About this house rental
Villa Poseidon is a spacious, secluded home in a gated property overlooking David’s Bay, St. Patrick’s. Located directly on the northern coast of the island, Villa Poseidon overlooks a glistening black sand beach and is surrounded by lush green mountains. Enjoy a private pathway down to the beach for a swim or watch the local fishermen bring in the catch of the day in their brightly painted wooden boats. Eat breakfast at the outdoor bistro tables right next to the kitchen, or spend your evenings on the deck watching the sun set over the water.
The spacious house has 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Villa Poseidon’s master bedroom has a door leading out to the veranda, which can also be accessed from the living room through French doors. A fully-equipped kitchen with modern appliances is the perfect place to try your own hand at some of the flavors of the Spice Isle!
The house is located approximately 15 minutes from the town of Sauteurs and 1 hour and 15 minutes from the crowded main city of St. George’s. This quieter corner of the island gives guests the chance to explore the unspoiled natural beauty that can only be truly appreciated in the north of the island. From here, explore hiking trails, waterfalls, historical sites, and the highly acclaimed Levera National Park.
Complimentary transportation to and from the airport can be arranged.

Again had the pleasure of staying at Poseidon Villa on secluded David Bay in St Patrick.
As last year, Rohan and Michelle were the perfect hosts - prompt, courteous and available when anything wa doc concern though no major issues, just logistics were in question.
Immaculate property - house is memory!
We will be back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! It is as described- very airy, clean, and comfortable. The view is really wonderful and it was very peaceful- with the sounds of nature (the ocean, birds, frogs) all around. The beach is perfect for adults and for kids (ours are 12 and 16, but it is good for younger kids as well). We went down several times a day- access was very easy.
We want to especially thank Rohan and Michelle. They were incredibly helpful with all things and just such gracious hosts.

This was the best equipped property ever rented through VRBO - excellent kitchen, beach chairs, furniture of high quality, comfortable beds - and immaculate!
Only house on the beach which was perfect for 3 year old swimming and playing in the sand. Locals very friendly as well.
Rohan and Michelle ar e great - needed voltage transformer for US plugs - delivered to us immediately. Hosts are attentive though not intrusive.
We will be booking this piece of Paradise again next year!!

This is a lovely property: three big bedrooms, a huge shaded veranda with a stunning view, well equipped and well maintained. Rohan and Michelle are quick to address any issues, usually arriving at the property within thirty minutes! It is remote, however, located at the end of a bumpy dirt road at the northern most part of the island, a windy two hour drive from the Capital on very narrow roads. Get your main groceries in St. George (the IGA is as close to a North American grocery store as you can find) and then enjoy the quiet of the place and a near-private beach. Note: there are a very few nice restaurants in the area, and a lot of more casual ones that say that they are open are not. Phone ahead.

Rohan and Michelle were very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure meeting them.
The views from the deck are incredible and essentially a private beach to swim on.
The house is quite remote which is why I chose it, and driving there was quite challenging at night on narrow, windy mountain roads with very fast drivers. Not for the faint of heart. The drive back in daylight was fine. Eat at Armadillo - over the top good food. Avoid Petite Anse.
The house itself is large but a very odd design and quite stark. Thankfully the two decks were spectacular. It seemed a little pricey to me.

A beautiful remote spot near a secluded but public beach. Got spoiled by the view, the space, the weather, and our hosts who met us both coming and going, gave us tips for dining and boating to Sandy Island, and some spices to take home and remind us of Grenada. Getting there was not an easy drive, but nowhere is easy to drive to in Grenada. Didn't want to leave.

Beautiful site, quiet, semi-private beach
Nice place that would benefit to have AC in the center of the house not only in the bedrooms which are located at both extremities of the house. Would also benefit to have a dishwasher to have clean dishes. Owner are very nice and very responsive to any problems you may have.

Awesome!
The property was like a postcard. The views are awesome. The neighbor, Livingston, made us something new every day. There is also some great snorkeling around the rocks to the left at the end of the beach. Michelle and Rohan were awesome hosts and took us on a tour of the island, including getting us into the closed St. Antione rum distillery, which was very educational. This place is a gem!

Beautiful house, stunning beach, breathtaking nature and wonderful people
If it were possible to give this property a ten star rating, it still wouldn't do it justice. There are no words to describe how beautiful, clean and peaceful this house is, full of air and light in the morning and cooling breeze in the afternoon.
Rohan and Michelle are the loveliest, kindest and most caring people we have ever met during our travels. They are wonderful hosts and truly a pleasure to do business with, but it is more than that - it never felt like business, it felt like the most welcome stay.
The house had everything we needed, from the basket with tropical fruits that Michelle had selected (I will always remember the sweet taste of the perfectly ripe papaya), to the spotless appliances, pots and plates, the spices, and the sunscreen.
The property is very spacious and the gardens around it are immaculate.
And then comes the beach... The water was so green and clean, with gentle cool waves, sparkling in the sun - we would swim and play for hours, and feel so alive and full of joy.
The northern part of the island, where Villa Poseidon is, is lush and stunning. The people may not be rich, but they are very kind, and the town of Sauteurs is busy and bustling in its own right. Get some coconut bake and pineapple tarts from the bakery, sweet ripe mangos and fresh coconut water from the young vendor across from the bus station, and juicy ripe tomatoes (the smaller the better) from the lady next to the fruit store.
For dinner, visit Petite Anse (the food is really good) or Mount Edgecombe Plantation. The views, the food, the cocktails, the people - we would remember them for a long time.
And finally, if it is not a busy harvesting season, Rohan and Michelle may be able to welcome you to the cocoa, nutmeg and spice farm. I would never forget the complex taste of the fresh, unfermented cocoa seed, or the aroma of the cinnamon and the nutmeg mace, or the amazing chestnut taste of the breadnuts that Michelle had prepared for us (thank you again Michelle!), or the sour taste of the fruit of the cumber tree (which I absolutely loved - Rohan showed it to me).
And he next day we went to see how chocolate is made in the Crayfish Bay Estate. Kim and Lylette truly make the best chocolate - it is to die for. And their story is remarkable. You know, after trying this chocolate, I don't know if I can eat any other chocolate - it will not come even close.
We truly had the most amazing, fun, and rejuvenating vacation.
Thank you Michelle and Rohan!

Amazing property on the beach
This is the second time we have stayed here, and if anything it was even better than the first time. The seclusion plus access to a beautiful, safe swimming beach is just incredible. This is now our favourite place in the Caribbean. We were extremely well looked after by Rohan and Michelle, and even had the chance to visit their beautiful cocoa and spices farm a few miles away.

Five Stars are not enough!!!!
From the moment we arrived at Villa Poseidon we knew we had struck gold! We had been in e-mail contact with the owners, Michelle and Rohan in the days running up to our stay and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Their welcome was genuinely warm and they went above and beyond to help us as we had further guests joining our party from the UK that evening. Indeed, they helped us to arrange transport from the airport, provided extra refrigeration from their own home and offered innumerable other kindnesses throughout our stay which were gratefully accepted from these wonderful hosts.
The villa is spotless and beautifully designed. The wide terrace overlooks lush forest and the view over David’s Bay and the islands is truly breathtaking. We were very fortunate to have our wedding on the beach here and a small reception afterwards. All of our guests commented on the delightful and memorable setting and it will certainly always be a day we will cherish. I cannot recommend Villa Poseidon and its lovely owners highly enough.

beautiful and peaceful
We loved our getaway. We felt that we were living on the beach in the middle of a lush garden. The home had a nicely equipped kitchen that we prepared fresh fish from the local market along with the fresh fruit that was amazing. The rum was very good too. We especially enjoyed the porch overlooking the gardens and beach and the sound of the ocean that you could hear throughout the house. The breeze that came through the opened french doors was perfect.
Armadillo restaurant was the best restaurant but advance reservations are needed and cash only.
Rohan and Nichelle were the best hosts!
Until next time!

Great property and amazing location
Couldn’t be better. Rohan and Michelle were great host and met us on arrival. The house sits above a beautiful quiet beach which is great for swimming. We spent a lot of time on the veranda overlooking the beach. There’s shopping in nearby Sauters. Overall, one of the best places we have stayed in the Caribbean.

My stay with my daughters at Poseidon Villa
The Villa was immaculate! The property owners (Rohan and Michelle) were very welcoming and accommodating. It took a lot of nudging among ourselves and Will Power to simply venture out of the Villa. It was indeed a Home Away from Home!
