About this apartment rental

The flat is on the 4th floor of an apparmment builing right in center of town. Is spacious, and beautifully furnished, equipped with all amenities, but relatively small (100 square meters). The livingroom, the master beadroom, and the office have a fantastic view to the sea and mount Esja. The livingroom has two seating areas, and a built over balcony with a small dinig tabel. The livingroom also features a small grand piano The master bedroom has a king size bed and a TV flat screen. The office is small, but there we have a convertabel sleepingsofa. The bathroom has a shower, and there is a washingroom on the floor ( private washing machine and dryer but the room is a common space for all four apartments on the floor). There is also a shared balcony (the same four flats) in the corridor of the floor, facing south-east. There is a private parking place in the basement garage. Just outside the house there is a buststop for excursions trips to tourist sites.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Great views of the sea. 5-10 minute walk to anything you want to do in the center city and the Old Harbor. Right across the street from a tour and airport bus stop. Spacious with walk-in shower and well equipped kitchen.

This was an amazing location. The ocean view was spectacular! It was very quiet, relaxing place to stay during the evening. We loved the fact that the property was within walking distance to all of the tourist sites and restaurants in Reykjavik. We appreciated all of the information that the host gave us about the property prior to our arrival as well: particularly being warned ahead of time that the parking stall that was included was very narrow, and chose our rental car accordingly- this stall will not accommodate any vehicle larger than a Toyota Yaris. We had a fantastic holiday thank you for letting us stay with you!

This was our first time in Iceland and we stayed for 8 days in this wonderful apartment. We enjoyed the kitchen as well. It's just a perfect location for Reykjavik. We always have issues with the mattress wherever we stay, but this mattress was great. Very comfortable for us. Enjoy.

This charming apartment right on the ocean was the perfect place for our first trip to Iceland. It had all the amenities you could want—full kitchen, shower, comfy bed, onsite laundry and beautiful views. Despite the cold weather outside, the apartment stayed cozy at night, and it was very quiet. It is conveniently located next to several bus stops and an easy walk to the heart of Reykjavik + many great shops, restaurants and bars. The trash/recycling/compost system in Reykjavik was a bit confusing to us, so we recommend doing research beforehand to ensure you know how to sort waste during your stay. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Iceland!

This condo is thoroughly finished with high quality furnishings. The location is close to the old city. It is also on bus routes for day trips or getting to the airport. This condo made our vacation great!

The apartment was as described and shown on the pictures; the owner was very quick to react to queries and very friendly and helpful. I was a bit surprised that the fridge and freezer had not beem emptied and that there was so much food stuff in the kitchen cupboards. As I am sensitive to noise I was not very happy about the busy street in front of the apartment building. For me personally the bed was too soft but that's a matter of preferences. Apart from that, everything was great.

Excellent location in Reykjavik, close to bus stops, stores, walking, attractions. Cozy and quiet apartment, excellent view of harbour. Well equipped kitchen for when u want to eat in. Very very comfortable bed. Comes with access to washer and dryer. Has excellent bakery at street level entrance to apartment. Guests are provided with recent tour guides of Iceland. Guests questions are answered immediately by owner.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Beautiful view, Tinna provided great information for check in, process for using garage if you have a car, suggested grocery store and restaurants. We did day trips each day from this central location. It was nice to have our things in one spot and to come back to a comfortable place to rest.

The view of the harbor is wonderful, the location is great - easy walking distance to main Reykjavik tourist area and Harpa (we enjoyed several shows at Harpa). Apartment was clean and the bed very comfortable. Free garage parking for our rental car was very convenient. Highly recommend this property.

We had a great experience! This property is within walking distance of restaurants and shops, and very near the Harpa. There is also on floor laundry, and a garage that was made available to us so we didn't need to dig out our car when it snowed. Our host Tinna made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay, and I would definitely recommend this property! Thanks so much Tinna!

We loved everything about the location of this home! We could walk everywhere in downtown Reykjavik - shops, culture center, museums,- or take a bus that stopped right by the front door. The flat was comfy, cozy, beautiful decor and felt very welcoming!

We were extremely satisfied with our week-long stay in the apartment. Everything worked fine. Right from the initial introduction. We enjoyed the central location, the view, the decor, the furniture and the equipment could not be better. Nice with access to closed garage. The apartment is hard to leave and we hope to come back for another holiday.

The property was excellent and exactly as in their advertisement. Very spacious, clean, well stocked and warm. Instructions relatively easy to understand. Excellent location for old town, Harpa conference centre, the docks. Second bedroom is a fold out sofa bed which is a tight fit in the office it is located in. Sufficient. The main bedroom is lovely. Views everywhere. Thoroughly recommend as excellent value for money and a great place to stay

This rental is in a spectacular location, just steps from a bakery and nice shops and restaurants. It faces the water with large windows and expansive views of mountains and sea from every room. We saw the sunrise, a snow storm, and a rainbow from the living room during our week-long stay. The bed is comfortable and the apartment has an elegant glass sink in the bathroom. Directions, check-in, and info about the apartment are all thorough and easy, thanks to wonderful host Tinna. This apartment is so fabulous, we can't wait to come back and stay here again!

This flat was perfect for our week-long stay in Iceland! It is a cozy, welcoming space in a very quiet building. It's a wonderful atmosphere to come back to after a day out exploring in the cold. The view is just as beautiful as promised, and there is a small telescope and binoculars provided to enjoy it even more. We loved being able to see the Imagine Peace Tower lit up each night! The location is excellent, with a bus stop right out front and the building just a short walk from the city center. It only takes about five minutes to walk to the Harpa for performances (which is extra nice now that they are also offering Covid testing there if you need it for traveling). Tinna, the host, was very responsive to the few questions we had. I will definitely be booking this flat as our home away from home next time we're in Iceland!

These accommodations were top quality at a prime location. Situated just two blacks off of the main strip of Laugavegur with an ocean view, this spot can’t be beat. It’s walking distance from most essentials like grocery stores and close to good restaurants and entertainments. The hosts have also provided plenty of in home amenities and detailed instructions that helped us feel very supported. The apartment itself is clean, charming, and in a very secure building while the views from inside of the bay and Mount Esja are truly breathtaking. We had the privilege of staying long term(3 months) at this location and are already excited to come back for another stay when we return to Reyjavik. Highly recommended!
