Komfortabel und günstig

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist klasse. Die Lage ist zwar nicht so gut und man benötigt ein Uber oder Taxi um zur Path Train Station zu gelangen, aber dafür ist der Komfort deutlich höher als in deutlich teureren Hotels in Manhattan. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß. Unser Zimmer hatte sogar eine Badewanne, einen kleinen Flur, Schreibtisch, Kühlschrank und Sessel. Genug Platz für alle Koffer und sämtliches Gepäck. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Hochwertige Dusch- und Pflegeprodukte von Dove. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich und das Frühstück war typisch amerikanisch, dafür aber mit großer Auswahl. Das Hotel verfügt außerdem über Fitnessraum und Waschmaschinen. Das Personal war super freundlich und herzlich. Insgesamt war es ein wirklich guter Aufenthalt in New Jersey. Auch unsere Kinder haben sich richtig wohl gefühlt.

Von außen sieht es erstmal nicht so super aus, aber das spielt sobald man drin ist keine Rolle. Die Lage ist nicht ideal, aber für uns wars das absolut wert. Außerdem gibt es für den Hunger Abends Uber Eats/Lyft etc. mit einer riesigen Auswahl.

Comfy hotel, and useful base for exploring the city!

I think this is potentially the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The room was nice, the fitness centre was well equipped and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good. There is also a guest laundry service which was useful.

This is pretty ‘remote’, I was very concerned when we first arrived but you can get a short 10 minute (roughly 10 dollar) Uber to journal square PATH station and from there get a train directly to the world trade centre or 33rd street. Also, the safe in our room did not work, the staff rang us at 8:30 am to ask could they come fix it, they came to the room but left the safe broken and didn’t communicate this with us. They told they couldn’t give us a new one without permission to swap the safe, however I had given permission to fix the safe and they never asked to change it. Somewhat frustrating. Considering the prices of staying in New York this is a pretty good option but not really anywhere to walk from the hotel, we relied on Ubers and a lot of other guests seemed to do the same or drive.

Just okay overall. Good enough to return.

I liked their no pet policy as I am allergic to dogs. I liked the free parking and relatively close proximity to driving into New York. I liked the free breakfast and the options provided. I liked the gym and overall the hotel is okay. The TV channels were good too, as was the size of our room.It is 14 mins away from restaurants like olive garden and outback steak house.I also liked the friendly staff and the small shop vending area.

Area around the hotel is less than desirable. Lots of auto mechanic shops and no restaurants or need area to walk around. Looked unsafe for a stroll. The bedding had hairs from previous guest so we had to change them. The towel rack was shaky and the toilet seat was shaky. The bath tub was very slippery and I had to hold on to shower. The room isn't spotless like some have claimed in past reviews. Looks like someone sprayed cleaning solution on the mirror base and walls but didn't wipe it off. The carpet needs shampoo cleaning and the bedding (comforter)was old and ragged..rips from wear and tear.The coffee machine had residue and needs cleaning. Views from wi dow is the US postal service factory.

Value Packed Hotel to Stay.

The included hot breakfast was something I haven't seen in a while. It is much better than the "continental breakfast" I had seen in other hotels/motels in the past few years. I can see that the owner/management had put a lot of efforts in this. The free included parking is another point that I appreciated. Even though the hotel seemed full there were rooms/spots available. The gym seemed good. We went in and looked at the exercise machines but unfortunately didn't have time to use them.

If there is shuttle service available then that would be even better. We had to drive our car to the PATH station and parked in the parking structure. Outside the room we stayed, I believe, was the train track. Although the sound insulation was there but we still can heard a lot of traffic / track sound throughout the night. Not a major issue for us but just somewhat annoying.

Great for a 1 night stay....I guess.

The shower pressure was terrific.

The room smelled like corn chips and the view was horrible on both sides. The loitering was bothersome. The guy at check-in was not very responsive. Needs training on gender fluidity.

Tolles Hotel in nicht so toller Umgebung

Das Hotel wirkt sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Zimmer war groß genug mit genügend Sitzgelegenheiten und Ablagemöglichkeiten für Gepäck. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das Frühstück ist toll.

Die Umgebung ist nicht besonders ansprechend. Es wirkt, als wäre das Hotel auf einer Baustelle gebaut worden... Der Müllberg, der beim Frühstück produziert wird, ist erschreckend.

Appropriate for cost. Safety and comfortable.

Large enough and any facility is clean and works well. Staff also kind enough to. Especially cleaning staff are very kind and doing very well.

but one time miscommunication happened between reception and floor to fulfill the shampoo and body soap. It’s ok. Location is a little bit inconvenient.

Clean and new

Staff barely spoke English. Screwed my reservation up and had me booked 3 months later so had to book a new reservation and then denied refunding me for the other reservation. In the middle of the ghetto run down area. Don't stay here.

It just doesn’t feel like they care about their customers there at all

The property itself was OK.

We called down to the front desk several times to let them know that our television was not working. We were told several times that somebody was on their way up. No one ever showed to fix the television or even look at it. It just seemed like they didn’t care at all. When you pay $246 for a hotel room for the night, it would be nice to simply have a TV that works.

Was fantastic experience

We really liked the rooms, and breakfast was so delicious and convenient. My kids loved everything. Easy to commute NY and Jersey city. From lobby to entrance of elevator everywhere there was fantastic fragrance, that's what i loved most of.

Software not good enough the staff don’t know what they are doing

They had put $20 safety deposit and supposedly to return back on my check out but they didn’t. It’s like an $20 bucks hiding charge Fire drill took place in the early morning had to stand in the cold windy weather with gowns and slippers, no explanations from the hotel, that’s rude

The washer/dryer out of service! Family of six travelling for over a week, we definitely needed it and we ended up having to go to a laundry mat to do it. Super inconvenient

It was horrible.

I came back to the property because it’s my second time here. The first time I was really impressed but this time it’s was a total disaster.

As soon as I walk in the room it’s stank really bad. The sheets smelled like they haven’t been wash from the previous. The room just smell nasty. I went to the front desk and they told me they could not give me another room, because they were book. But they went and spray something to make it better, Will I went in the room at first it was okay like first 5 min. I left to go see around the city and came back 3 hours later it still smell bad like dirty. I was really upset because this was the second time here and I thought I was going to have the same experience. The mattress was also really uncomfortable nothing like the first time. I was really upset, it was nothing like I expected it. I had to sleep with a really bad smell in the room and sheets
