Loved it

Everything absolutely wonderful

Our room was right next to the dining room and you a bit of noise from people talking etc.

Fantabulous

The breakfast basket in our fridge (we had one of two self contained rooms, Lola) had everything you could want and more. The Inn was walking distance to nice Restaurants and Cataract Gorge.

Would definetly stay again next time

Lovely Heritage decor and house, nice area, high on hill, quiet house, no children, large spa bath in the room was very relaxing, We stayed in the Elle room and it was perfect for us.

Nous avons adoré cet hôtel, c était tout simplement génial. L'hôtel se situe au bout d'une petite ruelle. La propriété est magnifique, nous n'avons vu personne mais les explicatifs était parfait pour prendre possession de sa chambre. Notre chambre se trouvait à l'étage et était super bien équipée. Notre lit à baldaquin était super agréable (nous avons super bien dormi) notre spa/baignoire /douche était aussi très agréable. Le jardin est magnifique. Dans le frigo il y avait 2 boissons offertes de la part des propriétaires (merci). Le petit déj compris sous forme de plateau à prendre soit dans sa chambre soit dans la grande salle à manger, nous avons fait le choix de le prendre dans la magnifique salle à manger. Nous conseillons cet hôtel sans problème. Merci aux propriétaires de montrer sur l'iPad dans la cuisine "l'histoire du bâtiment et les travaux effectués pour garder en vie cette belle demeure". C'est un belle résidence pour un séjour romantique, nous étions dans la chambre ELLE

Awesome Property in Launceston

The photos are real, they're not AI generated, something that I've experienced with some bookings

There's nothing that I disliked about this property. Just one feedback: I wish they had a wardrobe or maybe some sort of arrangement to hang coats, hangers, etc.

Relaxing overnight stay in Historic Launceston mansion

Stayed in the Delilah room and found it very comfortable, very clean and a great size. Loved the armchairs in the corner, the complimentary cheese and crackers and the huge breakfast basket. The check in and check out instructions were simple and made the whole experience very easy and relaxed.

Unique stay in a great location

We stayed in the Delilah room which was so comfortable and gorgeously decorated. It was chilly outside and the room was nice and warm and cosy. The bed was super comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Gorgeous breakfast and well set up. A really unique stay in a great location.

Lovely.

I thought the breakfast basket was great. It took us a while to master microwaving the eggs but we got there. I loved having space in the room as well as breakout space - balcony, front room, garden. Much better than a hotel.

There must have been something... Actually, we've told all our friends how good it was.

Our room was very comfortable and warm. Breakfast was all that we needed. We have stayed at the Dragonfly Inn twice now. I am sure we will stay with you again.

A step back in time, very romantic

The room was lovely, the common areas were beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The breakfast hamper was amazing, a great selection of breakfast goodies and very generous servings. I loved the history of the guest house, it was all very interesting.

A lovely space for 2 people. We would like to come back.

Absolutely loved the breakfast room and the set up for it - great idea.

I dont think it can be improved but the step into the massive (lovely) bath was a doozy. There is a step into/up to it but the downstep into the bath itself is steep and takes some navigating.

Location, check in, quiet and breakfast

Housekeeping was practically non existent. Towels not changed, bathroom items not replaced etc. Instructions for hot plate and oven were terrible and didn’t match the dials. Under stairway spare goods were non existent.

Everything was perfect the breakfast tray in the fridge was so good as we had been travelling all day so toast for snack and still plenty left for breakfast

Everything was perfect but we got there early and didn't have a way of contacting anyone as phones were turned off but lucky for us the manager showed up and we were allowed in

Nice size room. Quiet.

Mattress is worn out. Two sleeping divots with a hump between. A bit impersonal. Never met the staff just lots of notes on how to do stuff.

Classy vintage B&B, Well run

Fun & interesting multi story historical hotel building and garden grounds on a hill in a neighborhood. Our room was large and comfortable. The shared dining room and common spaces provide additional enjoyment. The Owner/Hosts have a very efficient set of procedures for check in, welcome package, and breakfast. We tried the microwave poaching instructions which turned out very reasonable.

We managed well, but some may need help getting luggage from parking area to room, and that did not appear available.

Lovely!

Everything! Spotlessly clean, big room, great views. Big breakfast. It was interesting to chat to fellow travellers during breakfast. Some items were left in the fridge to enjoy, which was a lovely touch!
