About this apartment rental
Light, airy, comfortable 2 bedroom, 3rd floor flat with elevator (step-free access); sleeps up to 4 in 2 double beds. Very well-equipped dining-kitchen with dishwasher and laundry facilities. Comfortable sitting room. TV. Free Wifi. Balcony. Cool, "real" and absolutely SAFE part of town, walkable 24 hours per day; 0.3 miles from major transport hub Kings Cross for local, national & international transport.
Lovely inside, redecorated and fully updated throughout with restored original wood parquet floors. On a quiet and peaceful street, yet just minutes walk from bustling Kings Cross/St Pancras. The post-war 1948 building is very solid but not particularly beautiful from the outside.
Lounge: Bright, sunny, seats 6 with access to the flat's private balcony.
Kitchen: fully equipped with fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker. Good quality cutlery, crockery and glassware are available for up to 6 persons, utensils and pots are ample. A folding dining table in the kitchen can seat 4 people easily.
Bedroom 1: Large, double bedroom with ample space and storage space. Direct access to the balcony.
Bedroom 2: Good sized, double bedroom with ample storage space.
Main bathroom: tiled in clean, white tiles and newly re-plumbed with a commodious shower enclosure, sink unit and toilet.
Half bathroom: Recently renovated - just contains a toilet and wash hand basin.
Outside space: There is a small balcony with a table, 2 chairs, a couple of stools, and some plants. There is a private, tree-lined communal garden with seating and a small children's playing area that guests can also access.
Overall: The flat gets lots of natural light and feels spacious. The accommodation would suit a group of friends or a family. The apartment is safe for young children. Ideal for parties of 2-4.
As well as the various amenities listed elsewhere on this site, we provide ample cleaning materials, good quality bed linen and towels. Basic supplies such as shampoo and soap and bathroom tissue are supplied.
Local environment:
Despite being about 5 minutes' walk from a major international terminus, the area is residential and quiet with very little car traffic. There are two gastropubs within a short walk from the apartment that have outside tables and are open until 11pm. In summer there can be some street noise from people enjoying their meals and drinks.
A word about relative size:
Please be aware that this is central London; I'm personally absolutely thrilled to have so much space in such a great location, but the concept of space is relative. Occasionally, guests used to larger homes in cities with more space have expressed surprise at the size. We have no wish to disappoint any of our travelers, so do think carefully about your travel party's space needs; if you want more space for the same price you will have to look for a place less centrally. If you want more space in the same area, you will have to pay more.
Timing of access:
The official check in time is 2pm, but if the property is not occupied the previous night we can arrange earlier. We will clearly negotiate check in times prior to your travel but as we are private individuals with full time jobs, we can only make last minute changes to arrangements in emergencies, such as travel delays. If you need more flexibility than that, please tell us in advance.
During your stay:
We have prepared a file with suggestions for local shops, restaurants and services that we can personally recommend. We can help with your travel plans, if you need us. If there is any problem with your accommodation, we will sort it out promptly.
Arrival:
If you need to arrive at late hour (after 6pm) we do understand - international travel doesn't always land you where you want to be when you want to be there. But please let us know well in advance - we all work full time and both have families, so we cant always be were you might wish us to be exactly when you prefer it. We will do our very best to accommodate you but if it's a really odd time of the day or night, we may have to pay someone to come and let you in and charge a modest late check-in fee. Advance warning really helps us to help you best.

Great location
This is in a great location. It was clean and Tony was great to deal with.

Great on all scores
This flat was perfect for us — space, location, cleanliness, etc. We were very happy and hope to come back. If you stay here, be sure to eat at Casa Tua down Cromer Street and say hello to Massimo!

This was an attractive and very well-equipped flat in an area that gave good access to public transport, grocery shopping and many of London’s attractions. The careful curation of things that earlier tenants had bought and left (unopened sauces and cereals, tea, coffee, etc) added to our feeling of convenience and homeliness. One suggestion - although this should not detract from our assessment of the flat - would be the provision of a top sheet and a blanket for the beds. The building is well-insulated, and the doona proved a little too cosy! Thank-you for a lovely stay.

Loved our stay!
We loved our stay in this flat! It provided all the necessities, was in easy walking distance to public transportation and amenities, and was a great home away from home!

Just what we needed
My husband and I were bringing our 2 boys (12, 10) to London for the first time, and this flat was perfect for our needs. They each had their own room, there are 2 toilets, and everything was clean/simple. Easy access to King’s Cross with all its tube lines and rail. Good little cafes for breakfast in walking distance. Not many main attractions in walking distance, but it was worth the tube ride to have so many rooms at this price.

Home away from home!
This is a great cozy apartment in a very convenient neighborhood.

Everything Great
We spent two nights at this flat in central London. The communication during the time prior to our arrival was prompt and complete. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the flat and given all the information we needed. The location is ideal, a short walk to King's Cross/St. Pancras train station. There is a convenient train map on the wall of the kitchen that we referenced several times. The flat itself was clean with all the amenities we needed. Bedrooms were small but acceptable. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby if you want to stay in the area, but the proximity of the main train station gives you access to all that London has to offer. Overall, a great experience.

Home Away From Home!
It felt like our home away from home! Close access to King's Cross and many restaurants! I can not wait to return.... LOVE London!

Comfortable apartment in ideal location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. We felt safe, relaxed and very much at home as soon as we arrived and for the whole of our stay. Micky was there to meet us and show us around and he was very friendly and accomodating.
We are a family of four with two young children and found the layout perfect for our stay, the children had their own rooms and were able to sleep without issue but still had space in the family room to watch tv and play games. There were several board games which the kids loved.
The apartment was spotless and very clean!
Having two toilets came in very handy.
The kitchen had everything we needed for us to make some meals at home rather than having to eat out every night though the pub over the road Lucas Arms was very nice for a quick meal.
The Brunswick Centre, a convenient shopping hub, was only a short stroll away where we were able to buy groceries from Waitrose as well as other takeaway food options.
Kings Cross Station was very close and made our journeys to and from the apartment each day so easy.
We had no issues with the lift during our stay, worked like a charm and we used it often with our pram.
We would 100% stay there again and throughly recommend staying here for any visitors to London.
Thanks so much Tony and Micky.

Short stay in London
The apartment is very spacious, nicely furnished and generally well equipped for short stays.
Very convenient to St Pancras, Kings Cross Tube and Rail stations.
Grocery stores and plenty of restaurants nearby.
Building is a little shabby and in need of maintenance, but the apartment itself was just fine.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great flat that's surprisingly spacious and conveniently located near Kings Cross Underground
Everything about booking and checking in to the property was flawless. The flat is clean, well furnished and close to transport. We really enjoyed our stay and its convenient location. One thing though, was surprised to find there was no flatware in the otherwise fully equipped kitchen. Would still recommend this flat to London visitors!

1st trip to London
The flat was great. Clean, comfortable and safe. Location was great - close to the tube. One of our traveling partners arrived earlier than originally expected but the property manager was very flexible in timing.

Proximity to Kings Cross
The description of the property was right on. It’s location just a short walk to Kings Cross Station made it super easy to get anywhere in the city and beyond. We had a very comfortable stay in a well appointed flat. Would recommend it for future travelers.

Comfortable flat in a convenient neighborhood
The flat has easy access to all the King's Cross St. Pancras transportation options as well as the new developments such as Gasholders Park and Coal Drop Yards. I did find the neighborhood somewhat noisy at night, but closing the windows kept the flat nice and quiet.

Easy Access Super Clean London Flat
I reserved my time at Tony's King's Cross flat well in advance. Any questions were answered quickly. I was first struck by how clean the entire place was. Literally every room very clean, and I am one that inadvertently looks at baseboards for signs of dust or muck. I would definitely book at this flat again. It was a fantastic two nights in London.

Great rental, great owner
This flat is centrally located. Very close to Kings Cross subway station. Or step around the corner to Grays Inn Rd & hail one of the many famous black cabs that pass by at least every few minutes. An issue with the elevator came up, but Tony went out of his way to solve any problems that arouse from that. All in all, a positive experience.

Kings Cross / Bloomsbury Area
Location was very convenient.
Quite a few local pubs very close, to visit and hear.
Flat was in good shape with no issues.
Exterior of property/landscape needs a bit minding.
Small grocery nearby, larger store is a short walk.
Overall great value.

Great convenient place
No need for a car. Close to kings cross tube station. Shopping center within 10 minute walk. Apartment was relatively clean and easy access. Owner was very responsive. No issues at all during our stay.
