

there was a power outage on the island. Tried the booking app and WhatsApp contact - no response, I was left on read and that’s it. on top of this, local taxi drivers advised this power outage was announced by local autohirities. we had no electricity, no airco, no candles nothing. On top of this the price they charged for a local tour was outrageous (only learned after our tour). the room was shabby, almost no water pressure and to top things off: 1 mouse, 1 scorpion and lizards in the bathroom. Definitely better places for this value around!! Avoid if possible.

Very chill stay on a great island!

Location and scenery was awesome. A little village with enough privacy! Also Juan was very friendly and helpful!

The water pressure could be better, it varied sometimes. But it was not annoying.

A lovely place to stay in Holbox that feels more special than a hostel/hotel.

a unique stay making it an exciting place to be on the island. i loved the pod

Maybe just a bit more help at reception as there was sometimes no one there.

Amazing stay on a beautiful Island. Only wish we could have stayed longer

Unique design, walking distance to the centre of town and the beach. The guy on reception gave us some great tips on restaurants and bars. We loved Holbox

Exceptional

Beautiful place to stay for few days in the jungle. This place is made with great idea to be close to the nature. While you are taking the shower you can smell the fresh air, see the sky and hear the birds. It was great experience to stay there for two nights. Very helpful and friendly guide Juan on the reception was there for us if we had any problem. He also recommended us good restaurants where we spent great time. Wish to stay at Frequency longer. Pure relax!

Simple "room" with good location

Good location (close to beach and city center).

A shelf, wardrobe or chair to put some things would be helpful. It's not a luxury room, but it's ok if you are aware of it.

Excellent sstay in Holbox

Super cosy rooms with a minifridge, the outdoor shower is good addition! you can book tours via the accomodation. we did the 3 island tour for 500pesos per person, which was very nice.
