Fantastic place, very friendly staff, fab food!
Nothing!

Clean comfy room with everything we needed. Plenty of safe parking right alongside, fantastic food.
We stayed in the cottage on the right. Unfortunately the front door just outside our room slams shut . This is very loud if not closed properly by other guests.
4.3
Great location, perfect cottage ground floor rooms in a little courtyard with table and chairs, so our friends in adjoining rooms could sit out and have a cup of tea with us.
Comfortable beds, well furnished and decorated beautifully, tea & coffee facilities and toiletries provided in the bathroom.
Lovely breakfast and wonderful staff who are so welcoming and accommodating and helpful.
4.3
Huge, comfortable room and bed, high quality furnishings, great to have a bath as well as a shower. Superb food at dinner and breakfast. Friendly, swift service.
It was all great!

It was overall a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and the Inn's Atmosphere was cosy and authentic.
The room was Clean but could need a fresh-up - new carpets and curtains maybe - was a bit dated really (smell wise). The mattress also wasn't the comfiest.

Location & friendly staff
Mould on bathroom ceiling/walls, dirty toilet, lumpy bed, dirty room, smelly old carpets & curtains - AWFUL!!!! No vegetarian options for breakfast & nothing done about it. I had no break fast on 2 days. Bread for toast at groin level so guests clothing was brushing over it constantly. Tables sticky. Assigned table to room number so we got stuck against a windowless wall by the entrance with constant traffic banging into us. Manager rude, not once asked if we were ok & he thought it ok to slag absent staff off to other staff in front of guests. We would never stay there again even if it cost nothing. Shame as could be lovely if they cared about the guest experience.

The 400 year old room was excellent.
Nothing comes to mind.

There was a good selection from the menus and specials were available in the evenings. The room was very well layed out with plenty of room.
There is also a bus service from the Inn to the major towns.
The reception on the wfi was basic in the room and you needed to be in the restaurant for a better reception, also the TV had no wfi reception only general TV programmes.

We had an amazing stay. The staff were brilliant, even helping us find local walks and a swimming pool to visit. Our room was a great size and very clean. The food and drink was all excellent. We would definitely return

loved the location, staff were friendly, place was really clean with the expection of a couple spider webs in the room
no wi-fi at all even after I filled out the form. please make the Wi-Fi secure with a password and add more routers theoughout the cottages for hetter signal - currently it’s public and can be easily accessible by just filling in a form, which isn’t the safest option for customers and also you cannot reconnect once you lose access to the Internet with the Wi-fi, even after forgetting the network.

We liked the charming character of the Colesbourne and had a comfortable stay. The cooked breakfast was very good and we also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. We would definitely stay again .
Coasters to put hot drinks on in room as furniture wooden and didn’t want to mark it.

location was good.
unfortunately from when we arrived the general ambiance was average. The chap behind the bar was friendly but the waitress was not front of house trained. At one point she wore her winter coat when serving.
Kitchen and off duty staff also used the stools at the bar alongside a local patron.
The bedroom was small & required a small external walk to the main building, the general appearance of the hotel required an upgrade however given the last 3-yrs we understand the struggle the hotel & leisure industry is going through.

Loved our roll top bath, and attic room. Lovely hotel restaurant and lounge with cosy fires.
Central to visiting all parts of Cotswolds
One of my reasons for choosing The Colesbourne Inn was the vegan options. In general the food looked amazing however the first night I ordered the dahl which was so over salted as to be inedible. On Sunday evening, they had sold out of the vegan roast which was a massive disappointment so make sure to book / let them know in advance if required as they are clearly a hotspot for Sunday lunch.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great food

Lovely cosy pub in a beautiful setting. Room had everything you needed for a good stay and was separate from the pub so you were not disturbed by noise or footfall. Staff were so welcoming and friendly.
Two single beds attached together so wasn’t the most comfortable nights sleep, could have done with a mattress topper.
4.3
the pub was really well furnished and the rooms were very comfy and had everything you needed. breakfast was delightful and we had a meal at the pub one evening which was lovely too.
when we arrived the manager was a bit snappy but we later they were quite stressed with staff illness and shortages. overall this didn’t impact our stay

The dinner was great, good selection of beverages. The breakfast was delicious served in a beautiful cozy dining room. The Inn is super cute! The room was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable, good coffee, tea and biscuits provided, large lovely clean bathroom. There are cozy sofas in the bar area to chill on. We had a fantastic stay and would return again.
It would be a nice touch to have some pastry at breakfast

It was easy to find. Staff were nice. Breakfast was good
Bin was not emptied so we questioned what else he not been cleaned or changed. We were out all day at a wedding and when we arrived back the light had been left on and the door was not closed so anyone could have walked into our room.

We were met with a very warm welcome, the Inn is beautiful and our room was fantastic. Beautifully decorated and great quality furniture. Cannot recommend the food enough!!! It was absolutely delicious....wish we were there for a couple of nights!
Our bed was a little hard for us but thats just what we are used to I guess. Certainly no other complaints.
